Abstract

The successful accomplishment of organizational goals, targets, and work programs is closely related to the organization's human resources. Any evaluation regarding organizational performance is likely to involve the accomplishment of the organization's vision, mission, and work programs. Such evaluation is conducted by the human resources within the organization. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the influence of individual innovation capability, intrinsic motivation, and self-efficacy on the student organizations' individual performance at Ciputra University. Proportional random sampling is used to select 265 respondents as research samples, while Multiple Linear Regression analysis is used to analyze the research data. The results of the hypothesis tests can be summarized as follows: (1) Individual Innovation Capability significantly influences Individual Performance; (2) Intrinsic Motivation significantly influences Individual Performance; and (3) Self-efficacy significantly influences Individual Performance. The findings of this research can be used as a reference for the organization to improve the individual performances in the future

Abstract

Application of bootstrap financing methods had been very popular among small-scale entrepreneurs in Indonesia.This was because their access to capital was still very limited. Although bootstrap financing methodswere used by many entrepreneurs, the risk factors, timing, market share, education, age, and gender was not yetknown. This study aimed to determine whether there was an influence of risk, time, market share, education,age, and gender of the application of bootstrap financing methods. The sample in this study was small andmedium entrepreneurs in the city of Surabaya. The sampling method used was stratified random sampling.The analysis technique used was multiple regression. The results of this study showed that the risk factors,time, age, and gender affected significantly to the application of the bootstrap method significant financing,while the market share and education had no significant effect.

Abstract

Innovation is the most important and the most strategic aspects both for profit and non-profit companies. Innovation is an essential requirement to improve organization’s competitiveness and performance. This research is aiming to deeply explore the process of how innovation emerges in an organization so that the organization able to improve its competitiveness. This research uses an interpretative paradigm with qualitative methodology of a single case study. A single case study approach is used in the research to better explore how innovation processes emerge. The study was done in a year, with seven months of data collection. The data were obtained from a semi-structured interview methodology conducted to six full-time lecturers. Furthermore, the research was based on Miles and Huberman’s methodology to perform the data analysis. The study found that innovation can improve competitiveness. The study found three key aspects during the emergence of innovation, which are benchmarking, knowledge stock, and information. The process of innovation emerges via an interactive and intensive discussion. Interactive control system, as part of the management control, holds an important role in the process of innovation emergence. The study is as one of the references for the department of social science to create innovation.

Abstract

Bootstrap financing methods commonly used as an alternative to access a capital, since the conventional access of capitalis limited for small and medium firms in Indonesia.This study aims to explain the application of bootstrap financing for small and medium-sized firms in getting access to capital. Subjects used in this study are 67 owners of small and medium firms in Surabaya. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that for the method loan from the owner, instrument using personal credit card is the most frequent one. On the other hand, for the method funding from family, borrowing from family and friends is the most common instrument.

Abstract

Indonesia kaya akan sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Seiring berkembangnya zaman, semakin banyak lapangan kerja baru terbuka dan menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang semakin melimpah. Pada sisi lain, masih banyak lapisan masyarakat yang potensinya belum dijangkau. Hal ini menjadi pertimbangan perlunya program pelatihan yang merata untuk memaksimalkan potensi dan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh sumber daya manusia di Indonesia. Program pelatihan dapat dimulai dengan sektor pendidikan sebagai penyumbang generasi muda. Di lingkup sekolah, para siswa diajarkan keterampilan serta nilai luhur yang dapat diterapkan saat terjun dalam dunia kerja. Tetapi sebelum mempelajari seluruh keterampilan yang diperlukan, skill komunikasi merupakan modal dasar dalam mengembangkan skill lainnya. Komunikasi membantu siswa untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Pelatihan yang tepat dan efektif dapat membuat potensi siswa siswi tersalurkan pada bidang yang sesuai dan turut memberikan dampak, memajukan perekonomian Indonesia dan keberlangsungan. Hal ini perlu adanya upaya yang cukup baik untuk mewujudkan apa yang telah menjadi visi dan misi.

Abstract

Hidroponik merupakan suatu metode budi daya tanaman perdu yang tidak perlu menggunakan tanah. Luas lahan di pemukiman relatif tidak luas, sehingga perlu solusi untuk budi daya tanaman, juga persentase Ruang terbuka Hijau (RTH) masih sempit di bawah 30%. Jumlah bangunan di Perumahan Dirgantara Permai adalah 750 unit dengan luas lahan adalah  135, 180, dan 225 m2 dan luas bangunan adalah 45 m2 dan 54 m2. Fasilitas umum dan lapangan terbuka relatif masih sempit. Ada pun tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk melakukan sosialisasi tentang pemanfaatan peralatan hidroponik untuk menanam yang bermanfaat di dalam kebutuhan sehari-hari. Peralatan hidroponik dengan ukuran 2,5 m x 2 m dengan bahan baku pipa PVC, dan profil aluminium. Pipa PVC dengan diameter 3, 3,5, dan 4 inci dan panjang 2 m dan bertingkat. Secara paralel  atau secara horisontal ada 4 batang dan secara vertikal ada 4 tingkat. Jarak antar lubang bibit tanaman adalah 15, 20, dan 25 cm dan tiap pot ada 5 biji benih tanaman kangkung. Hasil adalah sayuran tanaman kangkung untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari dan bisa dipanen sampai 5 kali setelah berumur antara 24 sampai 30 hari. Daun kangkung memiliki rasa manis dan serat daun kangkung yang lunak.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test the influence of mental accounting and motivation to financial behavior and test financial self-efficacy in mediating the relationship between mental accounting and financial behavior. This research uses survey method by sending questionnaires to young entrepreneurs starting a business. The result of the research shows that mental accounting, financial self-efficacy, and motivation influence financial behavior. This research discovers that a person’s confidence in their ability in managing finance depend on mental accounting mindset. Financial self-efficacy is also an important variable for encouraging the increasing of a person’s ability in planning and managing finance.

Abstract

Usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) Kecamatan Sambikerep, Kota Surabaya mengalami penurunan pendapatan pasca timbulnya pandemi covid 19 tahun 2020–2021. UMKM membutuhkan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan omset bisnis. Metode pendampingan UMKM diantaranya: 1) analisis situasi dan permasalahan mitra, 2) pelaksanaan pendampingan, 3) evaluasi kegiatan. Pendampingan diberikan kepada 20 orang pemilik UMKM kecamatan Sambikerep, Kota Surabaya. Hasil dari program pendampingan: 1) analisis situasi berhasil merumuskan program pendampingan, 2) transfer pengetahuan memberikan skill dan pengetahuan, praktek pengunaan sosial media memampukan UMKM mengunakan media sosial untuk bisnis dan eksekusi pameran bisnis memberikan kesempatan UMKM mengikuti pameran, 3) kegiatan evaluasi pendampingan berhasil konfirmasi kesuksesan pendampingan. Kesimpulan dari pendampingan diantaranya: 1) UMKM memperoleh peningkatan pendapatan sebesar 20 persen setelah mengikuti pendampingan, 2) Pelaku/pemilik UMKM mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan entrepreneurship, marketing dan pengelolaan bisnis.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the influence of the marketing mix strategy on consumer repurchase intention. This research is based on the widespread presence of shopping centers, especially in the retail section. This requires business people to know more about the right marketing mix used to influence consumer purchase intentions in order to maintain the smooth running of their business. Thus, the purpose of this research is to examine how the marketing mix strategy at Alfa M Lebo Sidoarjo affects shoppers' propensity to make a purchase. This study employs a quantitative approach, and it is a descriptive, causal study. Non-probability sampling with incidental sampling was utilized for this investigation, and its total sample size was 100. SPSS 22.0 for Windows is utilized for both descriptive and simple linear regression analysis of the data. Findings indicated that Alfa M Lebo Sidoarjo's marketing mix strategy significantly influenced shoppers' intent to make a purchase. Where the marketing variable received a good response with a score of 82.54 percent and the purchase intention variable was also in the good category, namely 77.86 percent. Overall, the marketing mix variable has enough influence on purchase intention, which is equal to 46.0 percent.
