Abstract

The implementation method used in this activity is in the form of ANC counseling and discussions with participants. This activity took place at the Salo Timur Village Office Hall on December 11, 2020. The target of this activity was pregnant women in Salo Timur Village, the Salo Health Center Work Area. The media used to facilitate the implementation of counseling were using infocus and laptops where the extension material was in the form of Powerpoints, and the distribution of leaflets to the audience.Pregnancy examination is one of the important steps towards a healthy pregnancy and is something that pregnant women must do. Pregnancy checks can be done through a gynecologist or midwife with a minimum of 4 checks during pregnancy, namely in the first trimester of pregnancy, the second trimester and twice in the third trimester of pregnancy (applies in normal pregnancy).Antenatal Care (ANC) visit is a visit from a pregnant woman midwife or doctor as early as possible since she feels that she is pregnant to get antenatal care. At each ANC visit, the officer collects and analyzes data regarding the mother's condition through anamnesis and physical examination to obtain a diagnosis of intrauterine pregnancy, and whether there are any problems or complications. (Saifudin, et al, 2002).During the period of pregnancy, mothers are advised to undergo ANC examinations. ANC examination is a pregnancy check to optimize the mental and physical health of pregnant women. This examination aims to recognize early on if there are abnormalities or complications during pregnancy so that pregnant women can immediately take further steps. Not only that, ANC also aims to monitor the development of pregnancy, prepare for childbirth, prepare for exclusive breastfeeding and prepare mothers to accept the presence of a baby.

Abstract

Nowadays people are no stranger to hearing the word Hypertension. Hypertension is a disease that is commonly found in the community, and is a disease associated with the cardiovascular system. Hypertension is not a contagious disease, but we also cannot take it lightly, we should always be vigilant. High blood pressure or hypertension and atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) are the two main conditions that underlie many forms of cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, it is not uncommon for high blood pressure to also cause kidney problems. Until now, both efforts to prevent and treat hypertension have not been fully successful, this is due to many influencing factors such as lack of knowledge about hypertension (understanding, classification, signs and symptoms, causes and complications) and also its treatment. Currently, the death rate due to hypertension in Indonesia is very high. Hypertension is the number 3 cause of death after stroke and tuberculosis, which reaches 6.7% of the population of deaths at all ages in Indonesia. Hypertension is a circulatory system disorder that causes an increase in blood pressure above normal, which is 140/90 mmHg. The results of the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) Balitbangkes in 2007 showed the prevalence of hypertension nationally reached 31.7% (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia). Of that amount, 60% of people with hypertension end up in a stroke. While the rest in the heart, kidney failure, and blindness. While in the Western world, hypertension actually causes kidney failure, because efforts need to be made to reduce the number of hypertension disease, especially for people with hypertension need to be given proper care and treatment so as not to cause complications that are getting worse. In addition, the importance of providing nursing care to hypertensive patients is also very necessary to carry out the correct implementation in hypertensive patients. It is hoped that with this community service about hypertension disorders,it can provide appropriate and correct nursing care for people with hypertension and can reduce morbidity and mortality due to hypertension in the community.

Abstract

Diabetes is one of the most common and serious chronic diseases in Indonesia today. Half of the cases of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) are undiagnosed because in general diabetes is not accompanied by symptoms until complications occur. The prevalence of diabetes is increasing due to changes in lifestyle, an increase in the number of calories eaten, a lack of physical activity and an increasing number of the elderly human population. With the increasingly advanced socio-economic conditions of the Indonesian people as well as better and more equitable health services, it is estimated that the incidence of diabetes mellitus (DM) will increase. From the survey results, it was found that the number of DM patients at the Adult Poly Health Center in Salo was the second of the 10 most diseases. Based on data obtained in 2020 the number of diabetes patients increased to 1256 patients. While data on knowledge of nutrition and eating patterns obtained 7 out of 10 patients with diabetes mellitus due to lack of knowledge of nutrition and poor eating patterns. Type II DM in Indonesia is a non-communicable disease or 2.1% of all deaths. Given the increasing incidence of diabetes mellitus and the dangers of complications, it is necessary to conduct health education and examinations about hypertension, including blood glucose levels (KGD) examinations so that the elderly in the UPT BLUD Work Area of the Salo Health Center can monitor their health conditions and control KGD younger. Abstract

Helmets are a form of body protection worn on the head and are usually made of metal or other hard materials such as kevlar, resin fibers, or plastic. Helmets are usually used as head protection for various combat (military) activities, or civilian activities such as sports, mining, or driving. Helmets can provide additional protection of part of the head (depending on the structure) from falling or high-velocity objects. Motorcycle drivers on the highway have behaviors that tend to be more dangerous than other vehicle drivers. This can be seen that there are still many motorcycle drivers who do not use safety attributes, especially helmets to reduce the risk in the event of an accident. In addition to helmets, the attributes of driving equipment must also be considered to make driving safer and more comfortable. Such as using shoes, using a jacket and trousers and if necessary using a mask and gloves, which function to grip the motorcycle handlebars to make it more comfortable and steady (Wibowo, 2011). Severe head injuries account for the largest share of accidents experienced by motorcyclists. Types of head damage in the form of cracks in the cranium, injuries to the forehead or face, the back or sides of the head. This is where the SNI helmet performs its function in order to reduce the level of injury to the head. People's behavior to wear standard helmets is still low, many motorcycle riders still use helmets as they are (not meeting the standards), as well as many circulating non-standard helmets. The price of a standard helmet that is widely sold in the market is relatively expensive, so it is very burdensome for those who have mediocre income. Knowledge, and trust in people who think standard helmets are no different from normal helmets. Standard helmets are considered inconvenient and can reduce vision, especially at night, hot until the wearer sweats. Some of these helmet users just cover their heads so they are not ticketed by police officers. Keywords: Helm SNI, Counseling

Abstract

Adolescence or odelesence is a dynamic growth and development phase in an individual's life. Ridan Permai Village is one of the villages in the working area of ??the Bangkinang Public Health Center, Kampar Regency. When a survey was conducted by the team for the head of Ridan Permai Village, it was found that adolescents rarely receive reproductive health counseling, reproductive health checks and other activities that can support the reproductive health status of adolescents. Adolescents are also a group that is vulnerable and at risk of experiencing various reproductive health problems and behavioral deviations in a negative direction because they are still in the search for identity phase. Based on the situation analysis and problem identification mentioned above, a problem can be formulated, namely the need for reproductive health counseling for adolescents in Ridan Permai Village. The implementation method used in this activity is in the form of counseling on reproductive health for adolescents. This activity took place in Ridan Permai Village on August 18 2022. The result of this community service is that it can increase adolescent knowledge about reproductive health and the status of adolescent reproductive health is monitored and has increased.
