Abstract

Kemasan galon yang beredar dipasar memiliki bentuk, variasi dan fungsi yang sama, sehingga dimungkinkan keputusan pembelian yang dilakukan oleh pelanggan didasarkan pada merk dan kebisaan atas produk yang di konsumsi. Karena itu melakukan penelitian terkait kemasan yang sesuai dengan dengan preferensi konsumen atas kemasan galon menjadi penting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang kemasan galon berdasarkan bentuk, variasi dan fungsi, dengan memeprtimbangkan preferensi konsumen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode konjoin, yaitu suatu metode untuk mengetahui penilaian konsumen terhadap suatu produk tertentu didasarkan pada atribut yang ada pada produk tersebut. Abstract

Pada era globalisasi saat ini perkembangan dalam sektor pembangunan sangat pesat, mulai dari arsitektur, desain interior, dan furniture. Perkembangan furniture saat ini juga sangat pesat, dapat dilihat dari produk yang dihasilkan pabrik maupun yang di custom, saat ini banyak orang yang memilih desain yang minimalis. Desain yang minimalis memiliki desain yang simple namun juga bisa memberikan kesan bersih, fungsional dan modern. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah perancangan desain meja resepsionis agar terlihat nyaman, tertata, minimalis dan terkesan modern. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode pahl and beitz dengan cara menerapkan metode pada pahl and beitz. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan metode pahl and beitz terdapat Langkah-langkah yang memudahkan dalam proses pembuatan meja resepsionis yang akurat dalam hal kenyamanan,keindahan dan keakuratan ukuran.

Abstract

Production costs owned by each company are certain to increase along with the increase in the amount of demand for finished products in the market. However, the increase in the number of requests for finished products is not proportional to the level of profit generated, making it difficult for companies to control cast flow, therefore allocating costs, and determining the amount of costs becomes something important in order to reduce the cost of production per unit. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of cost allocation used to determine the cost of goods manufactured to obtain the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the company in order to achieve ideal profits. The method used is the full costing method. The Full Costing method provides a comprehensive overview of production costs, including direct and indirect costs, and provides information relevant to the company's strategic decision making. The results showed that the application of the Full Costing method provides a more comprehensive picture of production costs, so that the company is able to identify more precisely the cost of goods. So that the company is able to increase efficiency, optimize profitability in determining the cost of goods.

Abstract

PT. Weiss Tech has received a project order for the fabrication and installation of coffee packaging production machines from PT.XYZ, scheduled to start on June 19, 2023, with a deadline of June 24, 2024, spanning 54 weeks. The project has been ongoing for 16 weeks with an update indicating that only 20% of the planned progress has been achieved, which suggests that it may not be completed on time. To evaluate the project's performance, the EVM  method will be used to identify critical tasks and reduce the project duration using the Precedence Diagram Method with the help of MS Project software. The evaluation shows negative values for CV and SV variances, as well as performance index SPI<1 and CPI<1, indicating poor project performance. The critical tasks identified include electrical & instrument installation, machine & utility installation, trial work, assembly, quality control, polishing, milling, turning, cutting, and design. Design work has been identified as the most influential on the critical path. By rescheduling the project plan, positive values for CV and SV have been achieved. With the SPI value of 1.13 and CPI value of 1, it can be concluded that future project performance will be completed faster and within budget.

Abstract

Abstract: This study presents a novel approach to improve the precision of tubular bending processes. By integrating a torch burner into the conventional manual bending tool, a method was developed to soften the workpiece prior to bending, effectively reducing defects attributed to forced bending. The research includes manual calculations and SolidWorks simulations for comparative analysis. The proposed tool design, utilizing a 40 mm x 40 mm x 700 mm L-profile iron frame with ASTM A36 material, demonstrated successful bending of pipes with ∅ outside 25 mm and ∅ inside 20 mm, achieving a seamless 180° bend from the initial 0° position. The results highlight enhanced bending accuracy and underline the potential of torch-assisted bending for broader applications in fabrication and manufacturing processes. Highlight: nnovative Integration: Integration of a torch burner with a manual bending tool for enhanced precision in tubular bending processes. Defect Reduction: Softening the workpiece before bending reduces defects associated with forced bending, ensuring higher quality outcomes. Abstract

The research was conducted to solve the problem of determining the price of goods of production correctly based on the cost of raw materials, labor costs, and overhead costs on the CV xxx of previously priced traditional managers which resulted in sales sometimes felt too expensive and sometimes earned too small profits. Quantitative descriptive research is used to solve this problem to produce conclusions from data related to the determination of substantive prices based on the method of Job Order Costing. The main object of the CV xxx is a detailed note of the need in the manufacture of glass wardrobes and classic dress wardros. The data used in this research are primary data and skunder data, i.e., primary Data is the details of raw materials, raw material specifications, price per unit of raw material, labour cost, etc. Whereas data skunder is a discipline related to the methods of research that can help solve the question of determination of the price of the substance. Research shows results where based on the traditional management of CV xxx, there is a mistake in determining overhead costs. This confusion is detrimental to the company in getting too low profits. Comparison of previous management with the Job Order Costing method can find out where a particular variable should be in the overhead cost category in order to obtain the price of the production commodity that can determine the company's losses.

Abstract

The coffee business, especially during the pandemic, faces challenges in maintaining operations and ensuring profitability. This study focuses on Javadwipa_roastery & Coffee Shop, exploring its Break Even Point (BEP) to assess financial sustainability. Through direct observation and interviews, data on fixed and variable costs were collected. Findings revealed monthly fixed costs of Rp. 1,000,000, and variable costs including raw materials, equipment, labor, and transportation, totaling Rp. 7,223,500. The BEP analysis for Cappuccino and Matcha Latte showed unit BEP at 468.33 and 200.71 respectively, with corresponding Rp. BEP at Rp. 3,275,058.28 and Rp. 3,008,565.31. Understanding BEP aids in strategic planning and decision-making, crucial for achieving optimal profitability in the coffee business.

Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, competition between companies is an inevitable phenomenon along with the spread of businesses in this field. To maintain competitiveness, making the right management policies, including in the calculation of production costs, is crucial. The determination of production costs must be done carefully in order to provide a balanced profit. This study aims to analyze the company's method of calculating production costs with a variable costing approach. The research design is descriptive with the use of quantitative data through secondary data sources. The results showed that the variable costing approach resulted in a fairly low amount of production costs, namely Rp. 6,165,220,371, compared to the company's original calculation of Rp. 6,271,616,917. Thus, calculating the production budget using the variable costing method can be an effective strategy to face competition in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

In a company increasing productivity is very important. This increase can be done by improving technological innovation. The technology that was redesigned was the roaster machine. The aim of this research is to make machine use and maintenance easier with new designs that may be more user-friendly and more sophisticated control technology or more durable materials that can improve machine performance and longevity. The method used in this research is the Zero One method. The Zero-One method is a decision development method that aims to determine alternatives (criteria). The results of the analysis from this research are to create a machine that can be made in accordance with ergonomic standards for workers, thereby reducing downtime and reducing production cycle times, thereby allowing for increased output without increasing working hours.
