Abstract

Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, diungkapkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an bagi peserta didik, diperlukan waktu bagi mereka untuk berlatih membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Selain itu, penting untuk memahami karakteristik masing-masing peserta didik dan memilih metode yang paling sesuai untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an. Kelancaran dalam proses pembelajaran Baca Tulis Al-Qur'an sangat bergantung pada pengajar yang melaksanakan proses pengajaran dan bagaimana metode diterapkan selama pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam proses ini adalah metode yanbu'a. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran Baca Tulis Al-Qur'an yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca serta menulis Al-Qur'an di kalangan peserta didik kelas VII MTs As'Adiyah Al-Muhajirin di Kecamatan Wonomulyo Kabupaten Polewali Mandar meliputi; sarana prasana yang memadai, dukungan dari pimpinan Madrasah, kesadaran peserta didik, dan pendidikan para guru. Di sisi lain, terdapat beberapa hal yang menjadi penghalang dalam menerapkan pembelajaran Baca Tulis Al-Qur'an untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca serta menulis Al-Qur'an bagi peserta didik kelas VII MTs As'Adiyah Al-Muhajirin di Kecamatan Wonomulyo Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, antara lain; konsistensi dalam penerapan metode yang digunakan, kurangnya media pembelajaran, tingkat keseriusan peserta didik seperti minimnya antusiasme membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an, serta faktor lingkungan.

Abstract

The problems studied in this research are: (1) What are the problems of students in memorizing the Qur'an at the Tahfidz Darussaqof Wonomulyo House, Polewali Mandar Regency, (2) What are the solutions for memorizing the Qur'an at the Tahfidz Darussaqof Wonomulyo House, Polewali Mandar Regency? This type of research is qualitative research that builds meaning based on field data. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by giving meaning to the data that has been collected, and conclusions are drawn from this data. The results of observations from the problems of students in memorizing the Qur'an at the Tahfidz Darussaqof Wonomulyo House, Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency are in the form of solutions found such as holding moral recitations, orderly administration, going for recreation or Rihlah, istiqomah in memorizing the Qur'an, forming whatsapp groups, adding teachers or ustads, implementing the Tazmi system and the Daras system 41 Times in teaching students to memorize the Qur’an. Abstract

Bullying merupakan ancaman serius bagi perkembangan karakter santri di lingkungan pesantren, termasuk di Pondok Pesantren Al-Risalah. Perilaku ini tidak hanya bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai keislaman, tetapi juga berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental dan motivasi belajar korban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk bullying yang terjadi di pesantren, faktor penyebabnya, serta strategi efektif dalam pencegahan dan penanganannya melalui pendekatan nilai-nilai Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan santri, pengasuh, dan pengurus pesantren secara aktif dalam setiap tahap penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk bullying di pesantren meliputi intimidasi verbal, kekerasan fisik, serta pelecehan sosial. Faktor utama yang memicu bullying antara lain dinamika senioritas, kurangnya pengawasan, serta minimnya pemahaman santri tentang dampak negatif bullying. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diterapkan program sosialisasi, penguatan mekanisme pengawasan, pendampingan psikologis, serta internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari santri. Program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan perubahan sikap santri terhadap bullying, serta menciptakan lingkungan pesantren yang lebih aman dan harmonis.Kata Kunci: Bullying, Karakter, Moral, Pesantren, Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of ṭumaʼnīnah in prayer based on the perspective of the Qur’an and its relevance to peace of mind and mental health. This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature research, namely collecting verses from the Qur’an related to ṭumaʼnīnah, zikr, and peace of mind, these verses are analyzed using the tahlili method, by examining various perspectives of classical and contemporary exegesis from linguistic, theological, and contextual points of view, then relating them to Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s psychological theory which developed the theory of flow. The results show that tuma’ninah in the Qur’an is closely related to the concept of peace of mind (nafs al-muṭma’innah), which is grounded in faith, zikir, gratitude, and belief in Allah’s help. Prayer performed with devotion and tuma’ninah not only improves the quality of worship but also acts as spiritual therapy that can reduce stress, anxiety, and mental disorders. This research is significant for the development of Islamic psychology, as it shows that the concept of ṭumaʼnīnah in the Qur’an, as practiced in prayer, is not merely ritualistic but also has psychological implications relevant to peace of mind and human mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious tolerance values through the concept of Living Hadith within the framework of religious moderation in Manado City, North Sulawesi. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through interviews with religious leaders, community figures, local residents, as well as observations of interfaith social and religious activities. The analysis integrates hadith texts with field findings to explore how hadith values on tolerance, non-violence, humanity, national commitment, and respect for local traditions are internalized and manifested in social practices. The findings indicate that these values are embedded in communal traditions such as Mapalus, religious celebrations, customary events, and interfaith harmony. The Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB) plays a significant role as a platform for dialogue and conflict prevention. This study affirms that the Living Hadith concept contributes to fostering inclusive tolerance and strengthening religious moderation in Manado.

Abstract

The matter of ‘iddah is often viewed merely as a normative obligation without uncovering its underlying philosophical dimensions, particularly those related to the protection and dignity of women after divorce or the death of a husband. The background of this study lies in the gap between the Qur’anic text (das sollen), which stipulates a waiting period, and social reality (das sein), which often perceives ‘iddah as a burden or a restriction on women’s activities. This research aims to examine the Qur’anic verses on ‘iddah using a thematic exegesis (mawḍū‘ī) approach in order to analyze its embedded dimensions of psychological, social, and biological (lineage) protection. The method employed is qualitative research based on library studies, utilizing content analysis of primary sources (the Qur’an and authoritative tafsir works) as well as secondary literature. The main findings show that the stipulation of ‘iddah in the Qur’an—such as in Q. al-Baqarah 2:228 and al-Ṭalāq 65:4—constitutes a legal mechanism that is pro-women, as it holistically safeguards lineage clarity, provides space for emotional recovery after trauma, and affirms the dignity of women as respected legal subjects. This study emphasizes that ‘iddah is not merely a ritual obligation but a form of shar‘i instrumentation that functions to preserve the purity of lineage while reinforcing women’s honor against stigma or negative social perceptions.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Sorogan method in understanding the Kitab Kuning at Pondok Pesantren Salafiayah Parappe, located in Campalagian District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The Sorogan method, which involves students learning directly in front of a teacher, has proven to be effective in helping students understand classical texts, Arabic language, tafsir, fiqh, and hadith. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study, collecting data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that this method accelerates students' understanding of the Kitab Kuning due to the direct interaction between students and teachers. However, challenges such as heavy academic workloads, differences in students' abilities, and limited numbers of teachers are present. Despite these challenges, the Sorogan method has proven effective in enhancing students' understanding at this pesantren.

Abstract

Language plays a vital role in communication and consists of four main skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Proficiency in these skills ensures fluency, and several factors—particularly intensive courses—contribute to its development. This study aims to evaluate the impact of an intensive Arabic program on enhancing learners’ speaking proficiency. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 196 first-year students who completed an eight-week intensive program in the Department of Arabic Language during the 2021/2022 academic year, with 138 valid responses. Secondary data were obtained from books, research papers, and online sources. Qualitative and quantitative methods were applied to analyze the data using MS Excel. The findings indicate that the intensive course significantly improved students’ speaking proficiency, along with their motivation, confidence, vocabulary, and interaction patterns. The study recommends implementing similar initiatives, such as Toastmaster and Gavel Clubs, to further enhance learners’ fluency inside and outside the university.مستخلص البحث: تلعب اللغة دورًا أساسيًا في عملية التواصل، إذ تتكوّن من أربع مهارات رئيسة هي القراءة والكتابة والاستماع والتحدث. وتمثّل الكفاءة في هذه المهارات أساس الطلاقة اللغوية، وتسهم الدورات المكثفة في تطويرها بفاعلية. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تقييم أثر برنامج اللغة العربية المكثف في تنمية الكفاءة الشفوية لدى المتعلمين. تم جمع البيانات الأولية عبر استبيان وُزّع على 196 من طلاب السنة الأولى الذين أتمّوا برنامجًا مكثفًا لمدة ثمانية أسابيع في قسم اللغة العربية خلال العام الأكاديمي 2021/2022، وتم استلام 138 استجابة. أما البيانات الثانوية فشملت الكتب والمقالات العلمية والمصادر الإلكترونية. استخدم المنهجان النوعي والكمي لتحليل البيانات بواسطة برنامج MS Excel. أظهرت النتائج أن الدورة المكثفة أسهمت في تحسين مهارة التحدث لدى الطلاب، إلى جانب تعزيز الثقة بالنفس والدافعية وتوسيع المفردات وتطوير أنماط التواصل. ويوصي البحث بتطبيق مبادرات مماثلة مثل أندية Toastmaster وGavel لتعزيز الطلاقة اللغوية داخل الجامعة وخارجها.
