Abstract

The swift progress of digital technology necessitates an educational overhaul to equip the younger generation for 21st-century challenges. The Merdeka Belajar curriculum, a government initiative, aims to enhance education quality and foster skills pertinent to contemporary demands. This community service endeavor empowers teachers in Karangrejo village to develop Merdeka Belajar curriculum infused with digital skills. The training, involving teachers from three elementary schools, focuses on comprehending the curriculum's principles and crafting lesson plans integrating digital competencies like data literacy, programming, and media skills. Employing a participatory approach, the program merges lecture sessions, group discussions, and lesson plan development exercises. Participants gain access to digital resources and online platforms to aid curriculum implementation. Results reveal heightened comprehension of the curriculum and the significance of digital skills integration. Teachers successfully devise innovative, contextually relevant lesson plans employing digital tools to augment student engagement and motivation. This community service initiative significantly contributes to nurturing digital era proficiencies through Merdeka Belajar Curriculum development training. Enhanced teacher abilities in digital skills integration aim to prepare students as adept individuals poised to confront future challenges.

Abstract

Literacy activities in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) can be implemented through reading learning activities. The objectives of implementing this Community Service are (1) to provide training with the theme of strengthening literacy by implementing reading learning with the syllable method, (2) to provide assistance when teachers carry out learning, (3) to conduct discussions after providing assistance to find out strengths and weaknesses. The implementation method is through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Training is carried out by delivering topics: the concept of learning the reading method with the syllable method, pedagogical competence, and introduction to reading books with the syllable method consisting of 4 volumes and how to teach it. In mentoring activities, teachers are observed when implementing learning by applying the concepts obtained during training. Meanwhile, a discussion meeting after mentoring is held to evaluate learning and find solutions for follow-up. In general, the implementation of community service was successful. This can be seen from the optimal attendance during training, the enthusiasm of teachers when carrying out learning, and the enthusiasm of teachers in conducting discussions after mentoring.

Abstract

This study explores the cultural role of weton, a traditional Javanese calendrical system, in determining auspicious marriage dates in Ngadiluwih, Kediri. Using a Jungian archetypal framework and qualitative descriptive methods, data were collected through interviews with two adat leaders and observations of local wedding rituals. The findings reveal that favorable weton pairings such as Sunday Legi and Friday Wage embody archetypes of harmony (tentrem), affection (jodo), and social cohesion (rukun). In contrast, combinations like Tuesday Kliwon and Wednesday Wage reflect shadow archetypes associated with conflict (pegat), hardship (mlarat), and emotional distress (sengsara). These patterns function as cultural symbols rooted in the collective unconscious, guiding moral and practical choices in marriage. The study highlights weton as a living symbolic system and proposes its integration into cultural education and heritage preservation programs.

Abstract

Urgensi dalam Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterampilan siswa kelas X SMAN Mojo 1 Kediri dalam menulis teks anekdot menggunakan media scrapbook, selain itu terdapat masalah yang ditemukan yaitu kurangnya keterampilan siswa dalam menulis, kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam memilih bahan ajar dan media pembelajaran yang masih menggunakan cara tradisional dalam mengajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran scrapbook serta ada atau tidaknya pengaruh media pembelajaran tersebut terhadap siswa kelas X SMAN Mojo 1 Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian jenis  kuantitatif dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif, reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis. Instrumen penelitian yaitu pre-test dan post-test. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu berupa sampel berjumlah 75 orang yang diambil menggunakan random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data statistic deskriptif dan inferensial (uji t).  Hasil penelitian ini yaitu : Hasil pretest menunjukkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot dengan kriteria kurang dan kriteria cukup, hasil posttest menunjukkan kriteria baik dan sangat baik. Penggunaan media pembelajaran scrapbook dalam penelitian ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Mojo Kediri. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu kelas X SMAN 1 Mojo Kediri terdapat pengaruh dari diberikannya perlakuan. Karena berdasarkan hitungan statistik, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikannya perlakuan dengan media pembelajaran scrapbook mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan Siswa dan Guru aktif menggunakan media scrapbook untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks anekdot.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the analysis of language errors in outdoor media such as shop signs, billboards, banners found in Kediri Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with three stages of the pre-research process, namely (1) preparation stage, (2) implementation stage, (3) completion stage. Forms of language errors were found with 59 data on writing errors, 7 data on punctuation errors, 6 data on letter usage errors, a total of 72 data. Then language errors were found in the type of shop signboard media 43 data, billboards 15 data, pamphlets 14 data. From all of the data, the results of the study were dominated by the most errors found in the type of shop signboard media and the most dominant form of language errors found was writing error data. From the data findings, it turns out that awareness to be able to refer to good and correct writing is still lacking. Keywords: Language,language errors, outdoor media

Abstract

Abstract: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan Karang Taruna dalam memasarkan produk secara mandiri melalui platform digital dengan memanfaatkan kesenian kuda lumping sebagai basis pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: (1) sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengembangan produk kreatif berbasis kuda lumping, (2) pelatihan manajemen usaha mikro dan kewirausahaan, (3) pelatihan digital marketing dan penggunaan platform e-commerce, serta (4) pendampingan berkelanjutan dalam proses produksi dan pemasaran. Target luaran kegiatan adalah terbentuknya Sanggar Kreatif Kuda Lumping sebagai wadah produksi dan pemasaran, terciptanya minimal 2 jenis produk kreatif berbasis kuda lumping dan beroperasinya akun media sosial dan toko online yang dikelola secara mandiri oleh Karang Taruna. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan kewirausahaan peserta. Rata-rata skor pre-test adalah 48,5 (dari skala 100), sedangkan rata-rata skor post-test meningkat menjadi 76,8, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 58,4%. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kapasitas kewirausahaan pemuda desa, melestarikan budaya lokal melalui inovasi produk kreatif, serta membuka peluang ekonomi baru yang berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat Desa Karangrejo. Dengan penguasaan pemasaran digital, Karang Taruna akan mampu menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas dan mengembangkan ekonomi kreatif berbasis budaya lokal secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw learning model on the negotiation text writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Kediri in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects consisted of two classes: a control class that did not use the Jigsaw model and an experimental class that applied the Jigsaw model. The instrument used was a negotiation text writing test. The results showed a clear difference in negotiation writing skills between students who learned using the Jigsaw model and those who did not. The average score in the control class was 70.16, while the experimental class scored 79.44. The hypothesis test produced a significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05), indicating that the Jigsaw model had a positive and significant effect on students’ negotiation text writing skills. These findings confirm that the Jigsaw model is an effective strategy for improving students’ writing abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi penggunaan gaya bahasa sarkasme warganet pada kolom komentar akun Instagram @najwashihab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Data penelitian berfokus pada ungkapan komentar warganet berupa kata, frasa, klausa, maupun kalimat kompleks yang mengandung gaya bahasa sarkastik yang diunggah oleh pengikut akun Instagram @najwashihab. Metode yang dilakukan dengan proses pengumpulan data berupa metode simak. Teknik penyimakan dilakukan dengan cara melakukan tangkap layar (screenshot) setiap komentar yang dipandang masuk ke dalam bentuk dan fungsi gaya bahasa sarkasme. Selanjutnya, peneliti melakukan pencatatan terhadap setiap data yang telah dihasilkan. Pencatatan tersebut berfokus pada gaya bahasa sarkasme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk gaya bahasa sarkasme meliputi sarkasme proposional, sarkasme leksikal, sarkasme like prefixed atau awalan, dan sarkasme ikolusi. Fugsi gaya bahasa sarkasme meliputi fungsi penolakan, larangan, informasi, penegasan, pendapat, perintah, pertanyaan, perbandingan, persamaan, dan penyampaian sapaan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumbangan ilmu pengetahuan khususnya pengguanaan gaya bahasa sarkasme dalam media sosial dan kajian pragmatik.
