Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of substitution of corn with local ingredients on the quality of broiler meat using meta-analysis technique. This study used meta-analysis technique to integrate 55 data from 9 journals that contain information about replacing corn with local feedstuffs. The meta-analysis technique begins with collecting data from several scientific publications that contain tannin and saponin levels. Furthermore, the data was tabulated in the form of database with the help of microsoft excel, in this tabulation process the units of each data are equalized, after that the data was tabulated and analyzed using comprehensive meta-analysis version 3. The effect of corn replacement on the quality of broiler meat was not significant, this can be seen on the content of the percentage of carcasses, carcass weights, and cholesterol of meat was not different. The results show that the distance between the given model and the actual model indicates that there was decrease in the amount of cholesterol in meat with the replacement of corn in feed ingredients (0.05<P<0.1). The conclusion from the results of this meta-analysis was that the replacement of corn does not improve the quality of the broiler carcass.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memprediksi harga pakan jagung menggunakan salah satu model matematika yang disebut fuzzy time series. Data yang didapatkan yaitu data historis atau rentan waktu dari berbagai literasi seperti hargaweb.id, jagungbisi.com, dan BPS dari tahun 2020-2021, kuarter pertama. Data tersebut nantinya akan dijadikan bahan perhitungan.  Data dianalisa menggunakan R Studio. Kemudian algoritma fuzzy time series. hasil penelitian fuzzy time series menghasilkan prediksi harga pada jagung menggunakan time series. Memprediksi harga akan cenderung berubah dari kisaran Rp/ 4.000-4.400,- yang mana tingkat error hanya ada di level 8,23.Logika fuzzy atau time series mampu menyajikan prediksi harga jagung pada tahun 2020-2021 dengan keakuratan dengan tingkat error 8.23% artinya tidak berbeda jauh. Kedepannya banyak model matematika yang bisa digunakan untuk memprediksi dari harga bahan baku atau aspek lainnya pada industri peternakan.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui kualitas silase kelobot jagung dengan penambahan aditif tannin. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelobot jagung, dan tannin chestnut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan terdiri atas P1(-): Kelobot jagung tanpa penambahan aditif; P2(-): Kelobot jagung + 5% dedak padi; P3: Kelobot jagung + tannin chestnut 0.5%, P4: Kelobot jagung + tannin chestnut 1%, P5: Kelobot jagung + tannin chestnut 1.5%. Data dianalisa dengan analisis ragam apabila terdapat perbedaan nyata maka dilanjutkan uji Duncan. Hasil menunjukan pemberian tannin chestnut mampu memberikan pengaruh nyata (p < 0,05) terhadap kualitas fisil silase. Hasil menunjukan hasil yang berpengaruh nyata yaitu suhu, warna, aroma, tekstur, dan pertumbuhan jamur. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian tannin chestnut mampu optimal hingga taraf 0,50% yang disimpan selama 30 hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengestimasi dan memvalidasi akurasi estimasi nilai enegi pada bekatul berdasarkan komposisi kimia pakan. Data dikelompokkan pada database berdasarkan hasil analisis proksimat dan database feedpedia.org. Data proksimat (PK, LK, SK dan abu) dengan nilai energi bruto dihitung tingkat korelasi dengan menggunakan korelasi Pearson two- tailed.  Perhitungan nilai koefisien determinasi dihitung dengan software SAS University Edition Red Hat 64 bit. Nilai koefisien determinasi dan Nilai root mean square error diukur untuk mengetahui nilai simpangan baku pada estimasi nilai kandungan energi. Persamaan regresi yang dapat digunakan sebagai estimasi kandungan energi pakan pada bekatul adalah GE = -245.675 + 8.345 PK + 21.456 SK + 84.134 LK + 13.234 Abu (Bekatul). Nilai taksiran yang diamati berdasarkan estimasi masih dapat diperkirakan dari database yang tersedia.

Abstract

The correlation between sex and additive on blood biochemistry, and gut morphometric of broiler was investigated. First experiment were day-old-chicks of Ross 308 placed among control and experimental. The first experiment were used 56 Ross 308 broiler with aged 35 days including 28 males and 28 females as control, and 28 males and 28 females supplemented with or without probiotics. The second experiment were used nonlinear models of Gompertz models to predict between sex and probiotic effect on the growth performance. The data analyses were uses two-way of variance between probiotic and sex (male-female). At the end experiment (35 aged d) thus probiotic and sex were significant difference (p > 0.05) on live weight (g), glucose (mg/dL), and villus height (µm). Data were statistically analyses using of SAS University version 4.0 red hat (64-bit). To sum up, the interaction between group × sex was significant for body weight (g), villus height (µm) and trends reduce amount of glucose (mg/dL) of broiler and non-linear models were effective to comparison between in vivo and predicted models

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the dietary effect of red oncom (Neurospora sitophila spp) and black oncom (Rhizopus oligosporus) on performance and intestinal properties of broiler in different levels. The materials used for this research were 100 unsex broiler (20 days old) with Lohmann strain. Method was used in this experiment was Completely Randomize Design with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment were as follows, T0: basal diet without additive, T1: basal diet + (0.25% red oncom (Neurospora sitophila spp) and 0.25% black oncom (Rhizopus oligosporus), P2: basal diet + (0.5% red oncom (Neurospora sitophila spp) and 0.5% black oncom (Rhizopus oligosporus), T3: basal diet + (0.5% red oncom (Neurospora sitophila spp) and 0.25% black oncom (Rhizopus oligosporus),  and T4: basal diet + (0.75% red oncom (Neurospora sitophila spp) and 0.5% black oncom (Rhizopus oligosporus). The result showed that red oncom (Neurospora sitophila spp) and black oncom (Rhizopus oligosporus) has significantly enhanced (p<0.05) on intestinal properties. It can be concluded that red oncom (Neurospora sitophila spp) and black oncom (Rhizopus oligosporus) in feed gives a positive result on the broiler intestinal properties.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung biji  asam (Tamarindus indica L) fermentasi sebagai subtitusi bungkil kedelai dalam pakan terhadap kualitas karkas ayam pada pedaging. Pengukuran variabel yang digunakan adalah bobot karkas, persentase karkas, bobot daging dada, persentase deposisi daging dada, bobot paha bawah dan persentase paha bawah ayam pada pedaging. Data dianalisis dengan analisis variansi (anova), apabila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah P0: Pakan basal tanpa penggantian bungkil kedelai, P1 pakan dengan  pengganti bungkil kedelai dengan biji asam fermentasi 25%, P2: pakan dengan  pengganti bungkil kedelai dengan biji asam fermentasi 50%, P3: pakan dengan  pengganti bungkil kedelai dengan biji asam fermentasi 75%, P4: pakan dengan  pengganti bungkil kedelai dengan biji asam fermentasi 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan tepung biji asam fermentasi sebagai pengganti bungkil kedelai memberikan pengaruh tidak nyata (P > 0,05) terhadap bobot karkas, persentase karkas, bobot dada, persentase deposisi daging dada, bobot paha bawah dan persentase paha. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan tepung biji asam (Tamarindus indica L) fermentasi dalam pakan dapat dijadikan sebagai subtitusi bungkil kedelai dan memberikan hasil yang sama sampai dengan level penggunaan 50% terhadap kualitas karkas yaitu bobot karkas, persentase karkas, bobot dada, persentase deposisi daging dada, bobot paha bawah dan persentase paha bawah ayam pedaging.
