Abstract

This short communication study reports the first report of the latest condition of long-tailed macaques in Logending Beach (Pantai Logending), Indonesia. Observations were carried out in August 2021. The observation location is close to several community stalls selling around the beach and the leading portal to enter the Logending Beach area. The long-tailed macaque found by observers is still within a distance (<1 km) from the primary forest bordering the Logending Beach. Several long-tailed macaque individuals encountered during the findings and field observations may be separated from the leading group. The body condition of some long-tailed macaques found during the observation seems to be quite good, but the findings have been that there has been human-primate interaction in the form of provisioning food. These observations and findings are still not sufficient to prove the original habitat of long-tailed macaques, so to prove the size of the long-tailed macaque group in Logending Beach and its surroundings, further research is needed as well as to confirm the food diet and anthropogenic influences that occur between long-tailed macaques and residents around at Logending Beach.

Abstract

Energy is something that people need every day. One of the energies that are glorified to meet people's energy needs is electrical energy. The need for electrical energy in Indonesia continues to increase in line with economic growth and the increasing population. One of the components of electric power that is useful for delivering electric current to transmission networks is a substation. With the feasibility of techno-economic, it is possible to know the feasibility of the quality of an electric power system based on financial analysis. This paper provides a mini-review of the techno-economy of substation electricity and its maintenance in several regions in Indonesia today. The research stages consist of literature study, identification of article titles, article abstract screening, complete article selection, and mini-review reviews. Several studies are still not widely applied to the calculation of the cost of energy consumption to customers. In addition, the basic cost of providing electricity, the profit from electricity sales, and the payback period method need to be improved in research related to the techno-economic analysis of electrical energy. It is important to do this to determine the potential feasibility and the estimated advantages and disadvantages of an electric power system.

Abstract

Electroplating uses aluminum material, where it’s easy to obtain, lighter, and cheaper than other metals. The research goal was to determine the ability of the electric current to power aluminum (Al) coated with silver (Ag) by the electroplating method, to determine the effect of the magnitude of the electric current and the length of time the coating process took on the weight of Al coated with Ag and to determine the strength of the metal Al after tested using Brinnell test. The method used is to compare pure Al and pure Al coated with Ag by electroplating at different currents to determine the effect of the electroplating process. A Brinnell test was carried out to determine the hardness of the Al material after electroplating. The results are the amount of current that flows during the electroplating is directly proportional to the thickness of the electroplating layer attached to the Al surface. If the electroplating process uses a large current, the attached layer will look rough and not smooth, which also affects the material testing by using the Brinnell method. The Brinnell test proves that the hardness value of the Al material is directly proportional to the thickness of the layer.

Abstract

Talent management is a factor that determines success in the business environment because talent management requires quantitative and qualitative skills. This study aims to implement the certainty factor (CF) method of an expert system for employee development talent management. This research using a certainty factor (CF) method to design an expert system framework. Due to the focus on our research aim, we provide a certainty factor calculation with mathematical modeling for calculating talent management employee development in X Company. The confidence level is 93.55% for a recommendation of not promotion of the job; for 52.38% is a recommendation that can be proposed for promotion, but HRD will evaluate in some time; for 98.73% is a recommendation for promotion of the job. We used CF calculation that can provide the level of confidence (in %). The calculation of the certainty factor (CF) method can be used for recommending job promotion in some companies.

Abstract

The cynomolgus macaque (Macaca fascicularis) is a primate species that socially lives in many adult males and females. The number of individuals in each troop (group size) is different. Long-tailed macaque habitats were found in several locations in Banyumas Regency, reported to be in Mount Slamet, Cikakak-Wangon, Kalisalak-Kebasen, and the Dieng Mountains. This review article will explain the group size of long-tailed macaques whose habitat is in several Banyumas Regencies, Central Java, Indonesia. The results are in a group size of long-tailed macaque in Banyumas Regency varied and consisted of several troops. Further research is needed to determine the cause of the distribution of long-tailed macaques found in several areas in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

Teknologi virtual reality sejatinya telah banyak diterapkan di beberapa sektor industri seperti kedokteran, penerbangan, pendidikan, arsitek, militer, hiburan dan lain sebagainya. Virtual reality sangat membantu dalam menyimulasikan sesuatu yang sangat sulit untuk dihadirkan secara langsung dalam dunia nyata seperti dalam penerbangan. Studi ini meringkas penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi virtual reality dalam bidang penerbangan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan metode mini-review article, penelitian diawali dari studi literatur, identifikasi judul, screening abstrak, seleksi artikel full-text, dan ulasan mini-review. Hasil studi mini-review ini berupa pemanfaatan teknologi virtual reality dapat digunakan untuk keperluan pelatihan, simulasi, kesehatan, penilaian, dan evaluasi yang berhubungan dengan bidang penerbangan.

Abstract

Ikan merupakan komoditas akuatik yang mengandung protein-protein esensial. Pelaku budidaya akuakultur ikan khususnya, tidak selalu lancar dalam usaha budidayanya, karena pasti suatu saat ikan akan mengalami gangguan penyakit, baik infeksius maupun non-infeksius. Penyakit pada ikan dapat disebabkan oleh bakteri, virus, jamur, dan parasit. Metode penelitian dimulai dari studi literatur penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan. Analisis data mengalkulasi certainty factor (CF), kemudian didesain SDLC dengan tipe waterfall, desain activity diagram dan use case diagram. Hasil penerapan metode certainty factor (CF) untuk sistem pakar dalam diagnosis penyakit-penyakit ikan yang disebabkan oleh parasit dapat diterapkan untuk 12 penyakit dengan tingkat kepercayaan di atas 95%.

Abstract

Sejumlah pelanggan PLN mengeluhkan akan kenaikan tagihan listrik pada awal Juli 2020. Sejak awal Julilalu, banyak keluhan masyarakat tentang naiknya tagihan listrik selagi pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia.Skema tagihan listrik ini menggunakan 40% pada Bulan Juni 2020, yang kemudian baru dibayarkansecara bertahap pada Bulan Juli, Agustus, September. Adanya kenaikan tagihan dikarenakan perubahanperilaku masyarakat yang menggunakan listrik selama pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian kuantitatifdengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara random sampling. Hasil sebanyak 137 orang yang mengalamikenaikan tagihan (90,5%) dengan 67,9% responden merupakan pelanggan prabayar, dan kenaikan tagihanlistrik yang diakibatkan oleh aktivitas-aktivitas yang lebih mengkonsumsi daya listrik yakni lebih seringberada di depan komputer/laptop dan terhubung ke internet sebanyak 28,5%, menonton TV/Filmsebanyak 11,7%, membuka platform daring multimedia sebanyak 9.5%. Nilai skala ordinal dari perilakuyang tergolong dalam kategori lebih banyak menggunakan energi listrik cukup berpengaruh terhadaptagihan listrik (kategori A1) 2,883 yang berarti cukup. Perlunya kesadaran masyarakat akan upaya-upayauntuk menghemat energi listrik selama pandemi Covid-19 (Work from Home) dan agar selalu melakukanpengecekan berkala pada penggunaan listrik di rumah.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang kian hari semakin meningkat membuat banyak rumah sakit harus menyediakan fasilitas perawatan bagi pasien Covid-19. Provinsi Jawa Tengah di Indonesia termasuk daerah dengan kasus 151.302 orang terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 per 24 Februari 2021. Wilayah BARLINGMASCAKEB berada di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Artikel ini berusaha memberikan pendekatan postulat jarak terdekat rumah sakit rujukan Covid-19 di wilayah BARLINGMASCAKEB dengan Haversine Formula. Metode penelitian terdiri atas data, kalkulasi jarak terdekat dalam kilometer (nilai D), validasi nilai D dengan dibandingkan Google Maps , dan diakhiri penyusunan postulat. Penerapan Haversine Formulauntuk menentukan jarak terdekat rumah sakit rujukan Covid-19 di wilayah Kabupaten Banjarnegara, Purbalingga, Banyumas, Cilacap, Kebumen (BARLINGMASCAKEB) dapat diterapkan untuk 41 rumah sakit rujukan Covid-19 dan sebanyak 27 jarak terdekat berdasarkan perhitungan persamaan Haversine Formula , dengan menghasilkan postulat kesatu {D ∈ ℝ | D ≤ 5} dan postulat kedua {D ∈ ℝ | 5 <D ≤ 25} di wilayah BARLINGMASCAKEB, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia.

Abstract

On May 27, 2021, Indonesia has started using the fifth-generation digital device known as 5G and officially launched in Indonesia. Currently, Indonesian people are still specifically familiar with third generation (3G) and fourth (4G) network services, and this type of 4G service is still completely unreachable in several locations in Indonesia, especially outside Java. The development of fifth generation (5G) technology in Indonesia is still not widely studied. This study aims to review of strengths and weaknesses of 5G technology in Indonesia.
