Abstract

This study explores cultural identity in the novel Lusifer Lusifer by Venerdi Handoyo using Jean Francois Lyotard postmodernism approach. Concentrating on the representation of cultural identity in the form of religion, identity deception and masking, cultural adoption, and forms of irony. concentrating on irony in the text, religious representation, identity deception, and cultural adoption. The novel Lusifer Lusifer by Venerdi Handoyo shows how elements of Christian culture influence the daily lives of its characters through family relationships, religious rituals, and spiritual symbols. In this novel, postmodernism is depicted through the perspective that modernism does not meet the needs of humans as a whole and that religion is part of a collective identity, not just a personal belief. The results show that it offers a reflection on the relationship between religion, culture, and identity and criticizes the norms of modern society. The symbols used and adapted by the characters in this work form a cultural identity, depicting the conflict between the influence of modern culture and religious beliefs.

Abstract

Study This aims to describe the domination class ruler to subordinate class. Research data sources This is the first time the novel Laskar Pelangi was published by Andrea Hirata by Bentang Pustaka in 2005. Type study This is descriptive qualitative. The method used was to read, note, classify, and analyze. Research results show that the novel revealed a difference in class between class rulers and subordinates, which gives birth to domination. Domination between class rulers (capital owners) and class subordination (labour) is triggered by several things, like profession, environment, and pattern of life. Race labourers are exploited because of class-decisive ruler standardization in public.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis bentuk-bentuk seksisme yang muncul dalam karya bess seller  Indonesia sebagai representasi ideologi patriarki yang terselubung. Dengan menggunakan teori feminisme radikal Shulamith Firestone. Penelitian ini menggambarkan  tubuh, cinta, dan keluarga sebagai arena utama politik patriarki yang menindas perempuan melalui moralitas, domestifikasi, dan objektifikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis tekstual terhadap narasi, karakter, dan dialog dalam karya terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seksisme hadir melalui tiga bentuk utama: (1) penundukan tubuh perempuan melalui konstruksi cinta dan pengorbanan, (2) simbolisasi perempuan sebagai objek moral dan biologis, serta (3) reproduksi nilai-nilai patriarki melalui bahasa dan citra estetik. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa karya sastra populer tidak hanya merefleksikan realitas sosial, tetapi juga memperkuat ideologi gender yang mapan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memperluas kajian feminisme dalam sastra Indonesia dan mendorong kesadaran kritis terhadap bias gender dalam budaya populer.Kata kunci: seksisme, feminisme radikal, ideologi patriarki, sastra popular

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa bedah buku kumpulan puisi Selama Laut Masih Bergelombang karya Mariati Atkah dilaksanakan bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Angkatan 24. Kegiatan ini bertujuan ganda: pertama, untuk meningkatkan Literasi Maritim mahasiswa terhadap isu-isu kelautan dan kearifan lokal yang terekam dalam puisi; dan kedua, untuk mengembangkan keterampilan apresiasi sastra yang kritis dan terstruktur, khususnya dalam menganalisis genre puisi maritim. Metode pelaksanaan yang diterapkan adalah ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, telaah teks mendalam, dan praktik penulisan ulasan/apresiasi sastra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai unsur-unsur pembentuk puisi, kemampuan mereka dalam menafsirkan simbolisme sastra pesisir, serta keterampilan mereka dalam menyusun esai apresiasi yang runtut. Antusiasme mahasiswa yang tinggi menjadi faktor pendukung utama keberhasilan kegiatan ini. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam hal keterbatasan waktu dan kurangnya pengalaman awal dalam menulis apresiasi, kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan motivasi dan memperkuat kompetensi literasi maritim dan kreativitas mahasiswa di bidang sastra. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model dalam pemanfaatan karya sastra untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kecintaan terhadap budaya maritim.

Abstract

This study aims to interpret the meaning of signs in the lyrics of Tafsir Mistik by Abyan Zaki using Riffaterre’s semiotic approach. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data and data sources of this study consist of heuristic and hermeneutic readings of the lyrics of Tafsir Mistik by Abyan Zaki. Data collection techniques in this research include documentation, reading, and note-taking. The data analysis techniques applied involve data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of this study were obtained through heuristic reading, which refers to reading based on linguistic conventions, and hermeneutic reading, which refers to reading based on literary conventions. The song portrays the struggle of humans within an ambiguous space between birth and death, where they often lose direction and succumb to the illusion of false happiness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of social conflict found in novel Si Anak Pemberani by Tere Liye's based on Lewis A. Coser's theory of social conflict using a literary sociology approach. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research, which aims to interpret data in the form of social conflict discourse that appears in the novel text. The source of data for this research is the novel Si Anak Pemberani by Tere Liye. Data collection techniques were carried out by reading and taking notes. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of identification, classification, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that in this novel there are two forms of social conflict, namely realistic conflict and non-realistic conflict. Realistic conflict arises due to concrete social needs and demands such as livelihood, justice, equality, and environmental sustainability directed at those in power, officials, and mining companies as the source of the problem. Meanwhile, non-realistic conflict arises as a form of emotional venting, such as anger, disappointment, or frustration, which has no clear purpose and is often directed at parties who are made scapegoats. Overall, these two forms of conflict describe the social reality of a society fraught with tension and the struggle against injustice

Abstract

Pelatihan ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan dan pengalaman guru di SMAS YAPIP Sungguminasa tentang pembuatan lembar kerja siswa melalui aplikasi Teachshare AI. Sebanyak 18 guru dilatih membuat akun di Teachshare AI, memulai langkah awal pembuatan lembar kerja, hingga mengunduh lembar kerja yang telah mereka buat. Selain itu, guru-guru juga dilatih membuat rubrik penilaian, dan grafik perkembangan hasil belajar siswa. Meskipun tidak semua peserta berhasil membuat lembar kerja siswa dengan baik, para guru di  SMAS YAPIP Sungguminasa sudah mampu mengetahui langkah-langkah proses pembuatannya.Kata kunci: LKS, guru, Teachshare AI

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the representation of the body, trauma, and voice of Chinese women in Yusiana Basuki's novel Naga Kuning using Helene Cixous' postmodern feminist theory. Set against the backdrop of the May 1998 riots, this novel narrates women's bodies as spaces of historical wounds and sources of symbolic resistance. Through Cixous' concept of ecriture feminine, the writing of women's bodies is a strategy of resistance against patriarchal language. This study applies qualitative descriptive methods with close reading to analyse symbols, bodily metaphors, and linguistic rhythms that describe women's experiences as subjects who write themselves. The results show that the body in Naga Kuning represents the trauma of sexual violence and ethnic Chinese, as well as the local transformation from an object of power to a powerful subject through writing the body. The poetic, fragmentary, and emotional language in this novel reflects the practice of ecriture feminine, which liberates women's voices from phallocentric hegemony. This novel presents the female body as an aesthetic and political space for healing, memory, and post-traumatic identity formation.

Abstract

His study will describe the collective unconsciousness of archetypes in the character of Susi in the novel Kejatuhan dan Hati by Siti Roekiah. This study will use a descriptive qualitative method with data sources in the form of narrative and dialogue quotations that show four archetypes in the character of Susi. Data collection will be carried out using the observation and note-taking technique, which involves reading the data sources thoroughly, then recording the narrative and dialogue data in the novel. The collected data will then be entered into a data classification table for analysis through Jung's psychological perspective.The results of this study found that Susi's Persona is her true self when she has to behave according to her mother's wishes. Then, Susi's Shadow began to emerge when she realized that her mother had gone too far by forcing her to marry, followed by her Animus when Susi decided to join a movement that changed her into a personality that was very different from her former self. However, Susi never achieves Self within herself by the end of the novel because she remains bound by her ego.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut guru memiliki kemampuan literasi media dan penulisan kreatif agar dapat beradaptasi dengan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Namun sebagian guru di SMP Amannagappa Makassar masih menghadapi kendala dalam memanfaatkan media digital secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam penulisan dan literasi media digital melalui pelatihan berbasis aplikasi Canva. Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik langsung, pendampingan, dan evaluasi hasil karya. Sebanyak 20 guru mengikuti pelatihan dengan antusias dan mampu menghasilkan berbagai produk pembelajaran digital berupa poster, infografis, serta presentasi interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan guru dalam menulis konten edukatif yang komunikatif dan mendesain media pembelajaran yang menarik serta relevan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan ini juga membangkitkan kesadaran pentingnya kolaborasi antarguru dan literasi digital dalam menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang kreatif dan adaptif.
