Abstract

Bermain merupakan aktivitas utama anak usia dini. Dengan bermain, anak akan merasa gembira dan menemukan hal baru dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tanpa disadari, melalui bermain anak lebih mudah menyerap berbagai hal termasuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitifnya. Artikel ini bertujuan memaparkan metode bermain sebagai salah satu upaya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak di era Kurikulum Merdeka. Melalui aktivitas bermain, kemampuan kognitif anak berkembang dengan optimal. Selain itu, bermain dapat mengembangkan aspek lainnya, seperti: moral, bahasa, dan perkembangan sosial anak. Selain bersifat alamiah, bermain di PAUD juga selaras dengan konsep Merdeka Belajar yang diadopsi dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Konsep Merdeka Belajar di PAUD memberikan kebebasan kepada anak untuk memilih kegiatan belajar yang diinginkan, serta memenuhi hak anak yaitu bermain sesuai dengan minat dan bakat anak. Dalam konteks PAUD, Merdeka Belajar adalah merdeka bermain yang mana di dalamnya terdapat dua jenis bermain, yakni: bermain aktif dan bermain pasif. Melalui kegiatan bermain, anak belajar memecahkan masalah, mengenal sebab akibat, mengenal berbagai konsep bentuk, warna, ukuran, dan jumlah yang dapat menstimulasi perkembangan intelektualnya. Dengan bermain, anak bukan hanya sekedar bermain, tetapi merupakan proses pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan makna dan pengalaman untuk mengenal lingkungannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh penggunaan metode bermain peran terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas II SDN 1 Sadewata. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 13 siswa kelas II SDN 1 Sadewata. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes keterampilan berbicara yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan bermain peran metode .Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest, dengan nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Rata-rata nilai kemampuan berbicara siswa meningkat dari 60,00 pada pretest menjadi 76,38 pada posttest. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan bermain peran metode berdampak positif kepada peningkatan terampilnya berbicara siswa. Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bermain peran berpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Penerapan metode ini terbukti berpengaruh meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa secara efektif. Selain itu, uji statistik dengan analisis perbedaan rata-rata menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, yang menegaskan bahwa perbedaan antara hasil posttest dan pretest adalah signifikan. Dengan demikian,metode bermain peran sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media anagram terhadap penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini terpokus pada pentingnya penguasaan kosakata dalam mendukung keterampilan berbahasa serta kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan relevan untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 5 Sadapaingan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menerapkan desain pre-eksperimental dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest desain. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 12 murid kelas V. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pretest dan posttest, lalu dianalisis dengan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji paired samples t-test. Hasilnya membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa. Hasil analisis data uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penguasaan kosakata siswa setelah menggunakan media anagram, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 28.33 dan tingkat signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,018 (p < 0,05), sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa media anagram efektif terhadap peningkatan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa.

Abstract

Loose Parts is one of the media used to develop fine motor skill of early childhood aged 5-6 years. This study aims to determine the development of fine motor skill of early childhood aged 5-6 years before and after using Loose Parts media, and to determine the effect of using Loose Parts media on the development of fine motor skill of early childhood aged 5-6 years at PAUD Dahlia Rejasari. This study uses a quantitative method under a pre-experimental design. The results of the study assert that before being given treatment in the form of using the Loose Parts media, the development of early childhoods’ fine motor skill showed the results of “Beginning to Develop”. After being given treatment in the form of using the Loose Parts media, the development of early childhoods’ fine motor skill showed the results of “Developed Very Well”. Meanwhile, based on the results of the t-test, it is stated that t-count> t-table, which shows 9.454> 2.201 at a significance level of 0.05, at which H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The data confirms that there is an effect of using the Loose Parts media on the development of fine motor skill of early childhood aged 5-6 years at PAUD Dahlia Rejasari.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cognitive development of early childhood before and after using puzzle games, and to determine the effect of puzzle games on the cognitive development of early childhood. The method used is quantitative, with the type of research pre-experimental design with a One-Group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used a saturated sample of 14 children. Data were collected through observation sheets, then analyzed quantitatively using the Wilcoxon test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that during the pretest, 71.43% of children were in the category of Not Developing (BB) and 28.57% of children were in the category of Starting to Develop (MB). After using the puzzle game, the posttest results showed 42.86% of children were in the Developing As Expected (BSH) category and 57.14% of children were in the Very Good Developing (BSB) category. The Wilcoxon test results show a sig value of 0.001, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that puzzle games have an effect on children's cognitive development in group B1 at RA Fastabiqul Khairat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of throwing and catching ball games on children's gross motor skills. The research method uses quantitative with the type of Pre Experimental Design type One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The number of samples used was 13 children with saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used is using a structured observation sheet. Data processing techniques are carried out using SPSS assistance. The results of the study obtained that children's gross motor abilities before treatment were in the undeveloped category (BB) of 46.15% and 53.85% were in the category of starting to develop (MB). After treatment, children's gross motor skills were in the category of developing as expected (BSH) 46.15% and 53, 86% were in the category of developing very well (BSB). The Wilcoxon test results show that the sig value. (2-tailed) <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of ball throwing games has a positive effect on the gross motor development of early childhood at RA Sabilissalam

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia offers opportunities for more contextual, flexible, and student-centred learning. A holistic approach integrating cognitive, affective, and aesthetic aspects enables students not only to master language structures but also to internalise humanistic values and local wisdom embedded in literature. This study examined the integration of Indonesian language and literature learning within the Merdeka Curriculum at the secondary school level as a strategy to strengthen literacy and cultural appreciation. The research draws on 20 scholarly articles published between 2015 and 2025, focusing on educational policy, pedagogical strategies, and empirical studies involving junior and senior high school students from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. Employing a literature review using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data were collected through documentation and analysed thematically to identify patterns, trends, and conceptual contributions. The findings showed that integrating language and literature learning improves literacy skills, deepens cultural understanding, and fosters reflective, meaningful learning experiences. Combining literary texts with language practice enhances critical thinking, empathy, and appreciation of literature in real-life contexts. This integration not only strengthens Merdeka Curriculum implementation but also supports the development of the Pancasila Student Profile. The study suggests further advancement through teacher training, contextual learning media, and supportive educational policies to promote holistic, transformative teaching practices.

Abstract

This study conducted a systematic review to assess the effectiveness of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in the context of higher education over the past decade. Following PRISMA guidelines and a structured methodological framework, peer-reviewed articles from a range of reputable academic databases were examined to uncover prevailing trends, key challenges, and effective practices in LMS adoption. The analysis demonstrated that LMSs played a significant role in fostering learning motivation, increasing student engagement, and improving the overall quality of the educational experience, particularly in online and blended learning settings. The effectiveness of LMS implementation was influenced by several factors, including the quality of digital instructional materials, the usability of the platform interface, the technological readiness of institutions, and the digital competencies of both educators and learners. Moreover, the review found that LMSs facilitated flexible learning pathways, enabled personalised content delivery, and supported performance tracking through integrated learning analytics. Despite these benefits, notable challenges persisted—most notably disparities in technology access, resistance to pedagogical innovation, and infrastructure deficiencies in underdeveloped, remote, or marginalised areas (commonly referred to as 3T regions: frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged). The study underscored the critical role of LMSs in the ongoing transformation of higher education in the digital era, highlighting the importance of aligning technological tools with pedagogical strategies and institutional policies. Ultimately, the findings provided important guidance for the development of more responsive, inclusive, and sustainable models for LMS integration that address both current demands and future advancements in higher education.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional merupakan permainan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan aspek pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fisik motorik kasar anak usia dini, yang mana salah satunya adalah Permainan Tradisional Engklek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan Permainan Tradisional Engklek terhadap perkembangan fisik motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Mawar. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Permainan Tradisional Engklek dapat membantu meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Mawar, di antaranya: anak mampu melompat dengan satu kaki, anak mampu melakukan koordinasi gerakan mata, kaki, dan tangan, anak mampu secara terampil menggunakan tangan kanan dan kiri dalam menjaga keseimbangan tubuh. Selain itu, bermain Tradisional Engklek mengenalkan nilai-nilai budaya juga memberikan dampak terhadap aspek perkembangan nilai agama dan moral, aspek kognitif, aspek sosial emosional, dan kekuatan fisik. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan Permainan Tradisional Engklek memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap perkembangan fisik motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Mawar, juga terhadap aspek nilai agama dan moral, aspek kognitif, aspek sosial emosional serta kekuatan fisik.

Abstract

The philosophy of science is a branch of philosophy that discusses the nature of science. The philosophy of science attempts to realize the true truth of the knowledge. This article aims to discuss the scope of the philosophy of science which consists of definition of philosophy, definition of the philosophy of science, characteristics of philosophical thoughts, and three fundamental structures of science. In this study, the researchers employ qualitative method under descriptive approach. Meanwhile, in the present study the researchers used content analysis as the data analysis technique. The results showed that philosophy is a way of humans’ thoughts in relation to the study of the fundamental and eternal universe. Furthermore, when philosophy is connected into science, it becomes the philosophy of science. The philosophy of science then is understood as a part of philosophy whose activities to examine science in the context of science through various scientific procedures including initial principles, theoretical structures, measures of scientific truth, views of formal logic, and practical methodology and metaphysics. In addition, philosophy is inseparable from the characteristics of philosophical thoughts which consists of methodical, systematic, coherent and consistent, rational, comprehensive, radical, and univesal. Finally, philosophy examines three aspects of the fundamental structure of science including aspect of ontology, epistemology, axiology. In conclusion, the philosophy of science has four scopes including definition of philosophy, definition of the philosophy of science, characteristics of philosophical thoughts, and three fundamental structures of science.
