Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are vital to the Indonesian economy, especially in rural areas like Dharmasraya. This community service project aimed to empower MSMEs by building their entrepreneurial capacity through publicly funded training programs. Using a participatory action research approach, a needs assessment was conducted with 100 MSME owners in Dharmasraya to identify challenges and training needs. Based on the findings, workshops and mentoring sessions were designed and delivered, focusing on financial literacy, marketing strategies, digital literacy, and business plan development. The training program significantly improved participants' understanding of key business concepts, including financial management, marketing, and digital tools. Participants also showed increased confidence in managing and growing their businesses. The program fostered a sense of community and peer learning among MSME owners. In conclusion, publicly funded training programs are crucial for building entrepreneurial capacity and empowering MSMEs in Dharmasraya. This initiative highlights the effectiveness of participatory approaches in addressing community needs and fostering sustainable economic development.

Abstract

This community service initiative explores the synergistic relationship between village funds and social capital in empowering communities in Rantau Duku, Jambi, Indonesia. Recognizing the potential of village funds as a catalyst for development and the vital role of social capital in facilitating collective action, this project aimed to enhance community capacity to effectively utilize these resources for local development. This project employed a participatory action research (PAR) approach, involving community members in all stages of the initiative. The intervention included capacity-building workshops on village fund management, participatory planning, and conflict resolution, along with facilitating community dialogues to strengthen social cohesion and trust. The project resulted in increased community participation in village development planning and budgeting processes, improved transparency and accountability in village fund management, and enhanced social cohesion among community members. Several community-led initiatives were successfully implemented, including infrastructure improvements, economic empowerment programs, and social welfare programs. In conclusion, this initiative demonstrates the transformative potential of combining village funds with strong social capital to empower communities. By fostering community ownership and participation, and strengthening social cohesion, this approach can effectively cont ribute to sustainable and equitable development in rural Indonesia.

Abstract

Lubuk Village in Bungo Regency, Jambi, Indonesia, faces a range of potential natural hazards, including floods, landslides, and forest fires. Building community resilience is crucial to mitigate the impact of these disasters. This community service initiative focused on empowering residents of Lubuk Village through a comprehensive disaster preparedness training program. A participatory approach was adopted, involving collaboration with village leaders, community members, and local government agencies. The training program consisted of workshops, simulations, and hands-on activities covering hazard identification, risk assessment, early warning systems, evacuation procedures, first aid, and basic search and rescue techniques. The training program enhanced community awareness of disaster risks and strengthened their capacity to respond effectively to emergencies. Participants demonstrated increased knowledge, improved skills, and greater confidence in their ability to protect themselves and their families during disasters. The initiative also fostered community cohesion and strengthened social networks. In conclusion, community-based disaster preparedness training is an effective public administration intervention for empowering communities to face natural hazards. By equipping residents with knowledge and skills, this initiative contributed to building a more resilient Lubuk Village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence leadership style has on employee performance at KUD Karya Mukti. The data obtained in this study were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 43 respondents and the sampling technique used was total sampling technique. The power analysis used is multiple linear regression and the results of the questionnaire are processed using the SPSS Version 16 program. Based on the results of the assessment that has been carried out, it can be seen that the directive leadership style (XI), supportive leadership style (X2), participatory leadership style (X3), and achievement-oriented leadership style (X4) have an influence on employee performance (Y). This can be proven from the value of R Square which is 0.691% while the remaining 31.9% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This paper is to find out the use of bus terminals in serving passengers by using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and using data collection techniques with interviews, 13 informants with research results Bus terminal utilization of passenger services namely Determining Terminal Locations, arranging terminal supporting facilities, Flow arrangement traffic in the terminal supervision area, scheduling of officers in the terminal and evaluation of the terminal operating system. Obstacles encountered in passenger service to the effectiveness of using bus terminals include traffic facilities and infrastructure are still limited, traffic management has not functioned optimally, passenger public transport services are inadequate. Efforts carried out in the service effectiveness of bus terminal utilization on passenger services, namely Improving the waiting area service and the flow of public vehicles within the terminal, improving service in the arrival and departure of vehicles according to a predetermined schedule, Collecting passenger terminal services and Increasing the current flow settings crossing in the terminal surveillance area

Abstract

The problem of clean water today is a concern in all regions including the Bungo Regency and this study aims to determine the role of the Health Office in the development of community-based water supply and sanitation. By using a descriptive method of qualitative approach and data collection techniques by interviewing informants as many as 17 people. With the results of the study of the Role of the Bungo District Health Office in the Regency of Bungo in evaluating the sources of community-based drinking water supply and the construction of Pamsimas. In accordance with the regulations and main tasks. There are still many community-based sources of drinking water whose quality is beyond the supervision of the Bungo District Health Office. In carrying out the implementation of supervising community-based drinking water supply the Bungo District Health Office is less than optimal, there are barriers such as inadequate human resources, with a less than optimal number of officers, facilities and infrastructure that have not supported good service. Obstacles faced by the Bungo District Health Office, there have been several attempts to overcome constraints, some of which have been carried out such as: Health Office, Applying to Bungo District Regent. In order to issue a circular letter to Rio and Lurah. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance. The research method used is the quantitative method. This type of research is causal associative. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Fresh Prima Like Muara Bungo. And this study uses a saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as samples. The sample of this study was 50 people, and the entire population was sampled. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination test. The data analysis techniques were all tested using SPSS version 25 software. The results of the t test, H1 is accepted, leadership has an influence on employee performance, with a value of Tcount 2.785 T table 2.011 with a significance level of 0.008 0.05. H2 is accepted, organizational culture has an influence on employee performance, with a value of Tcount 2.029 T table 2.011 with a significance level of 0.048 0.05. The results of the f test, H3 is accepted, leadership and organizational culture have an influence on employee performance, with a value of Fcount 10,477 Ftable 3,195 with a significance level of 0.000 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of halal labels and prices on purchasing decisions for MS Glow skincare either partially or simultaneously. by using the Associative method with a quantitative approach. The results obtained are the effect of the halal label on the purchase decision to buy MS Glow Skincare at the MS Glow Maya Store Agent Muara Bungo based on the partial test results obtained that the halal label variable has an effect on purchasing decisions. If the halal label is getting better, the decision to buy MS Glow Skincare will also increase at the MS Glow Maya Store Agent Muara Bungo. The effect of price on purchasing decisions to buy MS Glow Skincare at MS Glow Maya Store Agent Muara Bungo based on the results of the partial test obtained that the price variable has an effect on purchasing decisions. If the price is getting better, the decision to buy MS Glow Skincare Reseller will also increase at the Maya Store Agent Muara Bungo The magnitude of the effect of halal labels and prices on purchasing decisions of MS Glow Skincare Resellers at the Maya Store Agen Muara Bungo based on the results of the coefficient of determination test obtained by 86.3%, while the remaining 13.7% is influenced by other dimensions outside the study.
