Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and work discipline on improving the performance of Muamalat Bank employees throughout Sorong City. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The number of samples used was 36 Muamalat Bank employees throughout Sorong City. The 36 respondents are permanent employees from Bank Muamalat and the reason the author used a sample of permanent employees is because they tend to have a higher commitment to the organization because they have invested time and energy in the long term. The data collection technique was by distributing and distributing questionnaires to predetermined samples. Furthermore, it was processed using the SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that (1) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Muamalat Bank employees throughout Sorong City, (2) work discipline has a negative and insignificant effect on the performance of Muamalat Bank employees throughout Sorong City. So it can be concluded that hypothesis 1 can be accepted while hypothesis 2 is not accepted.

Abstract

Business competition in this era of globalization seems increasingly tight along with the increasing business competition, consumers or buyers are increasingly careful in choosing products in terms of purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the effect of price, product quality and service quality on consumer purchasing decisions at the Solaria Café and Resto, Sorong City. The method used in this study is the quantitative method. The number of samples used was 190 consumers of the Solaria Café and Resto, Sorong City. Then the data collection technique by distributing and distributing questionnaires to predetermined samples. Furthermore, the data is processed using the SPSS analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that (1) Price has a positive and significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions (2) Product quality has a positive and significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions (3) Service quality has a positive influence on consumer purchasing decisions, this influence is not significant. So it is concluded that hypotheses 1 and 2 in this study are accepted while hypothesis 3 is not accepted.

Abstract

Spinach is one of the raw materials that is easy to get in Southwest Papua, especially in Sorong, where it is widely sold in markets. The objectives of this activity are: 1). increase students' insight into marketing strategies, 2). increase students' insight into the application of the marketing mix applied to products, 3). provide motivation for students to become entrepreneurs, 4). The importance of marketing strategy in a business. Implementation of activities is carried out with the following steps: observation; completion of permits; training; discussion, reinforcement of material; and reporting. The marketing team provided material and socialization about marketing strategy literacy resulting from processed spinach business ideas to MAN Insan Scholar Sorong students. The activities carried out in this training are MAN IC students who take part in the training, especially class 11 students so that MAN Scholar students have the ability to implement product marketing well and have an entrepreneurial spirit without any fear of marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and communication on employee work productivity at PT. Perikanan Nusantara (Persero) Sorong Branch. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 31 employees. Quantitative data used in this study using a Likert scale and the analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis and then the data is processed using SPSS 20. The results of this study indicate that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity and communication has a positive and insignificant effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the perspective of students in Jayapura city using the e-payment method in every payment transaction. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The respondents selected were students who were carrying out lecture activities in Jayapura city. The results of the study found and concluded that the e-payment method is a new breakthrough in payment transactions that affect students who carry out lecture activities in Jayapura city. With the e-payment method, students in Jayapura city can make non-cash payment transactions and can reduce the use of cash as a means of payment. The results of this study indicate that the e-payment and payment transaction variables show valid and reliable results. The coefficient of determination value of the research results shows the ability of the e-payment variable in its influence on payment transactions by 57% and the rest are variables not discussed in this study. The results of the regression equation Y = 3.491 + 0.786X show a positive direction coefficient result from e-payment on payment transactions and the hypothesis results show positive and significant results of e-payment on student payment transactions in Jayapura city, in the sense that with the existence of the e-payment payment method, students in Jayapura are much freer and much more motivated to make purchases in this case referring to payment transaction activities that are more in line with a practical lifestyle.

Abstract

The community service activity with the theme "Training on Making Crackers from Locan Shellfish" was carried out in October 2024 in Kampung Gamta, Misol Barat District, Raja Ampat Regency. The purpose of this activity is to develop the potential of marine resources, particularly locan shellfish, which has so far been used mainly as a supplementary food, by processing it into crackers made from locan shellfish. This training involved 17 participants and was conducted using a systematic approach with the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method, which consists of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up stages. Through this training, it is hoped that the community will develop skills in producing crackers, create a local flagship product, and open new business opportunities that have the potential to increase household income in Kampung Gamta.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of marketing strategies on customer loyalty at Alfamart in Sorong City. Employing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 100 Alfamart customers using a structured questionnaire based on a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression through SPSS version 20. The findings reveal that marketing strategies have a positive and statistically significant impact on customer loyalty. This indicates that the more effectively Alfamart implements its marketing strategies—such as promotions, pricing, and customer engagement—the higher the level of customer retention and repeat purchases. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to the understanding of customer loyalty drivers in the modern retail sector, particularly within the context of Indonesia’s growing convenience store market. It provides empirical evidence for business practitioners regarding the importance of aligning marketing initiatives with customer expectations. However, the study is limited by its scope, focusing only on one retail brand in a specific geographic area, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Future research is recommended to include comparative studies across different retail chains and regions to enhance external validity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Citra Raja Ampat Canning dengan kepemimpinan otentik sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 30 karyawan yang bekerja di bagian produksi PT. Citra Raja Ampat Canning. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan program SEM PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Citra Raja Ampat Canning, (2) budaya organisasi memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kepemimpinan otentik, (3) kepemimpinan otentik memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja, meskipun pengaruhnya tidak signifikan, (4) kepemimpinan otentik juga mempengaruhi pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan secara positif, tetapi tidak signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Woori Finance Cabang Kota Sorong yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana budaya organisasi memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di lingkungan perusahaan tersebut. Budaya organisasi dipandang sebagai seperangkat nilai, norma, dan keyakinan yang dapat membentuk perilaku karyawan serta berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada seluruh populasi penelitian yang berjumlah 30 karyawan Woori Finance Cabang Kota Sorong, sehingga digunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Artinya, semakin baik budaya organisasi yang dibangun dan diterapkan di lingkungan kerja, maka akan semakin tinggi pula kinerja yang ditunjukkan oleh karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya perusahaan untuk memperkuat budaya organisasi yang produktif sebagai salah satu strategi dalam meningkatkan kinerja sumber daya manusia secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of service marketing strategy and service quality on customer satisfaction at PT PELNI in Sorong City, Indonesia. As a state-owned enterprise in maritime transportation, PT PELNI faces growing customer expectations that demand continuous improvements in service delivery and marketing approaches. Understanding the factors that shape customer satisfaction is essential for enhancing competitiveness and loyalty in this industry. A quantitative research method with a descriptive-causative design was employed. The study involved 141 customers of PT PELNI Sorong, selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire, and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 20. The independent variables in this study were service marketing strategy and service quality, while the dependent variable was customer satisfaction. The results revealed that both service marketing strategy and service quality have a positive and statistically significant effect on customer satisfaction. Specifically, service marketing strategy contributed to strengthening customer engagement and perceived value, while service quality such as timeliness, reliability, and responsiveness directly influenced customer trust and overall satisfaction levels. The findings suggest that improving both the strategic and operational aspects of service delivery is critical to achieving customer satisfaction in maritime transportation. Future research may consider adding mediating variables such as brand image or customer loyalty, as well as exploring comparative studies across different regions or transportation providers.
