Abstract

This study aims to examine the halal business opportunities and challenges in Indonesia pasca pandemi COVID-19. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by using documentation data in the form of books, reports from official institutions such as BPS, OJK, BI, Ministry of Trade, Kemenpan and scientific journals. The results of a study of several literatures found that Indonesia actually has a huge opportunity to become the center of the world’s halal business. This can be seen from several indicators between the high level of the Muslim population and the high level of consumption. However, the attitude of business actors who tend to be unaware, pursue more profits, lack of government attention, protect business players more than consumers, the low public response to halal products is a major obstacle. The main solution is to accelerate the application of the JPH (Halal product guarantee) Law as a legal umbrella, awareness of entrepreneurs and business people, by making halal certification a part of excellent service, and community support.

Abstract

Abstract:This  study  was  conducted  to  explore  more  about  the  role  of  Batam fishing  communities  in  developing economic potential so as to improve the quality of life of fishing communities. This research was conducted at the Kelompok Nelayan Abadi, with 20 members of the fishing community of childbearing age, with fixtures and fittings are traditional fishing. This study uses qualitative research methods types of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). This method is used to get information from the community and the parties participating in community empowerment. The results showed that the fishing community empowerment can be realized in the form of giving confidence for the development of local capabilities on the basis of local needs. Strengthening the role of the fishing communities as agents of development can be done through mentoring programs, in addition to the development of the organization, the network economy, and other supporting factors. Through community development efforts so that fishing communities have the opportunity to escape poverty and backwardness towards a better life.Abstrak:Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang peran masyarakat nelayan Batam dalam mengembangkan potensi ekonomi sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat nelayan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Kelompok Nelayan Abadi,yakni pada 20 anggota masyarakat nelayan usia produktif, dengan perlengkapan dan peralatan melaut yang tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif tipe Participatory  Rural  Appraisal (PRA). Metode ini dipergunakan untuk menggali informasi dari masyarakat dan pihak-pihak yang berpartisipasi dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan dapat diwujudkan dalam bentuk memberikan kepercayaan demi berkembangnya kemampuan-kemampuan lokal atas dasar kebutuhan setempat. Penguatan peran serta masyarakat nelayan sebagai pelaku pembangunan dapat dilakukan melalui programprogram pendampingan, di samping melalui pengembangan organisasi, ekonomi jaringan, dan faktor-faktor pendukung lainnya. Melalui usaha pemberdayaan masyarakat yang demikian itu, masyarakat nelayan memiliki peluang untuk bebas dari kemiskinan dan keterbelakangan menuju kehidupan yang lebih baik.Pengutipan: Wibowo, H., Bahri, E. Abstract

Zakat funds are a mandate of Allah SWT that must be distributed to mustahiq. This study aims to measure the feasibility of a village to be assisted by using zakat funds. The method used is a qualitative method using the Village Zakat Index (IDZ) model. The IDZ measurement includes five dimensions: economy, health, education, humanity, and dakwah. The research was conducted at Curug Depok. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and expert judgment consisting of village officials, RT, and the community. The results showed that the IDZ value in Curug was categorized as functional with a score of 0.79. This finding indicates that Cukug is not prioritized to be assisted by zakat funds. The dimensions with the lowest IDZ value are the economic and human dimensions of 0.61 and 0.78. This data shows that zakat institutions can implement empowerment programs focusing on economic and humanitarian programs.

Abstract

Approximately 1.4 billion of the world's population lives on less than USD 1 per day, and since 50% of the poorest people are in Muslim countries, the solution is to increase successful Muslim entrepreneurs. Hence, this study aims to create a conceptual model through a literature review and descriptive-qualitative approach. These were employed to determine the indicators of successful Muslim entrepreneurs and the expected factors required to provide a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, four factors and indicators, each considered to influence successful Muslim entrepreneurs, were identified. Subsequently, the results obtained were conceptual papers and hypotheses that required testing to ensure correctness. It was also used to produce new constructs validated for the individuals and communities of Muslim entrepreneurs. Therefore, this conceptual model is hoped to motivate new, future research and has also been enhanced as a pioneer that has attempted to construct a model for successful Muslim entrepreneurs. Finally, a conceptual model was created, which is the initial contribution to solving poverty among the Muslim population in the world.

Abstract

The activity of livestock village Nusantara “Kampung Ternak Nusantara” is focused on the empowerment to the poor cattleman by utilizing zakat funds. This research is aimed to determine the empowerment pattern of the poor cattlemanas well as the supporting and obstacle factors. It is a descriptive qualitative research. The data are collected by doing interviews, observations and documentations. The results show that the pattern empowerment to the poor cattleman, are dividedinto 3 stages. They are 1) the empoweringgoal setting,2) the process implementation of the empowerment 3) the resultsimplementation of empowerment. The empowerment supporting factors include; society environment, hard work and the cattleman effort. While, the obstacle factors include: the difficultyfeedingto the livestock whenthe dry season, knowledge and the skill of the cattleman who have not been optimized yet

Abstract

National Amil Zakah Board has a big responsibility to hold the trust of government and society to zakah management in Indonesia. The problem is how the financial performance of National Amil Zakah Agency? This study aims to assess the financial performance of zakah institutions by using financial performance measurement ratio model from Ritchie & Kolodinsky (2003) research for non-profit organizations. The object used in this research is the financial report of Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) during the period 2004 to 2013. The components of the ratio used are five ratio of Ritchie & Kolodinsky model. Based on Ritchie & Kolodinsky ratios, these five ratios show BAZNAS's financial performance over the last decade well expressed.

Abstract

Non-profit organizations as the institute for public sector own functions and usefulness of providing facilities to the public by using wealth awarded by benefactors or society. But these functions cannot take place in good if rules out the importance of public management system. Among them is application of public accountability and transparency, especially for financial statements. Transparency indicates accountability form addressed to the foundation’s donors. Donors can be relied upon that trust and activities in organization can run continuously. These characteristics make the non-profit organization can not release itself from interests community area. This study will test related to the influence of public accountability and transparency from financial statements toward donors in PPPA Daarul Qur’an Nusantara Foundation. This test is quantitative research with multiple regression statistical analysis. The statistical result shows that at the same time (simultaneously), public accountability and transparency financial statements have a positive effect towarddonors trust. However, in partial or separate variable, public accountability does not have an influence toward trust of Donors. While the transparency of financial statement has influenced significantly.

Abstract

Zakat is a duty ordered directly by Allah in the Qur'an. Zakat is well managed and able to empower mustahik as well as be a solution in alleviating poverty. The focus of this research is how to describe productive zakat as a micro business work capital and what are the benefits of productive zakat as working capital for mustahik? The purpose of this research is to dig deeper the model of productive utilization of zakat as working capital of micro business. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach that describes a condition or fact finding with appropriate interpretation. The results of this study indicate that zakat institutions that apply the productive zakat model as a micro business work capital to be hope in improving social status mustahik be muzaki. Zakat as working capital is beneficial for empowering micro business, improving micro business business, growing spirit, improving ability and skill and entrepreneurship. Viewed from the socio-economic aspects of zakat can encourage the growth of the weak economy by increasing their purchasing power to increase employment and micro business income. Viewed from the moral-spiritual aspect of zakat is a means to increase obedience and servitude to God. Thus the productive zakat model as working capital becomes an effective way to alleviate poverty.

Abstract

The National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN MUI) is an independent institution that plays a role in providing sharia lawyer arrangements. DSN MUI makes a fatwa to regulate the process of asset turnover in community life. DSN MUI formulates the consideration of fatwa akad sharia transaction using the concept of scientific method based on the guidance of fiqh scholars. This study aims to describe the consideration of DSN MUI in determining the fatwa of sharia transaction contracts. Based on this study, the consideration of fatwa akad Islamic transactions aims to benefit the people using the concept of nash qath'i approach refers to Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadist. Consideration in determining fatwas based on benefits and impacts that will occur when a fatwa is determined or not determined.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tinjauan zakat perusahaan dilihat dari sudut pandang syariah dan regulasi di Indonesia serta penerapannya di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana tinjauan zakat perusahaan perspektif syariah dan perspektif regulasi di Indonesia serta penerapan zakat perusahaan di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah studi pustaka, yaitu dengan mengkaji sekaligus mengumpulkan hasil penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang senada dengan tema penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari perspektif syariah, zakat perusahaan di-qiyas-kan dengan zakat perdagangan, dari perspektif regulasi, zakat perusahaan diatur secara umum dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2011 tetapi tidak ada peraturan secara khusus yang dikeluarkan dari Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) yang berupa Fatwa Dewan Syariah Nasional. Sedangkan implementasi zakat perusahaan sendiri di Indoneisa menunjukkan perkembangan yang menggembirakan karena sudah ada beberapa perusahaan yang melaksanakannya.
