Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Muhammadiyah Tarjih Decision on prayer in children's education in the Muhammadiyah family in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta. By using a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and literature studies, this study found that the understanding of the Muhammadiyah family, especially the cadres and leaders, of the Tarjih Decision on prayer was good and they practiced it in their daily lives. The implementation of prayer education is carried out in two forms, namely the practice of prayer according to tarjih by teaching reading, memorization, and the example of parents, as well as the cultivation of spiritual, moral, and social values through prayer. The factors that support the success of the implementation are the relatively high level of education and family economy, while the obstacles faced are the limited access to Muhammadiyah educational facilities, so that some children study outside Muhammadiyah schools and are faced with different worship procedures. This research contributes to the development of Islamic education in the Muhammadiyah family and strengthens the implementation of the Tarjih Decision in urban communities.

Abstract

The empowerment program through the Kemuhammadiyahan course is an implementation of Al-Ma’un theology, which teaches compassion for others through acts of social charity. This movement is realized in the form of empowering underprivileged families (keluarga dhuafa). Student groups formed as part of this course will carry out the empowerment process through an economic approach by involving various stakeholders to ensure the activities run effectively and systematically. The empowerment methods include mentoring and support based on a productive assistance approach.As a result of this empowerment, students gain a deep understanding of the social realities around them, along with the ability to design solutions rooted in Islamic and humanitarian values. Meanwhile, beneficiary families gain new hope of breaking the cycle of poverty through measurable and sustainable efforts. Overall, this program not only provides direct benefits to underprivileged families but also instills the spirit of Al-Ma’un within students, shaping them into compassionate future Muslim intellectuals who are capable of becoming agents of change in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan terbitan berseri di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin beserta kendalanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun objek atau sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala perpustakaan, pustakawan, pemustaka, dan staf di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan terbitan berseri di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin meliputi pengadaan, pengolahan dengan rincian pemeriksaan, pemberian cap, pencatatan, pengkatalogan, pemajangan, penyimpanan, dan penyortiran, hampir sesuai dengan teori Lasa HS, tetapi di bagian pengolahan terbitan berseri tidak dilakukan pembuatan indeks dan penjilidan karena kurangnya Sumber Daya Manusia.  Sama hal nya dengan bagian pengadaan yang hanya berdasarkan hibah atau hadiah karena tidak adanya dana atau anggaran dari universitas. Kendala dalam pengadaannya yaitu tidak adanya anggaran untuk melanggan atau membeli terbitan berseri.  Kendala dalam pengolahan yaitu kurangnya sumber daya manusia karena tidak adanya penambahan pustakawan berkompeten dalam pengolahan terbitan berseri bentuk fisik. Analysis of Serial Publication Management at Lambung Mangkurat University Library Banjarmasin. This study aims to determine the management of serial publications at the Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin University Library and its obstacles. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. The objects or targets in this research are the head of the library, librarians, users, and staff at the Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin University Library. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the management of serial publications at the Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin University Library includes procurement, processing with details of inspection, stamping, recording, cataloguing, display, storage, and sorting, almost by the theory of Lasa HS, but in the serial publication processing section, indexing and binding are not carried out due to lack of Human Resources.  Similarly, the procurement section is only based on grants or gifts due to the absence of funds or budget from the university. The obstacle in procurement is that there is no budget to subscribe to or buy serial publications.  The obstacle in processing is the lack of human resources due to the absence of additional librarians competent in processing serialized publications in physical form.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of education in supporting women's empowerment in rural Aceh, understand the challenges they face, and see how education can be a tool to strengthen their position in the social structure without bumping up against traditional and religious values. Through a qualitative approach, this study explores the main factors that influence women's access to and participation in formal and non-formal education, including socio-cultural and economic barriers. This conceptual model identifies key components such as the role of local educational institutions, local values (such as mutual cooperation and religious teachings), and community and family support in improving access to education for women. The findings show that education has an optimal impact on women's involvement in social and economic life, allowing them to play a greater role outside the domestic sphere. However, various challenges such as conservative views and the lack of inclusive policies are still obstacles. With the existence of supportive policies and the integration of local values in education, it is hoped that women's empowerment in Aceh can be realized sustainably. This study is expected to contribute to the formulation of more inclusive education policies for women in rural Aceh.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan baca tulis Al-Qur’an di kalangan siswa SMK. Siswa SMK umumnya lebih fokus pada pelajaran kejuruan, sehingga kurang mendapatkan pembinaan spiritual. Melalui program ini, mahasiswa dan guru PAI memberikan pendampingan intensif selama tiga hari dengan pendekatan yang aktif dan melibatkan siswa. Kegiatan dimulai dengan observasi, asesmen kemampuan awal, penyusunan modul sederhana, lalu pelatihan secara kelompok dan pribadi. Hasilnya, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam membaca dan menulis huruf hijaiyah serta lebih tertarik untuk belajar Al-Qur’an secara mandiri. Selain itu, hubungan antara kampus dan sekolah menjadi lebih erat. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kejuruan dan pembinaan spiritual bisa berjalan bersama, membentuk generasi yang terampil sekaligus religius. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan juga di sekolah-sekolah lain.
