Abstract

Community service activities at the Dharma Jati II Orphanage are communicative English language assistance that emphasizes speaking skills. The problem that arises in partners is that there is no English language training and development provided by the orphanage. The desire of the orphanage administrators in improving children's English skills, especially in speaking, is very large considering the importance of mastering English as an international language in this era of globalization. The purpose of this community service is to provide English language assistance to orphanage children so that they are able to improve their English skills, especially in speaking. The method used goes through three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results obtained from the assistance are a good method to use is role playing with occasionally slipping games that are fun for the orphanage children. In the future, this activity will be carried out more often to help orphanage children improve their English language skills, not only speaking skills, but also in 3 other English language skills, such as reading, writing, and listening.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) and consumer behavior in influencing tourists' decisions to visit Penglipuran Tourism Village. This study also analyzes the moderating effect of destination image as a unique and sustainable Balinese traditional village. The results show that the implementation of effective IMC strategies, such as the use of social media and partnerships with educational institutions, as well as an understanding of consumer behavior, can increase the number of tourist visits. The destination image as a unique Balinese traditional village plays an important role in attracting tourists. The implications of this study provide recommendations for destination managers to develop more integrated marketing strategies.

Abstract

AbstrakPerubahan perilaku wisawatan pasca pandemi COVID-19 yang lebih concern ke dampak berkelanjutan dan bersedia membeli produk dengan harga yang lebih tinggi menyebabkan implementasi green marketing semakin digencarkan, termasuk munculnya berbagai akomodasi yang ramah lingkungan seperti glamping. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh green marketing terhadap green consumer behavior, (2) Pengaruh green marketing terhadap minat menginap ulang wisatawan domestik ke Pelaga Eco Park Glamping, dan (3) Pengaruh green consumer behavior terhadap minat menginap wisatawan domestik ke Pelaga Eco Park Glamping. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden yang pernah menginap di Pelaga Eco park Glamping antara Bulan Januari Maret 2023 yang diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Green marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap green consumer behavior, (2) Green Marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menginap ulang, (3) Green consumer behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menginap ulang.

Abstract

Fruit peel waste is one of the most abundant types of organic waste in agricultural areas, including Tambakan Village, located in Kubutambahan District, Buleleng Regency. Until now, fruit peels such as banana, jackfruit, and orange have not been utilized optimally and are often discarded, potentially causing environmental pollution and health risks. This community service program aimed to empower local residents, especially farming groups, to process fruit peel waste into valuable and environmentally friendly fermented products. The program involved several stages, including initial surveys and needs analysis, environmental education and awareness sessions, technical fermentation training, product development mentoring, evaluation, and the creation of a fermentation guidebook. The results showed that participants experienced an increased understanding of organic waste management, gained the ability to independently produce fermented beverages from banana, jackfruit, and orange peels, and demonstrated interest in developing these products on a small-business scale. The fermented products produced have market potential, particularly as functional and eco-friendly beverages. This program successfully fostered sustainable local innovation in organic waste utilization based on village resources.

Abstract

Boreh merupakan salah satu ramuan dalam pengobatan tradisional (Usadha) Bali yang terbuat dari kombinasi rempah-rempah yang memiliki manfaat untuk kesehatan tubuh dan kecantikan kulit dan Boreh menjadi produk wellness tourism yang dilirik wisatawan. Di Desa Mekar Bhuwana telah ada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) yang mulai mengolah rempah-rempah menjadi Boreh namun pengembangannya belum maksimal. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan penguatan kapasitas kepada KWT dalam mengembangkan produk Boreh yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar wellness tourism. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan 3 tahapan metode yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini yaitu KWT menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dalam memproduksi Boreh dan mengemas Boreh yang sesuai dengan pasar wellness tourism serta KWT menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya pemasaran produk Boreh untuk dapat menjangkau pelanggan yang lebih luas. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan baru terhadap KWT. Sebagai tindak lanjut, KWT masih membutuhkan pendampingan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri peralatan makan dan dapur semakin pesat, namun penggunaan bahan plastik yang masih mendominasi pasar memberikan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan. Plastik dapat melepaskan zat berbahaya, terutama pada suhu tinggi, yang merusak kesehatan tubuh, serta memerlukan waktu lama untuk terurai di alam, menyebabkan akumulasi sampah yang mencemari lingkungan. Artikel ini mengkaji inovasi produk dari Nicole’s Natural, yaitu Sanrio Cutlery Set, yang terbuat dari kayu solid dengan tambahan karakter-karakter lucu dari Sanrio seperti Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, dan My Melody. Produk ini dirancang untuk menggantikan peralatan makan plastik yang berbahaya dengan produk yang lebih aman dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi manfaat dari Sanrio Cutlery Set, baik dari segi kesehatan maupun dampaknya terhadap pengurangan sampah plastik. Produk ini menawarkan keunggulan ketahanan yang lebih lama, tidak mengandung bahan kimia berbahaya, dan dapat digunakan berulang kali tanpa menghasilkan sampah setelah penggunaan. Dengan pendekatan yang mengedepankan keberlanjutan, produk ini juga bertujuan untuk mengedukasi anak-anak dan remaja, agar lebih peduli terhadap isu lingkungan dan mulai beralih dari penggunaan peralatan makan plastik. Diharapkan, dengan semakin dikenalnya produk ini, masyarakat dapat lebih sadar untuk beralih ke produk-produk yang lebih ramah lingkungan dan mendukung gaya hidup sehat. The development of the eating and kitchenware industry is rapidly growing, yet the dominance of plastic in the market continues to have negative impacts on health and the environment. Plastic can release harmful substances, especially at high temperatures, which damage the body, and it takes a long time to decompose, leading to the accumulation of waste that pollutes the environment. This article examines the product innovation from Nicole’s Natural, the Sanrio Cutlery Set, made from solid wood and featuring popular Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and My Melody. This product is designed to replace harmful plastic eating utensils with a safer, more eco-friendly alternative. The research aims to explore the benefits of the Sanrio Cutlery Set, both in terms of health and its impact on reducing plastic waste. The product offers advantages such as longer durability, being free of harmful chemicals, and being reusable without generating waste after use. With a focus on sustainability, this product also aims to educate children and teenagers, to be more aware of environmental issues and shift from using plastic eating utensils. It is hoped that as this product gains recognition, society will become more conscious of switching to more eco-friendly products and supporting a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Palungan salt farming is one of commodity that is still dominated by coastal communities in Tejakula Village. However, since 2010 the number of palungan salt farmers has degraded from 200 farmers to 21 farmers. This resulted in the production of salt manger decreased. On the other hand, salt is one of the foodstuffs needed by various parties for both consumption and industrial needs. Although the Government has issued a policy to empower traditional salt farming through PUGAR, but until now the implementation has not been maximized.  The aims  of this research is to identify the potential of internal and external physical environments in Tejakula Village to consideration in the effort to conserve local wisdom in synergy with sustainable tourism development. Using the descriptive qualitative research method, Tejakula Village has internal and external potential that is useful to be developed towards the development of living museum as cultural and educational tourism in order to conserve local wisdom and improve the economic level of the community in Tejakula Village.

Abstract

The existence of the castle or puri as a historical and cultural heritage of traditional Balinese architecture at this time began to fade due to the influence of modernization. Not a few puri in Bali have experienced commodification both in terms of shape, function and meaning. Therefore an effort is needed to maintain the continuity of traditional Balinese architecture in the castle building in the midst of global culture, namely by developing the castle towards special interest tourism which is currently becoming a trend in the tourism world. The purpose of this study is to identify the potential of traditional Balinese architecture in castle buildings as a tourist attraction of special interest in supporting the development of tourism in Bali. This research included descriptive qualitative research conducted for three months at Puri Kaba-Kaba, Tabanan, Bali. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation on traditional Balinese architecture in Puri Kaba-Kaba, in-depth interviews with four informants consisting of castle leaders, tourism conscious groups, and the Head of Kaba-Kaba Village, as well as documentation studies of relevant literature and documents. The results of the study show that Puri Kaba-Kaba still preserves the concept of Sanga Mandala especially in parts of sacred or infused places that contain form, function, and meaning of traditional Balinese architecture that is unique and of historical value so that it has the potential

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali persepsi wisatawan domestik terhadap penerapan CHSE di Green Kubu Café, dan mengidentifikasi pengaruh penerapan protokol CHSE terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas wisatawan domestik berkunjung ke Green Kubu Café. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian verifikatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan analisis deskriptif statistik dan Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 1) Persepsi wisatawan domestik terhadap penerapan protokol CHSE di Green Kubu Café adalah baik, 2) Protokol CHSE secara keseluruhan berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas wisatawan domestik selama berkunjung ke Green Kubu Café.

Abstract

Studi ini membahas tentang pertumbuhan usaha jasa laundry dengan meningkatkan pendapatan marginal dari sudut pandang ekonomi dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Permasalahan utama dalam studi ini ialah bagaimana melakukan pengembangan bisnis untuk meningkatkan pendapatan perusahaan Cleanhelm.bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan usaha yang dilakukan Cleanhelm.bali, kontribusi pengembangan usaha yang dilakukan Cleanhelm.bali terhadap peningkatan pendapatan marginal rumah tangga, serta prospek keekonomian dan peningkatan pendapatan dari kegiatan pengembangan usaha yang dilakukan di Cleanhelm.bali. Cleanhelm.bali. Jenis studi yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan ekonomi. Subyek studi ini ialah pengembangan usaha dan pendapatan marginal rumah tangga yang diterima dari usaha laundry, sedangkan subjek studinya ialah usaha yang dikembangkan maupun marjinal rumah tangga yamg dapatkan melalui usaha laundry. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah metode observasi, wawancara maupun pencatatan. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Studi ini menghasilkan jika dalam proses pengembangan usaha yang dilaksanakan di Cleanhelm.bali biasa dipergunakan tiga aspek produksi yaitu modal berupa uang dan peralatan, tenaga kerja dan keterampilan usaha.This ponder examines the improvement of clothing benefit businesses in expanding minimal wage from an financial point of view and expanding deals.
