Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between student learning outcomes in mathematics using the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning model and the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model. The research method is descriptive quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach, and a two-group posttest only control design. Samples were taken by means of convenience sampling. The data collection technique is a test instrument by looking at the learning outcomes. The results and findings, based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test, obtained that t count is greater than t table of 3.179> 1.995 with a significance level of 0.05. These findings are supported by the calculation of learning outcomes for experimental class I using the Student Team Achievement Divisions method with the average value is 70.01, this shows a higher value than the experimental class II which uses the Team Assisted Individualization method which averages 66.90. The conclusion is that there are differences in the learning outcomes of students who are taught using the Student Team Achievement Divisions model with students who are taught using the Team Assisted Individualization learning model. The Student Team Achievement Divisions learning model produces higher learning outcomes and is recommended to be used in teaching all mathematics materials at all levels

Abstract

This study uses a form of analysis with a qualitative descriptive technique. This study involved final year students who were late in completing their thesis. This research was conducted online due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In this study, researchers used accidental sampling technique. Accidental sampling is a sampling technique based on chance. Methods of data collection using the questionnaire method. The results showed that students in working on the thesis encountered many obstacles in internal factors, namely self-control, self-efficacy, and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how students critical thinking ability who study with probing-prompting and conventional learning models are. This research is a quantitatif research with a quasi-experimental design group. The research population was all students of class X SMK Setih Setio 2 Muara Bungo, Jambi. The research sample consisted of two classes with a sample size of 62 people determined by simple random sampling, namely X MM as the control class using the conventional learning model and X AK as the experimental class using the Probing-Prompting learning model. Requirements analysis test has been carried out so that the data obtained are not normally distributed and not homogeneous. The hypotheses were analyzed using the U-Mann Whitney test at a significant level of α=0,05. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing, it was found that: (1) there were differences in students' critical thinking skills taught using probing-prompting and conventional learning models, and (2) there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills taught by using probing-prompting and conventional models.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze students' difficulties in problem-solving in arithmetic sequences and series. The subject of this research is a student at SMA HKBP Lintongnihuta. This research approach is descriptive quantitatively. The types of students' difficulties experienced were analyzed based on Polya's stages of problem-solving. The results of this research are three categories of students based on achievement scores, namely the low category with a percentage of 50%, the medium category with a percentage of 30%, and the high category with a percentage of 20%. There are 4 types of difficulties experienced by students, that is: (1) difficulty in understanding the problem with the number of students experiencing it as much as 28%, (2) students' difficulties in planning problem solving with the number of students experiencing it as much as 11%, (3) students' difficulties in carrying out the plan in problem-solving with the number of students experiencing it as much as 12%, and (4) difficulty in looking back at answers with the number of students experiencing it as much as 8%. The type of difficulty that most students experience is in understanding the problem.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the readiness and difficulty of photographing and to improve research and publications of lecturers in Jakarta through lecturers at the Indonesian Christian University (UKI). Research is one of the indicators of the tridarma that must be carried out by lecturers throughout Indonesia, including lecturers at UKI. One proof of its performance is its publication in international and nationally reputable journals. Because research has a maximum dual effect and contributes to policy making in institutions. Allegedly there was a time when there were absolutely no lecturers who ran the administration of Academic Position. To become a superior university, one of the determining indicators is evidenced by the number of lecturers with the highest Academic Position. Data were obtained from secondary data and primary data as well as filling out questionnaires addressed to lecturers in the UKI environment. Data were collected from 102 respondents from 33 study programs. The results, which include lecturer research data and observations for the last four years from 2017 - 2020, show an increase in the number of publications in reputable and local international and national journals, although the results are comparable between the number of lecturers and publications. The backwardness of the publication of scientific journals of national and international repute can only be achieved if each lecturer conducts a scientific study and is published in accordance with the UKI Research and Community Service (LPPM) program, that each lecturer has the opportunity to conduct research twice a year, both independent research and research research group.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektifan modul turunan dilengkapi model cooperative learning. Pada sekolah menegah atas (SMA) ada materi yang sulit dipahami yaitu turunan. Rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi turunan diakibatkan, guru tidak memiliki modul. Fakta lain adalah peserta didik tidak menguasai definisi 71.42%, konsep 71.42%, prinsip 57.14% dan skill 42.85%. Rata-rata hasil belajar yang diperoleh peserta didik dalam materi turunan di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Guru Berpendapat 80% peserta didik rendah hasil belajar materi turunan. Menurut peserta didik 90% kesulitan dan 85% nilai rendah dalam turunan. Metode penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D) di sekolah menegah atas (SMA) Yadika 11. Sampel penelitian 29 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data, instrumen ahli materi, guru dan peserta didik serta tes. Analisis dengan validasi, mengukur praktis dan efektif produk. Hasil, Pada tahap validasi ahli materi, guru dan peserta didik, penilaian rata-rata semua komponen modul adalah 91, 72%, 92, 42% dan 95, 90% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada ujicoba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar nilai rata-rata tes 86, 25 dan 87, 20. Kesimpulan, hasil belajar peserta didik menginterpretasikan modul yang disusun, divalidasi dan diujicobakan, mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan, praktis dan efektif

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the efficacy of social media as an alternative to using Online Learning Media to add new knowledge and information and assist with assignments, particularly for technical matters, at Allodia Vocational High School Bekasi City during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is currently underway. This study employs a research and development strategy, with research instruments consisting of a validation questionnaire and a product attractiveness rating questionnaire delivered in the form of a Google form. The findings revealed that students' use of social media as a learning medium was quite beneficial. This could be because practically all students have social media profiles and are therefore highly familiar with them. According to the study findings, the practicality of teaching materials uploaded on social media is very possible, according to 75% of media presentation experts, 82% of material experts, and 70% of linguists. As a result, adopting social media as a learning medium throughout the COVID-19 period is highly beneficial.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the form of readiness in implementing the Merdeka Campus Curriculum. Many difficulties were experienced by students when learning online, namely 85.71% had difficulty understanding the concepts and 14% the principles used. This fact does not stand alone. The results of a survey of 120 students showed that 90% of the educators had difficulty implementing the material. There are 8 implementation programs at State Universities and Private Universities in Indonesia that are being implemented. This aims to involve students and lecturers in collaborating with schools and industry online and face to face. However, it is not yet known the impact on the positive. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a constructivist paradigm. Data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and distribution of instruments. The object is the university that organizes it and the subject is students and lecturers. The results of the study show that the implementation still varies because there are study programs that have implemented it and some that have not, because there are still obstacles, both internal and external. Universities need to provide adequate facilities, infrastructure and applications to implement the program. The Study Program also needs to prepare qualified lecturers in handling the courses offered. The conclusion in the research needs to be increased and active activities in each Study Program

Abstract

ABSTRAK Guru sebagai tenaga pendidik disekolah diharapkan memiliki kompetensi sesuai dengan Undang-undang No. 14 Tahun 2005 Tentang Guru dan Dosen Pasal 10 pasal 1 mengungkapkan guru harus memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi profesional. Pengabdian  kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan disalah satu sekolah penggerak angkatan pertama di kabupaten Karawang yaitu SMAN 6, PKM dalam bentuk pelatihan tersebut dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan yang dilakukan selama 2 hari pada tanggal 13-15 Juli 2022. Pelaksanaan pelatihan guru dimulai dari kebutuhan kepala sekolah SMAN 6 Karawang yang menceritakan terdapat kebingungan tenaga pendidik disekolah tersebut terhadap pengoptimalan tehnologi digital dalam kegiatan pembelajaran disekolah secara khusus terhadap penerapan kurikulum merdeka yang telah diadopsi sekolah sejak 2021. Kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan di SMAN 6 Karawang sangat membantu guru memasuki tahun ajaran baru, pengembangan kemampuan guru merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan sekolah terhadap kebutuhan tenaga pendidik disekolah tersebut. Kata Kunci: Stres, Kompetensi Guru, Sekolah Penggerak ABSTRACT Teachers as educators in schools are expected to have competence in accordance with Law no. 14 of 2005 Tebtang Teachers and Lecturers Article 10 article 1 states that teachers must have pedagogic competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence. Abstract

Survei tahun 2021, hasil belajar siswa pelajaran Matematika rendah, dengan luaran 60, 47 dan tuntas hanya 50%. Fakta lain, hasil evaluasi semester genap 2021/2022, rata-rata hasil belajar 58, 22. Dari 35 ada 20 siswa rata-rata 16,5 dan 5 siswa rata-rata 49, artinya 25 dari 35 orang bermasalah. Rendahnya hasil belajar ini perlu segera diketahui letak hambatan dan kesulitan guru. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui kesulitan guru saat implementasi matematika kurikulum merdeka belajar. Keberhasilan tidak terlepas dari 1) guru mempersiapkan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, 2) kemampuan mengajar, 3) Cara Menilai. 4) Perubahan Perilaku. 5) Evaluasi. Metode penelitian dengan Mixed method. Subjek adalah guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, pengamatan, wawancara, dokumentasi dan instrumen. Teknik Analisis, 1) Pengumpulan data, 2) Reduksi Data, 3) Data Display, 4) Data Verification. Hasil, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran tidak lengkap, indikator penilaian siswa kurang jelas. Guru Tidak menyusun materi. Rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dinilai 59, 86% sesuai dan 40, 14% tidak sesuai. Kemampuan guru mengajar 58, 63% setuju dan 41, 37% tidak setuju. Cara penilaian 55, 10% setuju dan 44, 90% tidak setuju dan evaluasi 62, 20%. Kesimpulan, rendahnya hasil belajar dikarenakan kurang lengkap rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), materi dan model tidak dirancang sesuai kemampuan dasar siswa.
