Abstract

This study explores the managerial role of the Kiai in maintaining the mental health of santri at Pondok Pesantren Al-Qodiri 02, an institution known for integrating religious teachings with psychological support. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis over six months. The findings reveal that the Kiai enhances santri's mental health by offering emotional connections and spiritual guidance and fostering a nurturing environment. The Kiai also serves as a role model, teaching values such as patience, perseverance, and devotion to Allah, which promote psychological resilience and character development. However, the study’s focus on a single pesantren limits its generalizability to other institutions with different leadership structures and cultural dynamics. Additionally, the reliance on qualitative data may not capture broader trends in mental health across pesantren. The study emphasizes the need for pesantren administrators to create a supportive ecosystem that strengthens Kiai's role in fostering mental well-being and equips santri with life skills for challenges beyond the pesantren setting.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslims in the world. The potential for zakat is also great. In Jember itself, which is a barn for NU residents, it has not been able to exploit this potential. During covid-19 economic pandemic has decreased. Fundraising is an urgent matter for LAZISNU Jember. Fundraising are the continuity of the institution. In the new normal period with the right fundraising techniques LAZISNU Jember can increase the amount of fund revenue. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation. Research location of the Institute for Zakat, Infaq, and handout Nahdlatul Ulama (LAZISNU), Jember. The results of this study are: 1) The urgency of fundraising at LAZISNU Jember for the sustainability of LAZISNU programs in Jember 2) Implementation of LAZISNU fundraising in Jember using fundraising techniques. Direct fundraising and indirect fundraising and structural strengthening innovation 3) Supporting factors: Great potential because of 26 MWC only 8 MWC were activated, optimization of publications on www.nu.or.id and social media, freedom in managing ZISWAF , and LAZISNU Jember inclusive. While the inhibiting factor: LAZISNU, Jember does not have an official Amil who is paid every month, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic must follow health protocols, and most people choose to donate directly to mustahik.

Abstract

Developing the quality of educators in Islamic boarding schools plays a crucial role in realizing competitive Islamic boarding schools, adapting to current developments, and being open to renewal. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of collaborative development with educators to create competitive Islamic boarding schools. The study employed a qualitative approach with a multi-site case study design at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School and Amanatullah Islamic Boarding School. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation using purposive sampling techniques, and analyzed using triangulation. The research results show that, first, educator quality development planning tends to be conducted periodically, taking into account the complexity of the problems, the characteristics of human resources, and the needs of the development program. Second, the implementation pattern of educator quality development varies according to the governance and leadership style applied; the more participatory and adaptive the leadership, the greater the opportunity for integration between traditional values ​​and modern management practices. Third, educator quality evaluation generally includes aspects of institutional performance, the effectiveness of the learning process, educator self-reflection, and analysis of the institutional context. Fourth, follow-up to mutual development requires the implementation of sustainable mutual management principles realized through training programs, a tiered evaluation system, and consistent stakeholder involvement. This finding confirms that systematic and contextual development of educator quality is an important factor in building the competitiveness of Islamic boarding schools in the modern era.

Abstract

Islamic education is one of the main pillars in the development of individual character and knowledge based on religious values, especially in this case the application of the transformational leadership model in Islamic education. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of the transformational leadership model in Islamic education at the Miftahul Ulum Bengkak Wongsorejo Banyuwangi Islamic Boarding School Foundation. The method used in this study uses a descriptive qualitative research method, with informants as the heads of the Foundation and the administrators of the education sector. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the transformational leadership model at the Miftahul Ulum Bengkak Wongsorejo Banyuwangi Islamic Boarding School Foundation involves establishing an inspiring vision, open communication, and empowering staff. The head of the foundation and the education administrators are active in disseminating the vision, encouraging constructive dialogue, and providing support and training to improve staff skills. The impact of this practice is very positive: the motivation of teaching staff increases, which leads to better performance, while students experience increased enthusiasm for learning and academic achievement. The evaluation shows that this strategy is effective, although there are obstacles such as limited resources that are being addressed by adjusting the strategy and increasing support.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and sharia label on saving decisions on customers of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk KCP Jember Gajah Mada. Bank Syariah Indonesia is one of the largest Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia that provides banking products and services according to sharia principles. Factors such as brand image and the existe    nce of sharia labels are considered to have an important role in influencing customer decisions to save at Islamic banks. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to Bank Syariah Indonesia customers at KCP Jember Gajah Mada. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the effect of each independent variable on saving decisions. The results showed that brand image, and sharia label simultaneously and partially had a significant effect on customer saving decisions. Brand image has a positive and significant effect, which shows that the positive image of Islamic banks can increase customer interest in saving. In addition, the sharia label, which shows compliance with sharia principles, also makes a significant contribution in influencing customer decisions. In conclusion, brand image, and sharia label are important factors that influence customer decisions in saving at Bank Syariah Indonesia. Therefore, the bank is expected to continue to strengthen the brand image, provide education about sharia products, and maintain the integrity of the sharia label to increase customer loyalty and trust.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam administrasi sekolah telah menjadi suatu kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Artikel ini membahas penerapan strategi inovatif dalam digitalisasi sistem administrasi sekolah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan excellent service kepada siswa, orang tua, dan staf. Melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital sekolah dapat mempercepat proses administrasi, meningkatkan transparansi, serta mempermudah akses informasi bagi seluruh pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi digitalisasi, termasuk kesiapan sumber daya manusia dan infrastruktur, Dengan demikian, transformasi digital tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, tetapi juga memperkuat hubungan antara sekolah dan komunitasnya, memberikan pengalaman layanan yang lebih baik, dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam merancang strategi digital yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan memenuhi harapan pengguna di era digital. Abstract

Abdurrauf As-Singkili merupakan tokoh ulama dan ilmuan yang terkenal di Nusantara pada ke-17. Ia ahli dalam berbagai keilmuan seperti tasawuf, fikih, ilmu hadis, tafsir dan sebagainya. Ia juga memiliki banyak karya seperti salah satu karya monumentalnya yaitu Turjuman al-Mustafid. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahan tentang kontribusi Abdurrauf As-Singkili terhadap pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan literatur dengan mengkaji berbagai refrensi tentang kontribusi Abdurrauf As-Singkili terhadap pendidikan Islam. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi Abdurrauf As-Singkili terhadap pendidikan Islam yaitu melalui mengembangkan pendidikan Islam dengan membangun lembaga pendidikan Islam dan sebagai pengajar, menyebarkan agama Islam dengan Tasawuf melalui pengajaran dan penyebaran Tariqot Syatariyah, serta karya- karya yang ditulis oleh Abdurrauf As-singkili telah memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi perkembangan Islam di Nusantara khusunya di wilayah Aceh.
