Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan praktikum, sarana dan prasarana memiliki peran yang penting. Diperlukan pengelolaan serta kepatuhan terhadap Standar Nasional. Tujuan dari riset ini, untuk mengevaluasi cara pengelolaan dan tingkat kecocokan fasilitas praktik TBKR di SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. Jenis kajiannya deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif di mana Guru Produktif, Kepala Bengkel TBKR, Kaprog, Wakil Sarpras dan Kepala Sekolah sebagai subjek. Sedangkan objeknya yaitu fasilitas praktik Teknik Bodi Kendaraan Ringan. Tingkat kesesuaian prasarana hasil penelitian adalah sebesar 73%, sedangkan untuk sarana adalah sebesar 29%. Prasarana terbagi menjadi bagian perabot (32%), peralatan (24%), media pendidikan (12,5%), dan perlengkapan lainnya (33%). Sebanyak 51% dari keseluruhan fasilitas di bengkel TBKR memenuhi syarat dan cukup sesuai. In the implementation of practicum, facilities and infrastructure have an important role. Required to manage and comply with National Standards. The goal of the riset, Evaluate the management method and the level of suitability of the Light Vehicle Body Engineering practicum facility at SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. The type of study is descriptive with a qualitative approach in which Productive Teachers, Head of TBKR Workshop, Head of Workshop, Head of Infrastructure, Deputy Sarpras and Principal are the subjects. Meanwhile, the object is the Light Vehicle Body Engineering practicum facility. The level of infrastructure suitability of the research results is 73%, while for facilities it is 29%. Infrastructure is divided into furniture (32%), equipment (24%), educational media (12.5%), and other equipment (33%). As many as 51% of the total facilities at TBKR workshops meet the requirements and are quite suitable.

Abstract

Penelitian mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) serta Sarana dan Prasarana dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMK. Kurangnya fasilitas pendukung Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di bengkel dan rendahnya penerapan aturan K3, minimnya pemahaman siswa yang menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja, serta kondisi alat pelindung diri yang tidak memadai dari segi jumlah dan kelayakan. Penelitian jenis kuantitatif deskriptif dengan strategi asosiatif, melibatkan kepala jurusan, guru mata Pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan (PMKR), dan teknisi bengkel sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan nilai praktik siswa, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SMK3 serta Sarana dan Prasarana secara signifikan memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa (61,3%), dengan SMK3 memiliki pengaruh lebih kuat (β=0,453) dibanding Sarana dan Prasarana (β=0,387). This research evaluates the effectiveness of implementing the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and Infrastructure Facilities in improving student learning outcomes in Vocational High School. Poor implementation of safety regulations and limited student understanding leading to workplace accidents, and insufficient personal protective equipment in terms of quantity and feasibility. A descriptive quantitative approach with an associative strategy, involving department heads, Light Vehicle Maintenance Engineering teachers, and workshop technicians as subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires, documentation, and student practical scores, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that the implementation of OHSMS and Infrastructure and Facilities significantly influences student learning outcomes (61.3%), with OHSMS having a stronger influence (β=0.453) compared to Infrastructure and Facilities (β=0.387).

Abstract

Penelitian terkait sikap belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan (PMKR) SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir terhadap hasil belajar perlu dilakukan, agar mendapatkan informasi terkait gaya belajar, minat, dan bakat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Populasi dan Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa di kelas X Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Angket digunakan untuk mengukur sikap belajar siswa dan dokumentasi nilai siswa untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap belajar memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan hasil belajar dengan nilai (r = 0,999). Sikap belajar juga memberikan kontribusi sebesar 99,9% terhadap pencapaian belajar siswa.  Research related to students' learning attitudes in the Light Vehicle Engine Maintenance subject at SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir towards learning outcomes needs to be conducted, in order to obtain information related to learning styles, interests, and talents to improve the quality of learning. The population and sample of this study amounted to 30 students in class X of Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir, sampling using the Total Sampling technique. Questionnaires were used to measure students' learning attitudes and documentation of student grades to measure learning outcomes. The results of the study showed that learning attitudes had a positive and significant relationship with learning outcomes with a value (r = 0.999). Learning attitudes also contributed 99.9% to student learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kontribusi kreativitas belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kreativitas siswa kelas X Jurusan Teknik Sepeda Motor di SMK Negeri 1 Kluet Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Subjek penelitiannya kelas X Teknik Sepeda Motor yang mengikuti pembelajaran Dasar Program Keahlian sebanyak 48 siswa. Kuesioner digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data. Data diolah menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Penelitian tentang kontribusi kreativitas belajar terhadap hasil belajar yaitu: persentase kreativitas belajar 89%, persentase hasil belajar 77,56%. Kreativitas berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar yaitu dengan rhitung 0,024 pada taraf signifikan 5%. This study discusses the contribution of learning creativity to student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the level of creativity of class X students of the Motorcycle Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 1 Klue Selatant. This type of research is correlational research. The research subjects were class X Motorcycle Engineering who participated in Basic Expertise Program learning as many as 48 students. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. Data were processed using Microsoft Excel. Research on the contribution of learning creativity to learning outcomes, namely: the percentage of learning creativity is 89%, the percentage of learning outcomes is 77.56%. Creativity contributes to learning outcomes with rcount 0.024 at a significant level of 5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan guru terhadap penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka ditinjau dari perencanaan pembelajaran, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian atau evaluasi pembelajaran pada di SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Lembar observasi dengan 40 pernyataan dengan 30 responden. Lembar observasi disebarkan kepada guru yang mengajar di SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo, setelah semua data diperoleh kemudian data diolah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SMK Negeri 1 Lintau sudah dikategorikan sangat siap. Tingkat kesiapan guru yang mengajar SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo masuk kedalam kategori sangat siap, dimana tingkat kesiapan guru terhadap perencanaan pembelajaran sebesar 86,66 %, tingkat kesiapan guru terhadap Kurikulum Merdeka pada proses pembelajaran memiliki persentase sebesar 87,91 % masuk kedalam kategori sangat siap, dan kesiapan guru terhadap penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada proses evaluasi atau penilaian memiliki persentase sebesar 89,73 % masuk kedalam kategori sangat siap. This research aims to determine the level of teacher readiness for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in terms of learning planning, learning implementation process, assessment or evaluation of learning at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with the data analysis technique used, namely statistical analysis. The method used is an observation sheet with 40 statements with 30 respondents. Observation sheets were distributed to teachers who taught at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo, after all the data was obtained, the data was processed. This research shows that the level of teacher readiness in implementing the merdeka curriculum at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau is categorized as very ready. The level of readiness of teachers who teach at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo is in the very ready category, where the level of teacher readiness for learning planning is 86.66%, the level of teacher readiness for the merdeka Curriculum in the learning process has a percentage of 87.91% in the very ready category, and teacher readiness for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the evaluation or assessment process has a percentage of 89.73% in the very ready category.

Abstract

Media audio visual merupakan salah satu media yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat video pembelajaran yang dapat membantu mahasiswa belajar lebih efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menerapkan model 4-D (define, design, development and disseminate). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran merupakan pilihan yang terbaik untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil validasi oleh validator materi yang mendapat skor 92% pada klasifikasi "sangat valid", dan hasil verifikasi dari validator media sebesar 94.85% pada klasifikasi "valid". Selain itu, uji praktikalitas juga memberikan mahasiswa dengan nilai 88.3% pada kategori “praktis”. Video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan dapat dikategorikan bermanfaat untuk digunakan dalam dunia pendidikan dan diharapkan dapat berguna bagi semua orang. Mahasiswa dan Dosen dapat secara mandiri menguasai materi pembelajaran. Audio-visual media is one of the tools that can be utilized in the teaching and learning process. The aim of this study is to develop an instructional video that can help students learn more efficiently. This research employs the Research and Development method by applying the 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The test results indicate that instructional videos are the best choice for use in the learning process. Validation by subject matter experts yielded a score of 92%, classified as "highly valid," while media validation achieved a score of 94.85%, classified as "valid." Additionally, the practicality test showed a student rating of 88.3% in the "practical" category. The developed instructional video can be considered beneficial for use in education and is expected to be useful for everyone. Both students and lecturers can independently master the learning material.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh pengaktifan VTEC menggunakan alternatif pemasangan VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas terhadap torsi dan daya Honda Accord Cielo 1995 Engine Swap F23A. Penelitian ini membandingkan torsi dan daya VTEC Off (tanpa menggunakan VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas) dengan VTEC On (menggunakan VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan peningkatan torsi dan daya yang signifikan pada Honda Accord Cielo 1995 Engine Swap F23A dengan menggunakan VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas (VTEC On) dengan hasil t hitung=6,3600 untuk torsi, dan t hitung=252,8458  untuk daya yang lebih besar dari t tabel=2,3534. Hasil persentase peningkatan torsi dan daya juga  memuaskan, dengan hasil peningkatan 7,08% untuk torsi dan 68,51% untuk daya. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of activating VTEC using an alternative installation of VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas on the torque and power of Honda Accord Cielo 1995 Engine Swap F23A. This study compares the torque and power of VTEC Off (without using VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas) with VTEC On (using VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas). This research method uses an experimental method. The results of this study showed a significant increase in torque and power in the Honda Accord Cielo 1995 Engine Swap F23A using VTEC Switch Control Pedal Gas (VTEC On) with the results of t counts = 6.3600 for torque, and t counts = 252.8458 for power greater than t table = 2.3534. The results of the percentage increase in torque and power are also satisfactory, with results increasing by 7.08% for torque and 68,51% for power.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and practicality of using a pneumatic valve spring remover Special Service Tool (SST) in the valve seal replacement process without removing the cylinder head, and to compare it with the conventional method. The experiment involved two groups: the experimental group using the pneumatic SST and the control group using the conventional method. The results showed that the pneumatic SST reduced the work time by 31.9%, from 433.78 minutes to 295.33 minutes. Additionally, the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) revealed excellent scores for system usefulness (1.35), information quality (1.96), interface quality (1.74), and overall satisfaction (1.66), indicating that the pneumatic SST is not only time-effective but also practical and comfortable to use. Based on these results, the pneumatic SST is recommended as an efficient and easy-to-operate tool for vehicle maintenance in workshops.

Abstract

The implementation of effective learning in vocational high schools requires understanding of students' learning style characteristics to optimize learning outcomes. Basic Automotive Engineering (DDTO) as a foundational subject in automotive engineering has its own complexity in accommodating diverse student learning preferences. This study aims to describe the learning style profile of students, describe the level of learning outcomes, and analyze the relationship between learning styles and learning outcomes in DDTO subject for Class X Light Vehicle Engineering students at SMKN 1 West Sumatra. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach with correlational design. Research subjects were 60 students from Class X Light Vehicle Engineering Program at SMKN 1 West Sumatra in academic year 2023/2024, selected using purposive sampling technique. Research instruments consisted of validated learning style questionnaire with 50 items covering visual, auditory, and kinesthetic dimensions, and academic achievement data from Mid-Semester Examination (UTS) scores. Data analysis used descriptive statistics with mean score calculations, frequency distribution, and categorization interpretation. Research findings show: (1) students' learning styles are dominated by kinesthetic style (45%) with high intensity (63.3%), followed by visual style (30%) and auditory style (25%), with Class TKR 1 showing more balanced distribution while Class TKR 2 demonstrates stronger kinesthetic dominance (53.3%); (2) learning outcomes show extreme disparity between Class TKR 1 with 93.33% mastery level (28 out of 30 students) and Class TKR 2 with only 13.33% mastery level (4 out of 30 students), despite both classes having similar learning style patterns, indicating that factors other than learning styles also influence students' academic achievement. Research findings imply the importance of implementing integrated theory-practice learning approaches, developing high-quality technical visual media, and optimizing auditory modalities for specific applications such as engine sound-based diagnosis.
