Abstract

Written in English with a distance between sentences of 1 space and the number of words between 150-250. The abstract should contain introductions, methods, results and discussions and conclusions (without citation). Avoid using citations in t The problem of stunting is one part of double burden malnutrition (DBM) which has a very detrimental impact both in terms of health and in terms of economic productivity, both in the short and long term for Indonesia. Data from the Sungai Andai Health Center in 2022 as many as 29 pregnant women or 14.5% of pregnant women experienced CED and as many as 31 people or 15.5% of pregnant women experienced Anemia. The implementation of classes for pregnant women is only carried out once every three to four months and the implementation of classes for pregnant women is only in the form of health education without nutritional management for pregnant women, this shows that maximum efforts are still needed to prevent stunting where CED and anemia in pregnant women are one of the risk factors causing the occurrence of stunting in children. PKM is carried out by providing materials and processing healthy food as well as training on screening nutritional problems for pregnant women to cadres in the Sungai Andai. In evaluating the pretest results, the lowest average score was 65 and in the posttest results the average score was 93. There was an increase in the previous score. and after delivering the training, the average score increased by 28. The increase in knowledge was demonstrated by the cadres' ability to explain healthy food menus to pregnant women in the Pregnant Women's Class Activities and data collection carried out by cadres in screening pregnant women with nutritional problems.

Abstract

Background: The use of hormonal contraceptives such as injections and pills continues to dominate the choices of active family planning (FP) acceptors in the working area of Puskesmas Makunjung, while long-term methods such as intrauterine devices (IUDs) remain very low. This preference is suspected to be influenced by the economic status and parity of the acceptors. Methodology: This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 33 active FP acceptors selected through accidental sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Fisher Exact test to examine the relationship between economic status and parity with the choice of hormonal contraceptive methods. Result: The most common hormonal contraceptive choice was injections (54.5%), followed by pills (24.2%), and implants (21.2%). Most respondents came from the low economic group (66.7%) and had non-risk parity (2–3 children) at 77.8%. The analysis showed a significant relationship between economic status and the choice of hormonal contraceptive methods (p = 0.024), while no significant relationship was found between parity and contraceptive choice (p = 0.739). Conclusions: There is a relationship between economic status and the choice of hormonal contraceptives in the working area of Puskesmas Makunjung; however, no relationship was found between parity and contraceptive choice in the same area. It is recommended that Puskesmas Makunjung be more proactive in providing education and counseling on long-term contraceptive methods, particularly for acceptors from low-income groups.

The population is all newborn babies in 2023, there are 348 babies with a total sampling technique for the case group, there are 26 LBW babies and the control group is simple random sampling, there are 26 babies. Test analysis with univariate and bivariate chi-square. Results: There was a history of anemia among 52 pregnant women in 12 mothers (23.1%) and CED in 11 mothers (21.2%). The relationship between anemia and LBW was found to be a p-value of 0.021 (p<0.05) and an Odd Ratio (OR) of 7.500, the relationship between KEK and LBW was found to be a p-value of 0.042 (p<0.05) and OR 6.353. Conclusion: There is a relationship between anemia and a 7 times higher risk of experiencing LBW, while there is a relationship with CED with a 6 times higher risk of experiencing LBW. Abstract

Cervical cancer remains a leading cause of death among women. Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an effective and low-cost screening method; however, its utilization remains low due to social stigma. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between social stigma and interest in VIA screening among women of reproductive age in the Astambul Community Health Center area. An analytical cross-sectional design was used involving 63 respondents selected through quota sampling. Data were collected using an adapted Cancer Stigma Scale (CASS) questionnaire and a VIA screening interest questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that most respondents had moderate stigma (92.1%) and were not interested in VIA screening (55.6%). There was a significant relationship between social stigma and interest in VIA screening (p=0.041). Lower social stigma was associated with higher interest in VIA screening. Therefore, continuous health education is needed to reduce stigma and increase screening participation.
