The independent variables were age, gender, years of service, unit section, education level, and marital status, while the dependent variable was psychosocial hazard awareness. Results: The results showed that 57.1% of respondents had a good level of awareness of psychosocial hazards. Chi-square analysis showed a significant relationship between age (p=0.006), working period (p=0.002), education level (p=0.020), and marital status (p=0.043) and the level of awareness of psychosocial hazards, while gender and work unit showed no significant relationship. The results of the multivariate test with multiple logistic regression revealed the most significant factors, namely age (0.004) and education level (0.020).Conclusion: This awareness was important to prevent fatigue and mental disorders. Abstract

Periodontal disease is a disease characterized by inflammation and degeneration of the soft tissues and bone supporting the teeth. The accumulation of plaque, tartar and calculus bacteria on the teeth is a local factor and the main cause of periodontal disease. Environmental factors also indirectly affect the incidence of periodontal disease. Geographic information systems (GIS) are tools used to work with data that has information about location. The research method used is descriptive observational with cross sectional design to determine the spread of periodontal disease based on determinant factors in Genuk Community Health Center Working Area, Semarang City. The study population comprised individuals diagnosed with periodontal disease at the Genuk Community Health Center. A simple random sampling technique, a probability sampling method, was used. The sample size, determined using the Slovin Formula, consisted of 92 respondents. Data collection involved questionnaires completed by participants and direct observation of oral hygiene. Spatial data, specifically coordinates of periodontal disease locations, were recorded using ArcGIS Earth Geographic Information System software. In light of the fact that no analogous studies have been carried out in this area, this research is projected to yield beneficial information regarding the dissemination of periodontal disease according to its determinants within the service area of the Genuk Community Health Center. The results of the research show that the spread of periodontal disease in the Genuk Community Health Center working area is uneven, with Genuksari Village having the highest number of cases and Terboyo Kulon Village having the lowest number of cases with majority of respondents consume artesian water as their main water source.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction regarding oral health services is defined as the difference between the patient's view of the services they receive and their expectations of these services. Communication is one of the factors that contribute to increasing the level of patient satisfaction. Meanwhile, communication problems are often a patient complaint as 35%-40% of patients are not satisfied when consulting with a doctor. Analyzing the relationship between patient satisfaction and the provision of communication, information, and education carried out by dental profession students at the Dental and Oral Hospital of Muhammadiyah University, Semarang. Method: This type of research is observational with cross sectional design. The population is 101 consisting of dental professional student patients. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The independent variables are the provision of IEC, age, gender, and level of professional students and the dependent variable is patient satisfaction. The questionnaire to measure patient satisfaction and the provision of IEC was taken from previous studies and has been proofread. Validity testing was conducted using expert judgment, with heterotrait-monotrait (HTMT) ratios below 0.9, and the reliability test using Cronbach's alpha yielded a result of 0.7. Ethical approval has been obtained and data collection involves informed consent and questionnaire interviews. Data analysis was carried out with univariate and bivariate using rank spearman correlation and Chi-square. There is a relationship between the provision of IEC with patient satisfaction (p = 0.000). there is no relationship between age (p = 0.840), gender (p = 1.000) and the level of professional students (0.260) with patient satisfaction. the results of patient satisfaction at RSGM Unimus assessed by patients have very satisfactory results. Maintaining and improving patient satisfaction is needed by RSGM to achieve maximum service quality. There is a relationship between the provision of communication, information, and education with patient satisfaction.
