Abstract

This is the era of very advanced technology , robots are one of the most useful tools for humans. This is useful for helping humans in all things work to be faster and more efficient. Which in this Covid-19 pandemic condition we are required to keep our distance from one another. PT. B'right PLN Batam is one of the leading energy companies in Batam which still uses a manual system in sending files. With this line follower car, it will be able to ease the work of employees in PT. B'right PLN Batam, and can reduce direct contact with other people in this pandemic condition. This study aims to design a line follower mobile robot to deliver files at the office using Android to help deliver files quickly and efficiently. The method used in this research is to utilize the MIT app inventor, which is used to design and control robots on Android Smartphones. The programming used to control this robot is Arduino. There are several important parts in this line follower car, namely Arduino, sensors, and drivers. With the Line Follower Car Robot, it is expected to be able to help employees of PT. B'right PLN Batam in carrying ourtheir duties.

Abstract

Ornamental fish has become a fishery commodities that have greats potentials to be developed. Keeping ornamentals fish is one of the populars hobbies in developed countries and is gaining popularity in many developing countries. The aquarium is one of the containers for cultivating and maintaining ornamental fish, both freshwater and seawater fish. Ornamental fish can live and grow well in an aquarium requiring some good care including feeding, oxygen, light, and good water quality. Timely feeding and monitoring of water conditions in the aquarium is not easy. Ornamental fish owners usually pay less attention to water conditions because they are busy. Therefore we need a water condition monitoring system and automatic feeding. This study aims to design an internet of things (iot)-based smart aquarium that can monitor pH, temperature and turbidity of aquarium water as well as an IoT-based automatic feeding system. Design a smart aquarium using NodeMCU ESP8266, pH Sensor SEN0161, Temperature Sensor DSB18B20, Turbidity Sensor SEN0189. The design in this research includes hardware design (electrical and mechanical) and software design. Monitoring and controlling of this system can be done using a smartphone that is connected to the controller via auth from the blynk application. Testing on the tool using an aquarium. The results of the study concluded that the design of a smart aquarium based on the internet of things (iot) can work well

Abstract

An electronic lamp is a lighting source for both inside and outside the house. One of the key components to carrying out daily tasks is the extensive use of lighting. Lights can be used for more than just illumination; they can also be utilized for décor, as a sign that the owner is at home, and to increase security. The Internet of Things (IoT), which is defined as a system of networks that may be connected to a machine or other object that serves as a receiver or sends data using a network connection, is essential for enabling the light control system and is the key to success in remote light control. The Internet of Things is another technology that necessitates a process and the cooperation of supporting hardware. Researchers will create a tool for controlling lights using Whatsapp as the media controller, NodeMCU as a support tool, Wifi as the internet network, and the Arduino IDE application as the controller in this study. As technology advances, so do the demands for lighting control, particularly in terms of energy savings and ease of monitoring. Based on this context, this study will employ Whatsapp as the media controller, as there is still very little light control found in Whatsapp, despite the fact that almost everyone, particularly in Indonesia, uses Whatsapp as a chat application. It is intended that the model device created by this researcher will be used to monitor lights as well as save electricity when the lights are not in use. This lamp controller is built with NodeMCU V3 CH340 and Relays that are linked together with Jumper Cables and other supporting components. This tool is created as part of an effort to advance technology and provide comfort and convenience in controlling lights. Based on the results of testing the designed equipment, the system built on the tool is capable and successful in controlling lights via Whatsapp by typing commands set in the Arduino IDE. The presence of a light control feature via Whatsapp will be a new breakthrough that anyone can use to save electricity and make it easier for lamp users to control lights remotely.

Abstract

Making a water level control system using the Arduino-based prototyping method means making a tool to regulate the water level of the pool automatically. The Arduino platform is used to develop the system, which serves as the main regulator that can control various related components and sensors. The prototype design process enables rapid development of iterative control systems. The system was developed and upgraded to meet the desired performance requirements by using Arduino modules, water pump actuators, water level sensors, and additional components such as LCDs, ultrasonic sensors, buzzers, and relays. At first, the water level sensor is used to measure the water level in the tank. The data from the sensor is processed by the Arduino, and a corresponding control signal is generated. This control signal regulates the water pump to discharge water from the tank according to the set point. When developing this prototype, an important factor to consider is the accuracy and reliability of the control system. When designing this tool, scalability and ease of use were also considered. It is expected that this water level control system tool can provide efficient water level regulation solutions for various applications, such as agricultural irrigation, automatic irrigation systems, water level control storage tanks, and others, using an Arduino-based tool approach.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an Arduino-based system for counting and tracking people in SMK Tunas Baru Berkarya's auditorium. The system will use infrared sensors on the doors to detect visitors and Arduino as the central system to process the data. It will also control the doors using servo motors. The study will involve several stages, including selecting and configuring the infrared sensors, developing Arduino programs for visitor detection and counting, and adjusting the servo motors for door control. Testing and evaluation will ensure the system's reliability and effectiveness in monitoring room capacity and controlling door access based on available capacity. The research's outcomes are expected to benefit the auditorium management by optimizing room usage, enhancing visitor safety, and providing a seamless experience for visitors.

Abstract

Today's IOT (Internet Of Things) technology is very popular, with interactions between objects and humans can communicate with each other or objects with objects can also communicate with each other, as well as the application to security in anticipating unexpected fires, or monitoring the situation using early detection sensors, so a smoke detection prototype is made using the MQ-2 sensor and milk detection using the DS18B20 sensor. This detection tool uses Arduino Mega, (MQ-2) and DS18B20, then if there is a fire to extinguish using a Selenoid Valve tool used for water dispensing valves, then to neutralize the air using an Exhaust Fan, this Exhaust Fan is also used to neutralize the air in the room even though there is no smoke detected, The point is to maintain the room temperature so that it is not impermeable and hot in the room, then don't forget also for the notification using two SIM800L notification systems for SMS and NODE MCU ESP32, for NODE MCU ESP32 this uses a Wireless Connection, the two notifications work alternately if one of the notification tools does not work. The method used in this research uses the experimental method. This tool is tested and implemented on a square 50 x 50 cm of hardware and provides the expected and appropriate results. The temperature will be detected above 50°C (Celsius).

Abstract

Technology in this era is growing rapidly and cannot be separated in many significant influences. In this era many systems are very fast and efficient in a good and the best way including security system such as automatic lock security. The security system which are very much found in the community and one of the security system is security for house fence. In this system there is so many and dangerous problems that cause robbery and the fence being destroy by bad people starting from several case and a lot of criminals that been found because the lock security system is not in a good way. There is a lot of fence and house are not in a good and automatic security dan make everyone is safe and lock the house especially the fence without feeling worried.In this research the authors conducted some major impact based on the background that has been explain by creating an automatic lock system for fences using arduino technology which is the center and the core of this research and this research is using fingerprint as a tool to be able to open an automatic lock system and it can open.

Abstract

Swallow's nest is a material that provides great benefits, especially in relation to health and also as a profitable export/import commodity. However, it is not surprising that the swallow's nest business requires a lot of capital and swallow's nest products must be of high quality. Therefore, in swallow nest processing there are several important stages such as cleaning, shaping, drying and packing. From the above process, it is clear that the scale is a measure of water content which also affects the selling price, so a swallow hatcher is needed. The drying process greatly affects the quality of the swallow product/nest. If the swallow nest is too dry, there is a decrease in the weight of the material which can be dangerous. If it is too moist, mould will form and there may also be dirt. At this stage, drying is still done manually with the help of a fan. The fan is turned on for an hour, but sometimes the workers forget to turn off the fan, causing the swallow's nest to dry too much, which also results in a waste of electricity. The design of this dryer uses a sensor to turn on the lights and a timer to determine the time needed. With this tool can help workers in managing swallow nest dryers. The existence of this tool also helps businesses to be able to dry swallow nests automatically. Keywords: Dryer, Sensor, Timer, and Arduino

Abstract

ABSTRACT It is currently impossible to forecast whether it will rain or be sunny in Indonesia, particularly in the city of Batam. This continues to be a significant issue for those who are drying clothes, particularly in wet weather. Weather like this makes some people concerned because they don't have time to pick up the clothesline in wet circumstances, so they frequently leave clothing that have dried in the sun to travel. In addition, Indonesia's tropical climate frequently has extended rainy seasons, and there are several places with high rainfall, which gives us pause when air-drying garments outside the house. Most individuals hang their clothing to dry on the house's terrace during the rainy season. This is done to prevent precipitation from drying out on clothes when their owners are out and about. The author derived a design for an automatic clothesline puller from the description of the issue given above. This device incorporates a rain sensor and a light dependent resistor sensor into an Arduino Uno microcontroller. For this tool to draw the clothesline to a location that is shielded from rainwater, it first uses the rain sensor and the LDR sensor to sense the weather around it. When the sensor does not get light, the equipment will translate rain. The tool will move the clothesline to a location where it is exposed to the sun when the sensor detects sunshine since it will interpret this as a sign that it is hot outside. While raindrops are being detected by the rain sensor. When drying clothing during the rainy season, it is hoped that the development of an automatic clothesline puller will help people feel less anxious.
