Abstract

Abstrak: Indonesia sedang mengalami darurat kekerasan (fisik, mental hingga seksual). Korbannya tak hanya dari usia remaja hingga dewasa, namun juga menyerang anak usia dini. PAUD Miracle Kids yang merupakan mitra pengabdian, baik siswa maupun pengajar, belum pernah memperoleh pendidikan pencegahan kekerasan. Oleh karenanya, fokus kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan guru terkait pencegahan kekerasan pada anak usia dini. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan kepada 6 orang guru, materi yang diberikan yakni pencegahan kekerasan seksual kepada para guru. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan: pra penyuluhan, penyuluhan dan pasca penyuluhan. .Hasil evaluasi pengetauhan menggunakan kuesioner menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan guru,yakni sebesar 60% tingkat pengetahuan guru pada kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif atas pemberian penyuluhan pencegahan kekerasan kepada guru. Bahkan dari evaluasi yang dilakukan, para guru telah memberikan pendidikan pencegahan kekerasan kepada siswa PAUD selama kegiatan pengajaran maupun pengasuhan. Harapannya dengan meningkatknya pengetahuan para guru, mereka dapat menanamkan rasa kewaspadaan akan tindak kekerasan kepada para siswa.Abstract: Indonesia is experiencing a violence emergency both physical, mental, and sexual violence. The victims are not only from adolescence to adulthood but also attack early childhood. PAUD Miracle Kids, which is a service partner for both students and teachers, has never received Violence Prevention Education. So the service team provided counseling on preventing sexual violence to PAUD Miracle Kids teachers. In addition, education in early childhood plays an important role in shaping children's character, so it is the right time to fortify children with education on preventing violence in early childhood. Counseling activities were carried out using the counseling method with 6 teachers, and all of them actively participated in the counseling activities. The activities were carried out in 3 stages: pre-counseling, counseling, and post-counseling. The results obtained were an increase in teacher knowledge about efforts to prevent violence. This shows positive results from providing counseling to teachers on avoiding violence. Even after the evaluation, the teachers provided violence prevention education to PAUD students during teaching and care activities.

Abstract

Consistency in service skills is crucial for athlete development and performance. This study evaluated the consistency of overhand serve skills in volleyball among students in the Sports Coaching Education program at the Faculty of Sport Science, State University of Malang, focusing on indoor volleyball. The descriptive method was employed to gather data using the AAHPER Youth Fitness Test. The findings indicated that most participants exhibited moderate to low proficiency in volleyball overhand serving performance, with 39.44% classified as "Fair" and 33.10% as "Poor." The average performance score was 2.45, with a standard deviation of 0.97, signifying considerable range in students' skill levels. These findings suggest that students' consistency in volleyball overhand service skills is still evolving and highlight the necessity of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical execution. A well-organized curriculum enhances training consistency, communication proficiency, and player involvement. This research significantly contributes to coaching education by highlighting the necessity of practice-based learning methodologies to enhance volleyball serve proficiency, adequately prepare future coaches, and ultimately elevate athlete performance in competitive environments.

Abstract

Background: Prevalensi merokok di Kota Malang cukup tinggi yang didominasi remaja usia 15-24 tahun. Universitas Negeri Malang memiliki program yang integrasi komponen pendidikan dalam program kampus hijau dapat mendukung upaya antirokok lebih lanjut. Program FRESH (Fighting for a Respiratory-Enhanced Smoke-free and Healthy Green Campus) dilaksanakan sebagai upaya peningkatan kesadaran remaja terhadap bahaya NAPZA, khususnya rokok, melalui pendekatan edukatif di lingkungan SMK Negeri 2 Malang yang berdekatan dengan Universitas Negeri Malang sebagai kampus hijau berkelanjutan. Metode: Terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monitoring dan evaluasi dan melalui tiga pendekatan yaitu tes awal (pretest), diskusi pemberian materi dan tes akhir (posttest). Hasil: Hasil nilai rata pretest 61,17 kemudian meningkat menjadi 80,07 pada hasil posttest. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian di SMK Negeri 2 Malang terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tentang bahaya dan dampak merokok sebanyak 18,90%, disertai deklarasi sekolah bebas asap rokok dan pembentukan SATGAS antirokok untuk mendukung lingkungan sehat dan program kampus hijau Universitas Negeri Malang.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent reproductive health remains a major concern in Indonesia due to the increasing prevalence of risky sexual behavior and low reproductive health literacy among students. Teachers play a strategic role in delivering comprehensive reproductive health education (RHE) within the school environment.Objective: This study aimed to assess changes in students’ knowledge before and after the intervention.Methods: A pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest approach was used, involving 139 tenth-grade students from State Vocational High School 2 and 3 Malang. Data were collected using pretest and posttest questionnaires and analyzed with a paired t-test.Results: The results showed a significant increase in students’ knowledge after receiving RHE from teachers, both at First VHS (p < 0.001) and Second VHS (p < 0.001). Most students (68.3%) showed improvement, and more than half stated that RHE is essential to be taught in schools.Conclusion: In conclusion, RHE delivered by teachers is effective in enhancing students’ knowledge. Therefore, strengthening teachers’ capacity and integrating RHE into the school curriculum are crucial strategies to foster healthy, knowledgeable, and responsible adolescents.
