Abstract

nelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kekerasan simbolik direpresentasikan melalui film Hidden Figures. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah semiotika televisi John Fiske melalui 3 level yaitu level realitas, level representasi, dan level ideologi. Berdasarkan kode-kode tersebut, peneliti melihat adanya konsep kekerasan simbolik yang dikemas dalam perilaku orang-orang yang berperan di dalam film Hidden Figures. Kekerasan simbolik sendiri adalah bentuk kekerasan yang halus dan tidak tampak, yang tidak dikenal atau hanya dikenal dengan menyembunyikan mekanisme tempatnya bergantung Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bagaimana orang kulit hitam dapat menyaingi orang-orang kulit putih. Kekerasan simbolik tergambarkan dalam tiga hal utama, yaitu : pemisahan ras, perempuan, dan dominasi atasan terhadap bawahan.. Dan kekerasan simbolik terasa mulai dari awal hingga akhir film.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang representasi pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai brand activism yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan The Body Shop pada perempuan Indonesia di Instagram milik The Body Shop, yaitu @thebodyshopindo.impact. Sistem patriarki dianut oleh kebanyakan orang di setiap belahan dunia menyebabkan diskriminasi kepada gender yang lebih lemah, yaitu perempuan. Perempuan dianggap memiliki kedudukan dan nilai yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan laki-laki sehingga peran, serta suara perempuan bagi keluarga, pekerjaan, dan masyarakat kurang diakui dan dihargai, sehingga tidak jarang juga perempuan yang menjadi sasaran. The Body Shop mengangkat permaslahan ini, memberikan dukungan kepada perempuan, dan membagikannya ke Instagram. Penelitian ini dibedah dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika tentang pesan yang ingin disampaikan pada perempuan Indonesia di Instagram milik The Body Shop, yaitu @thebodyshopindo.impact. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan paradigma kualitatif dan teori semiotika milik C.S. Peirce. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 3 pesan utama dari The Body Shop yaitu mengajak perempuan untuk maju bersama-sama, berani berkarya, dan menerima diri. Tetapi dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan masih adanya bias gender dalam post yang dibagikan oleh The Body Shop seperti warna dan gaya bahasa yang digunakan.

Abstract

The development of communication technology has undergone very significant changes ranging from simple to modern. One of the visible developments in communication technology is the Smartphone. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Brand Awareness, Brand Image, and Product Quality on OPPO Smartphone Users in Pekanbaru. The population of this study is consumers who have OPPO smartphones in Pekanbaru City. Sampling in this study used the Accidental Sampling method, so the sample in this study was 120 respondents. Methods of collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The analysis technique in this research is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0 software. Based on the results obtained in this study, the variables of Brand Awareness, Brand Image, and Product Quality have a positive and significant influence on consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Setiap tahunnya terjadi peningkatan wirausaha terutama wirausaha pemula namun, kendala yang sering dihadapi oleh para wirausaha pemula adalah sumber pendanaan untuk meningkatkan kegiatan operasional dan pemasaran usaha mereka. Selain itu salah satu kendala yang dihadapi oleh wirausaha mapan adalah masih belum mengerti cara mengelolah keuntungan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan usaha mereka. Oleh karena itu, Fellowship MORE yang merupakan komunitas para pengusaha dibawah naungan Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) melakukan kegiatan Seminar dengan tujuan membantu para pengusaha / wirausaha agar mendapatkan wawasan tentang sumber pendanaan hingga memilih investasi yang cocok sesuai dengan profil resiko masing-masing pengusaha.

Abstract

Abstract- The implementation of supply chain management is necessary to support a company’s operational activities especially in the manufacturing industry. Capital structure is part of the supply chain strategy that plays an important role in funding decision making in effort to boost company profitability. This study aims to analyze the effect that supply chain management, firm size and intellectual capital have on the capital structure and profitability in the manufacturing industry. The population in this study was all manufacturing industries registered in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) of 145 companies. 96 companies from the period 2010-2018 were taken as the sample using the purposive sampling technique. Data in this study were analyzed using path analysis with AMOS software. The results showed that supply chain management dan firm size had no significant effect on capital structure and profitability, while intellectual capital negatively affected capital structure but had a significant positive effect on profitability, and capital structure had a significant negative effect on profitability. The results are in agreement with the pecking order theory stating that a company capable of gaining high profits tends to have low corporate debt.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of company size, earnings per share, debt to equity ratio, total asset turnover and net profit margin on firm value on Kompas 100 index. The sample technique used were purposive sampling methods selected based on criteria. Thus, the number of samples were 59 companies. Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with SmartPLS 3. The results showed that company size, earnings per share, debt to equity ratio, total asset turnover have no effect on firm value while net profit margin has an effect on firm value. Thus, increasing NPM value will encourage a positive response from investors so that it will be encourage an increase on stock price and company value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of accounting understanding, Regional Financial Accounting System, Government Internal Control System, and human resource competence on the quality of Pekanbaru City government financial reports. And to determine and analyze whether human resource competence strengthens the influence of accounting understanding, Regional Financial Accounting System, and Government Internal Control System on the quality of Pekanbaru City government financial reports. The population in this study were Civil Servants in Pekanbaru City. The sampling technique for respondents used was purposive sampling, which is a sampling technique based on certain criteria. The research sample included the financial management sub-section, namely 2 people in each OPD. Data analysis used Moderate Regression Analysis. The results of the study stated that accounting understanding had a negative and significant effect, the Regional Financial Accounting System had a positive and insignificant effect, the Internal Control System had a positive and insignificant effect and HR competence had a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial reports of Regional Government Organizations in Pekanbaru City. Accounting understanding through HR competence had a negative and insignificant effect on the quality of financial reports. The application of the Regional Financial Accounting System through the HR Competence variable had a negative and insignificant effect on the quality of financial reports. Internal Control System through HR Competency variable has a positive but insignificant effect on the quality of financial reports.

Abstract

This study introduces a comprehensive model that simultaneously investigates the interplay of Government Accounting Standards Implementation, Internal Control Systems, and Human Resource Competence in determining regional financial report quality. This study employs a quantitative research design. The sample size for this study is 96 respondents, meeting the minimum requirement for Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. Only human resource competence can improve regional financial report quality. These findings align with Agency Theory, emphasizing that competent agents (human resources) are critical for reducing information asymmetry and improving financial reporting. They also connect to Institutional Theory, illustrating that formal systems like GAS and ICS require human agency to operationalize institutional norms effectively. Finally, the results support Resource-Based Theory (RBT), highlighting HRC as a strategic resource that drives organizational success in financial reporting. Future studies should explore the impact of external audits, political stability, and organizational culture on financial report quality.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of Asset Structure, Business Risk, and Firm size on Profitabillity and Capital Structure of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. In this research, sampling was conducted using purposive sampling method. The samples used in this research were 10 companies out of a total of 12 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. The data analysis technique used to analyze the data is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that asset structure, business risk, and Firm size has insignificant effect on the profitability and capital structure of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. This research also shows that profitability does not mediate the relationship between asset structure, business risk, Firm size on capital structure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Struktur Aktiva, Risiko Bisnis, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Profitabilitas dan Struktur Modal pada perusahaan subsektor farmasi. Dalam penelitian ini pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 perusahaan dari total 12 perusahaan subsektor farmasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur aset, risiko bisnis, dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas dan struktur modal pada perusahaan subsektor farmasi. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas tidak memediasi hubungan antara struktur aset, risiko bisnis, ukuran perusahaan terhadap struktur modal.

Abstract

Brand image merupakan kunci pemasaran dalam suatu bisnis dimana dengan membangun brand image yang kuat maka akan berpeluang untuk menarik konsumen lebih banyak dibandingkan pesaing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh credibility, attraction dan power celebrity endorser terhadap brand image produk scarlett whitening. Populasi penelitian adalah konsumen pengguna produk scarlett whitening di Kota Pekanbaru. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 120 responden yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa credibility dan power celebrity endorser berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand image. Sedangkan attraction tidak signifikan terhadap brand image. Power celebrity endorser menjadi faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kuat atau lemahnya brand image suatu produk. Dalam era pemasaran digital saat ini, banyak perusahaan yang memanfaatkan influencer sebagai media promosi produk akibat adanya trend kecenderungan konsumen akan mencoba produk yang dikonsumsi oleh influencer favorit.
