The loss of personal data is a serious problem that is becoming more frequent, especially in relation to the publication of data on official websites such as the Supreme Court. This review addresses the issue of loss of personal data due to publication to the Decree Directory Archive in light of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (PDP). The purpose of this study is to analyze how Law No. 27 of 2022 can address the problem of loss of personal data arising from publication on the Supreme Court website. By understanding the existing regulations, it is hoped that a solution can be found to strengthen personal data protection in Indonesia. The approach used is prescriptive and legal, with analysis of current regulations and past data breach cases. Secondary data from legal literature and incident reports are analyzed to provide a comprehensive picture of the problem. Abstract

One of the backgrounds to the birth of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower is because several laws and regulations that have been in effect so far have placed workers in a less advantageous position in the service of manpower placement and the industrial relations system that emphasizes differences in position and interests so that they are considered no longer in accordance with current needs and future demands. The birth of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower is expected to: Uphold the issue of protection and guarantees for workers; Implement various international instruments on ratified labor rights; As a member of the United Nations (UN) uphold and implement the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (HAM). Legal protection has been regulated in: The Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, namely based on Pancasila; The 1945 Constitution, namely Article 27 paragraph 2, Article 28 D paragraph 1, paragraph 2, Article 33 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, and other regulations. Legally, the position of workers is free and balanced, but in practice it is often in an unbalanced state, causing problems. To overcome this, a solution is needed so that it can be accepted by all parties, is felt to be beneficial, has legal certainty and provides protection for all parties.

Abstract

The protection of children and women as vulnerable groups is a constitutional mandate enshrined in Article 28C of the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia, and it reflects both universal human rights principles and the foundational values of Pancasila. This study aims to examine the alignment of national legal norms with universal human rights standards, assess the effectiveness of legal protections afforded to children and women, and identify regulatory and implementation gaps that contribute to structural injustice. Employing a normative-juridical approach and analyzing five case studies of violence, the findings reveal that while Indonesia's legal framework is relatively progressive, its implementation remains hindered by institutional, socio-cultural, and political challenges. The study concludes that legal reform, institutional strengthening, and a more victim-centered legal approach are essential to achieving substantive justice for vulnerable populations. These findings provide important insights for the development of more comprehensive and impactful legal policy frameworks.

Abstract

One of the problems in the judicial system is the provision of false testimony in court. This not only hinders the process of investigating the truth but can also be detrimental to the parties involved, including undermining public trust in the judicial system. Therefore, a witness in a criminal case is required to report what they saw, knew, and heard under oath. The purpose of the trial is to discover the material truth, that is, the truth that actually occurred, in order to achieve justice. As stipulated in Article 242 of the Criminal Code, this act is a criminal offense. In addition to being repressive, enforcing criminal penalties against witnesses who provide false testimony is evidence of an effort to uphold the law and maintain the integrity of the judicial process. The method used is descriptive with a normative juridical research approach. If a witness is proven to have given false testimony, they will be subject to criminal penalties as stipulated in the Criminal Code. Therefore, it is crucial in a trial process to present witnesses whose testimony is credible and whose testimony is believed to be truthful.
