Abstract

Tolerance among religious adherents in Indonesia as a plural state is necessary. Therefore, this current research aims at seeking religious tolerance among people in Manado, classifying and analyzing the implementation of hadith on religious tolerance in the city of a thousand churches. This research is qualitative descriptive research using the social-phenomenon approach. Primary and secondary data were collected through a literature review supported by empirical research. Empirical research data were collected through interviews and observation. Data were analyzed descriptively using an interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which covers data collection, data reduction, data display, data verification, and conclusion. This research shows that hadith related to tolerance in diversity are classified into five categories, i.e., giving and taking gifts or food to and from non-Muslims, trading interaction with non-Muslims, non-Muslim allowance praying at the mosque, respecting non-Muslims' corpses, and eating allowance with non-Muslims containers. Among those five categories, the only third category is not shown explicitly in the daily life of Manado people. It could be caused by the church's numbers quantitatively in Manado being more than the mosque numbers. The hadith implementation for tolerance indicates that the diversity of the Manado people does not always affiliate with the act of intolerance. Moreover, tolerance acts among 'different' people are commonly found in their daily life. It can be easily found during a public religious celebration, e.g., Ramadhan month, Idul Fitri, Christmas day, new year, and other religious ceremonies.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the meaning of knowledge, the source of knowledge, and the process of obtaining it as well as God's appreciation for those who have knowledge based on the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an. There are two types of data used, namely primary data in the form of qurani data, while secondary data in the form of supporting data related to this study. Data processing consists of data organization, verification, transformation, merging and sorting information mainly based on chronology and then analyzing the use through qualitative methods so that a more precise and systematic is born. The results of this study show that the word science with its various derivatives is repeated in the Qur'an 854 times. Science is one of the qualities of Allah, therefore this trait is called al-Alim (All-Knowing). He is the source of knowledge and all the knowledge that man gains from him is knowledge gained through various efforts or the so-called kasbi science or knowledge gained without effort called ladunni science. Then God rewarded those who were knowledgeable by appointing him as caliph on this earth, forbidding him to follow something without knowledge and bestowing it upon him a high degree.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kreatifitas guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI MA Nuhiyah Pambusuang pada masa pandemi Covid-19dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI MA Nuhiyah Pambusuang pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan berdasarkan tempat penelitiannya, dan berdasarkan datanya penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun posisi peneliti dalam penelitian ini sebagai instrumen kunci yang dibantu dengan pedoman wawancara dan pengamatan dalam pengumpulan data. Dan teknik utama dalam pengumpulan datanya adalah melalui wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data yang diperoleh peneliti menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga prosedural setelah pengumpulan data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data atau pengambilan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitin ini adalah: Pertama; Usaha guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI MA Nuhiyah Pambusuang adalah melalui: a) pembagian modul pelajaran secara tematik, b) pemberian tugas pekerjaan rumah, c) pemberian tugas media bergambar, dan d) pembentukan kelompok belajar untuk belajar di rumah guru. Kedua; Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI MA Nuhiyah Pambusuang adalah: a) tidak semua siswa memiliki smartphone dan bisa mengakses aplikasi massenger, b) keaktifan siswa berkurang karena kegiatan siswa di rumah padat, c) siswa kurang bersemangat belajar secara daring, d) capaian pembelajaran tidak sesuai KKM Standar, dan e) mengukur dan mengharapakn efektifitas pembelajaran secara maksimal pada masa pandemi covid 19 mustahil adanya.

Abstract

This study examines the use of Arabic Language Learning Method in understanding the yellow book at Santriwati Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School, Campalagian District. This type of research includes Descriptive Qualitative. The data source consists of two, namely Primary and Secondary data. The data obtained through interviews, observations and documentation are then processed through the process of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that in increasing knowledge and understanding of the yellow book in Pondok Peasantren applied several methods including the Talaqqi method, the combined method and the discussion method. The factors that become obstacles and supporters in the application of Arabic language learning are internal and external factors. Internal factors include spiritual and physical conditions while external factors include social and nonsocial environments, while supporting factors include teachers, students and curriculum.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kunyi, Kecamatan Anreapi, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar yang merupakan salah satu desa yang menjadi lokasi kegiatan KKN-T Institut Agama Islam DDI Polewali Mandar Tahun 2022. Pilihan lokasi ini sangat baik karena desa ini berada di lokasi pegunungan, namun pegunungannya tidak terlalu tinggi dan jaraknya tidak terlalu jauh dari ibukota kabupaten Polewali Mandar, sehingga dapat diakses dengan mobil. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan selama 48 hari selama Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dengan pendekatan berbagi yang efektif, cepat diterima oleh masyarakat setempat, dan program-programnya yang dilaksanakan mendapat dukungan dari masyarakat setempat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan Berbagi dengan masyarakat menghasilkan tingkat penerimaan masyarakat yang lebih cepat terhadap mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata dan program tersebut dapat terwujud dengan baik karena mendapat dukungan dari masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aimed at comprehending Hadiths of ‘command to fight non-Muslims’. Understanding the hadith of the Prophet  PBUH by using macro and micro approaches can avoid radicalism, intolerance, and even acts of terrorism. This research employed a qualitative descriptive by using the thematic analysis method. The researchers found that, in microanalysis studies of the hadith, there were 62 riwayahs with various lafaz variants, recorded in 8 kutub al-hadis (canonical and non canonical hadiths). The Hadiths’ command to fight non-Muslims' status was authentic both from the aspect of sanad and matn. Meanwhile, the macro analysis study of the hadith concluded that the practice of the hadith command to fight Non-Muslims must be understood in certain circumstances, not the generality lafaz of hadith. Textually, the hadith ‘command to fight non-Muslims’ can be applied if; 1) non-Muslims fought openly against Islam such as in the case of the Khaibar war, or 2) they refused the invitation of monotheism from the Prophet PBUH, such us what happened to the Bani Thaqif. After they were repulsed in the battle of Hunain, they fled to the Bani Taif area. Bani Tsaqif was besieged for 40 days, some of them surrendered and pledged to Islam. But if non-Muslims did not attack Muslims, or they made agreements in one country (mu'ahad), or they had the status of conquest and control of Muslims (dhimmi), then, their blood, soul, family, and property must be protected. The position of both non-Muslims and Muslims in the country was the same, they were citizens and the government must protect them.الملخصتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى وصف فهم الأحاديث حول "أمر محاربة غير المسلمين" عبر السياق الكلي والجزئي. في محاولة فهم الأحاديث النبوية عبر السياق الكلي والجزئي يمكنها أن تجنب فهم التطرف والتعصب وحتى أعمال الإرهاب. هذا البحث نوعي ووصفي باستخدام منهج التحليل الموضوعي. وجد هذا البحث أن الدراسة للأحاديث النبوية حول "أمر محاربة غير المسلمين" عبر السياق الجزئي ثَم اثنان وستون حديثا بألفاظ مختلفة مسجلة في ثماني كتب الأحاديث. الأحاديث حول "أمر محاربة غير المسلمين" صحيحة سندا ومتنا. أمر محاربة غير المسلمين يجب أن تُفهم من نواحٍ معينة، دون فهمها من حيث معاني ألفاظها العامة. يمكن تطبيق أحاديث "أمر محاربة غير المسلمين" نصيًا إذا؛ 1) قاتل غير المسلمين علنًا ضد الإسلام كما حدث في حرب خيبر، أو 2) كانوا مترددين في تلبية نداء التوحيد من النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، مثل ما حدث لبني ثقيف وذلك بعد صدهم في غزوة حنين حيث أنهم فروا إلى منطقة بني الطائف. كان بنو ثقيف محاصرين لمدة 40 يوما بعضهم استسلم وتعهد بالإسلام. ومع ذلك، إذا كان غير المسلمين لم يبدأوا في القتال، أو التزموا بالمعاهدة تحت مظلة الدولة الإسلامية، أو كانوا ذميون تحت سيطرة الدولة، فدمائهم وأرواحهم وأهاليهم وأموالهم محمية من قبل المسلمين. فإن وضعهم في نظر الإسلام كمسلمين أنفسهم، فهم يتمتعون بمكانة المواطنين الذين يجب حمايتهم.

Abstract

This study aims to describe manuscripts of the Qur'an in Pallarangan Hamlet, Simbang Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province. This research is a qualitative research based on the results of direct observation and also interviews. There are two data sources in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is in the form of information from manuscripts and the main resource persons, namely the caretaker of the manuscript, Mr. Abdul Haris, the Head of Simbang Village, namely Mr. Rahmadi, the Head of Pallarangan Hamlet and community leaders, while the secondary data is in the form of information that has relevance to this research. In this study, a codicology study approach was used that examined the physical condition of the manuscript and a philological study that examined rasm and qira'at. The results of this study show that information about manuscript history is only sourced from stories that have been passed down for generations. This manuscript has a function in the life of the local people, one of which is in the tradition of medicine. The manuscript also has several symbols, such as hizb markers, juz, waqaf, and nishful qur'an. In addition, it also has illumination at the beginning and end. The verse separator sign is not accompanied by a verse number. This research also reveals aspects of qira'at where it was found that this manuscript uses the qira'at of Imam 'Ashim of Hafsh. As for the aspect of writing rasm, it was found that there were some lafadz that did not conform to the Ottoman rules of rasm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada kajian al-Istisna’ dengan illa dalam surah al-Taubah, Penelitian ini termasuk Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan bahasa Arab. Data terdiri dari data primer berupa ayat al-Qur’an sedangkan data sekundernya bersumber dari kitab-kitab, hasil-hasil penelitian, jurnal, majalah serta dokumen-dokumen yang lain yang terikat dengan. cara kajian serta pemahaman data yang dipakai yakni kajian sintaksis adalah dengan meninjau tiap-tiap yang terdiri dari separuh peraturan mengenai al-Istits\na>’ dengan berdasarkan pada teori-teori sintaksis secara umum. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan al-Istisna dengan Illah dalam surah al-Taubah terulang sebanyak 22 kali yang terdapat di 19 ayat dengan berbagai jenis yaitu: al-Istisna al-Tam sebanyak 5 kali, al-Istisna al-Muafarrag 18 kali, al-Istisna al-Mujab 1 kali, al-Istisna Ghairu Mujab sebanyak 21 kali dan al-Istisna al-Muttasil sebanyak 5 kali serta tidak didapatkan al-Istisna al-Munqati’ Sementara berdasarkan hukum-hukum al-Mustasna’ dengan illa dalam surah al-Taubah terdiri dari wajib di-i’rab mansub atas dasar al-Istisna’ sebanyak 1 kali, boleh di- i’rab mansub atas dasar al-Istisna dan boleh juga di-i’rab al-Badlu kepada al-Mustasna’ minhunya sebanyak 4 kali, sementara yang di-i’rab sesuai dengan yang dituntut olehʻamil sebelumnya sebanyak 16 kali.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the meaning of Tabarruj according to al-Thabari in tafsir Jami' al-Bayan An Ta'wil Ay al-Qur'an. This study is a literature review that uses primary data from Qur'anic verses related to Tabarruj, as well as secondary data in the form of al-Tabari's interpretation of Tabarruj in his tafsir. The data is then reduced and compiled, and verified to arrive at a conclusion. The results showed that the word Tabarruj only appears once in the Qur'an, but there are related variants of the word, such as al-Buruj which appears 4 times, al-Mutabarrijaj in one verse, and Tabarrajna in one other verse. From these verses, it can be defined that Tabarruj is the act of a woman deliberately displaying her beauty and adornment to men who are not her muhrim. This is a forbidden behavior and has negative effects such as damaging self-honor, bringing disaster from God, and can trigger adultery.

Abstract

This is study aims to describe the role of language camps in improving Arabic speaking skills for KIBAR IAI DDI Polewali Mandar students in the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is qualitative research that builds meaning based on field data. This qualitative research procedure produces descriptive data in the from of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Data was collected by conducting observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. Testing the validity of the data used is triangulation, member check, increasing persistence. The results of this study are 1) the role of language camps in improving Arabic speaking skills for KIBAR IAI DDI Polewali Mandar students for the 2021/2022 academic year is to form an Arabic language environment. 2) The inhibiting factors is the lack of ability of the committee in directing students who have not been able to speak Arabic well. Supporting factors include the Arabic environment throughout the day and mastery of Arabic vocabulary. 3) The language camp program has a positive impact, namely being able to speak Arabic in daily activities.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran mu‘askar al-lugah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab pada pelajar KIBAR IAI DDI Polewali Mandar tahun akademik 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang membangun makna berdasarkan data lapangan. Prosedur penelitian kualitatif ini menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang diamati. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Pengujian keabsahan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi, member check, dan meningkatkan ketekunan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1) peran mu‘askar al-lugah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab pada pelajar KIBAR IAI DDI Polewali Mandar tahun akademik 2021/2022 ialah membentuk lingkungan bahasa Arab. 2) Adapun faktor penghambat yaitu kurangnya kemampuan panitia dalam mengarahkan pelajar yang belum mampu berbahasa Arab dengan baik. Faktor pendukungnya meliputi lingkungan bahasa Arab sepanjang hari dan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab. 3) Program mu‘askar al-lugah memberikan dampak positif yaitu mampu berbicara menggunakan bahasa Arab dalam aktivitas sehari-hari.
