Abstract

The CEKATAN Program (Preventing Sexual Violence Against Children) represents a comprehensive initiative between Madura State Polytechnic and, the Department of Social Services, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection of Sampang Regency. This program emphasizes community involvement to optimize efforts in preventing sexual violence against children. The objectives of this initiative include identifying trends in child abuse, gathering cross-sectoral information related to child violence, providing support to child protection workers (PPA) in each district, and reporting cases to promote a "Zero Tolerance for Sexual Violence" policy. The CEKATAN program is implemented through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), designed to analyze issues of violence against children. Key activities include signing a collective commitment, identifying issues of child violence, and delivering expert presentations. The FGD outcomes are a report on child violence issues and a collective agreement to prevent and address child abuse. This community service activity will proceed with a follow-up program, focusing on developing a policy brief on child violence prevention and handling strategies for Sampang Regency.

Abstract

The “zero Hunger” target of the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) is to eliminate all forms of malnutrition by 2030 and reduce the prevalence of stunting in children by 50% (United Nations, 2015). In 2022, the Pamekasan Health Office succeeded reducing the incidence of stunting in a significant time, namely from 38.6% in 2021 to 8.1% in 2022 (SSGI, 2022). The next urgency is to maintain this positive achievement and ensure that there are no more additional cases of stunting, by looking at the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the strategy, namely optimizing the active role of the community to support stunting prevention actions (LKJIP Health Office, 2021). Thus, one of the programs was created, namely the Revitalization Of PIC Stunting in 10 stunting village locations in Pamekasan Regency 2023. The purpose of this activity is to improve the knowledge and skills of PIC Stunting in efforts to prevent and manage reporting of stunting cases. This activity was attended by 23 participants consisting of 17 PIC Stunting, 4 people from the Pamekasan Health Office, and 2 people from DP3AP2KB. The core activity was in presentation of material from analytical speakers in the form of problems, strategies to accelerate stunting reduction, socialization of the SOBAT GESIT application, discussion, and closed with the provision a module " Langkah Mewujudkan Generasi Emas Bebas Stunting". This PIC Stunting Revitalization Program produced outputs in the form of a joint commitment in efforts to accelerate stunting reduction in Pamekasan Regency.

Abstract

Stunting atau balita pedek saat ini merupakan salah satu masalah yang dialami oleh balita di dunia. Tren status gizi Balita di Indonesia yang mengalami stunting sekitar 21,6% pada tahun 2022. Di Jawa Timur sendiri telah menagalami penuruna walaupun masih sedikit yaitu 23,5% tahun 2021 menjadi 19,2%. Walaupun sudah terjadi penurunan tapi penurunan tersebut masih jauh dari target yaitu 14% sehingga perlu adanya pencehagan dan penanganan. Stunting mengindikasikan masalah yang berhubungan dengan meningkatnya resiko morbiditas dan mortalitas, penurunan perkembangan fungsi motorik dan mental serta mengurangi kapasitas fisik. Hal ini sejalan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Pantaleon (2015), terhadap 100 anak berusia 6-23 bulan di Yogyakarta juga menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara stunting dengan perkembangan motorik baduta secara umum (p=0,002) (Pantaleon, 2015). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh anemia dalam kehamilan dan berat lahir bayi terhadap kejadian balita stunting. Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control. Sampel penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki balita usia 3-5 tahun. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 124 responden dan menggunakan perbandingan kasus kontrol 1 : 1. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Analisis data meliputi analisis univariat, dan analisis multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0.120 atau sebesar 12 %, dan hasil uji hipotesis secara simultan nilai Chi-square = 23.437 dengan probabilitas 0.000, yang menunjukkan probabilitas > level of significance (α=5%). Kesimpulannya ada pengaruh anemia dalam kehamilan dan berat lahir bayi yang signifikan terhadap kejadian balita stunting.

Abstract

Background: After the covid-19 pandemic, adolescent Integrated Health Centre (IHC) activities in Sampang Regency decreased drastically, both in quantity and quality. Factors related to this problem are the lack of adolescent participation, accompanied by the lack of ability of adolescent IHC cadres to perform their duties. Adolescent IHC is preventive efforts to prevent incidents of stunting.Objective: The study aimed to measure the effect of "AKSI GERCEPS" training on nutrition knowledge among adolescent IHC cadres in Sampang Regency.Methods: : Study quasi-experimental use one-group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in Sampang Regency in December 2023. The sample consisted of 72 people, selected using a purposive sampling method representing 12 locus villages stunting. The research variable is the effect of "AKSI GERCEPS" training on increasing the nutritional knowledge of adolescent IHC cadres. Data analysis used the T-test.  Results: Mean scores before and after training were significantly different (p=0,000). At the end of the training, the participants' average score increased to 6,58, whereas before the training  was 2,55. The knowledge of adolescent cadres who had previously received nutrition education was also significantly different from that of those who had never received nutrition education (p=0,000). After the training, cadres who had received nutrition education had an average score of 1,78 higher.Conclusion: Cadres knowledge of nutrition increased after the training. Nutrition training for adolescents needs to be carried out continuously, to be able to provide optimal service.

Abstract

Menopause merupakan suatu keadaan fisiologis yang pasti dialami oleh semua wanita, pada masa menopause terjadi peningkatan stres oksidatif karena penurunan hormon estrogen (hipoestrogen). Salah satu organ yang mengalami dampak akibat terjadinya hipoestrogen adalah vagina. Pada vagina terjadi atrofi dan penipisan epitel. Antosianin merupakan salah satu antioksidan yang dapat menyelamatkan sel – sel tubuh dari stres oksidatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan pengaruh antosianin terhadap ketebalan epitel, indeks apoptosis dan ekspresi p53 sel epitel vagina pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) ovariektomi. Desain penelitian ini adalah True Experimental laboratory, dengan menggunakan pendekatan posttest only group control design. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan perlakuan pada hewan coba, yaitu tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) betina. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian antosianin terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan (p-value = 0,000 < α=0,05) dalam menurunkan ekspresi p53 dan indeks apoptosis sel epitel vagina serta meningkatkan ketebalan epitel vagina pada tikus ovariektomi.
