The approach used is descriptive qualitative research, through this method will describe the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters in PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency. The implementation of character education from an early age is important in shaping children's character by utilizing the golden period of their growth. Therefore, educators are expected to have the ability to instill character values in early childhood. The implementation and planning as well as implementation in the habits carried out by children are certainly inseparable from the role of teachers in developing children's character. Based on the results of observations with teachers at PAUD Kamboja, Tunggaling Village, Banggai Islands Regency, it can be concluded that the role of teachers in stimulating disciplined characters is that a teacher always provides a good example to children such as always being patient, meticulous, coming early to greet the arrival of their students, getting used to being disciplined in queuing when washing hands, being able to put things in their place and being caring towards others. Obstacles often experienced by teachers are the lack of responsibility, participation and support from parents and differences in children's comprehension that have not been able to foster a strong sense of self-confidence to interact in the classroom, so they must be given the right encouragement and stimulation so that children can accept and are able to instill a disciplined character gradually.

This study aimed to improve children’s social interactions through the application of the group work method in Group B of Gunung Bale State Kindergarten, Donggala. Conducted in July 2025, the research involved 15 children—7 boys and 8 girls—and employed a classroom action research design consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research process was divided into three phases: pre-action, Cycle I, and Cycle II, to observe the extent of change in children’s social interaction skills. The observed aspects included helping each other, cooperation, understanding conversations, and communication. The results revealed a significant improvement from the pre-action stage to Cycle II. The percentage of children categorized as “Very Well Developed” increased from 23.33% in Cycle I to 45.00% in Cycle II, while those in the “Not Yet Developed” category decreased from 35.00% to 3.33%. Abstract

Gross motor development is an important aspect in early childhood growth because it plays a role in training balance, coordination, agility, and muscle strength that supports daily activities, so that targeted stimulation through fun play activities is needed. One relevant game is hopscotch, which requires children to jump, maintain balance, and coordinate body movements so that it can stimulate gross motor skills optimally. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design model of Kemmis and McTaggart with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, and combines qualitative analysis through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, and quantitative analysis by calculating the percentage of children's development in the categories of Not Yet Developing (BB), Starting to Develop (MB), Developing According to Expectations (BSH), and Developing Very Well (BSB). The results of the study showed a significant increase in children's gross motor skills from pre-cycle to cycle II in the aspects of balance, coordination, agility, and muscle strength, so it can be concluded that hopscotch games are effective as an active, fun, and contextual learning strategy in supporting the optimal development of early childhood gross motor skills.

Abstract

Early childhood education contributes significantly to building the foundation of children's development, including language, which is the foundation of communication, early literacy, and social-emotional skills. However, observations show that most children aged 5–6 years still experience difficulties in oral language, such as difficulty telling stories, difficulty answering questions, and limited vocabulary. The purpose of this study was to improve children's oral language skills through the application of interactive storytelling methods. The study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design model of Kemmis & Mc Taggart, which was implemented in two cycles on 10 children in Group B of Kindergarten. Data collection was carried out through observation, performance assessment, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively with triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed an increase in oral language skills in three main aspects, namely fluency, accuracy, and vocabulary. In the first cycle, the majority of children were in the "Beginning to Develop" and "Developing as Expected" categories, while in the second cycle there was a significant increase with most children reaching the "Developing Very Well" category. The application of interactive storytelling with a variety of media, teacher reflection, and active child involvement has proven successful in creating more interactive and meaningful learning. This study concludes that storytelling is an effective strategy for stimulating early childhood oral language skills while strengthening self-confidence, creativity, and social interaction. The practical contribution of this research is that it provides a reflective storytelling model that early childhood education teachers can adapt in their daily learning.

A total of 15 children from Tut Wuri Handayani Kindergarten participated in the study. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test observations conducted before and after the implementation of Prezi Video media. The findings revealed a significant improvement across all three aspects, with most children progressing from the "Emerging Development" category to "Developed as Expected" and "Very Well Developed" after the intervention. These results indicate that Prezi Video media is an effective tool for enhancing early childhood understanding and application of religious and moral values.
