Abstract

Technology-based distance learning assistance program is a community service program aimed at teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Demak. The need for technology-based learning is currently increasing. The purpose of this PKM activity is to provide knowledge, training and mentoring to teacher partners related to technology-based distance learning. The method used in this service is to provide interactive training and mentoring. Furthermore, in the training process there is a two-way interaction so as to provide opportunities for SMK N 1 Demak teachers as trainees to contribute their ideas, opinions, thoughts, and experiences. While the implementation of mentoring is carried out in several stages, namely: planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation. The result of this service activity is that teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Demak are able to simulate and practice technology-based distance learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of satire and politeness in the 2024 Vice PresidentialCandidate debate using qualitative methods. The theory used for the satire aspect isKeraf's theory, and for the politeness aspect, Leech's theory. The data collectiontechnique used was listening and note-taking. The results of this study indicate that thedebate still contained the use of satire and the use of politeness was still lacking. This isevidenced by the results of the satire data, which produced 18 data points, and thepoliteness data, which produced 38 data points.

Abstract

This research aims to integrate Resource Advantage (RA) Theory with Islamic values, especially the concept of maslahah, as a strategic approach to create a sustainable and ethical competitive advantage. RA Theory emphasizes the importance of superior resource management as a key factor in achieving a competitive position in the market. However, this theory tends to be oriented towards achieving financial benefits alone without paying attention to social or ethical aspects. On the other hand, the concept of maslahah in Islam prioritizes broader welfare, including benefits for individuals, society, and the environment, as well as avoiding harm. The integration of RA Theory with the maslahah principle offers a new conceptual framework that balances business interests with social responsibility. This approach emphasizes that resource management is not only geared towards maximizing profits, but also to provide sustainable and equitable benefits for all stakeholders. Thus, companies that implement strategies based on RA Theory and maslahah are expected to be able to effectively improve marketing performance while strengthening their reputation as business entities that are committed to ethical and sharia values. Furthermore, the implementation of this integration can help companies in dealing with the dynamics of the global business environment, including sustainability issues, corporate social responsibility, and consumer demands that are increasingly critical to business practices. The results of this research are expected to make a theoretical contribution by expanding the study of marketing management that is oriented towards ethics and sustainability, as well as practical contributions in the form of strategic recommendations for sharia-based and conventional companies that want to increase competitiveness through resource management based on Islamic values. Thus, this research not only enriches the academic literature, but also becomes a practical guideline for business actors in building sustainable, competitive, and equitable businesses.

Abstract

The concept of market orientation is an important cornerstone in modern marketing strategies, where companies not only focus on a deep understanding of customer needs, but also actively monitor competitors and maintain internal coordination between departments. Jaworski and Kohli (1993) emphasized that market orientation is one of the key factors that can affect a company's performance. Through the use of market information, companies can adjust their business strategies to meet current customer needs while anticipating future needs. A strong market orientation is believed to be able to make a significant contribution to increasing the company's competitiveness in the long term. However, if market orientation is based solely on materialistic goals and worldly gains, then the value of sustainability and societal well-being is often overlooked. From an Islamic perspective, market orientation needs to be based on sharia values, especially the principle of maslahah. This concept emphasizes that every business activity must bring benefits, avoid harm, and be in harmony with maqasid al-shariah, which is to protect religion, soul, intellect, descent, and property. Thus, market orientation is not only directed at the fulfillment of customer satisfaction and competitive advantage, but also at the achievement of blessings and social welfare. The integration of maslahah values in market orientation gives birth to the concept of Maslahah Market Responsiveness, which is the ability of companies to respond quickly and appropriately to market dynamics while still being based on ethics and social responsibility. This is an advantage in itself because it not only improves marketing performance, but also strengthens the company's image as a trustworthy and ethical entity. By combining conventional market orientation and sharia values, companies can build a sustainable competitive advantage, increase customer satisfaction, and make a positive contribution to society at large.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in the development of culinary MSMEs in Central Java Province. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collection conducted through interviews, observations, and secondary document review. Data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which allowed for the systematic processing and interpretation of the gathered data. The findings revealed that the key strengths of culinary MSMEs in Central Java include clear market segmentation, strategic locations, and product innovation. These strengths enable the businesses to reach targeted customers effectively and maintain competitiveness in a dynamic market. However, the main weaknesses identified include limited utilization of digital technology and a lack of managerial development, which hinder their ability to scale and improve operational efficiency. The study also highlighted significant opportunities for growth, such as government support for MSMEs and the rapid development of digital technologies that can enhance marketing and operational processes. Despite these opportunities, the threats facing these businesses include intense competition from both local and global players, as well as a low level of interest in entrepreneurship among the younger generation, which limits the growth potential of new businesses. Based on the SWOT analysis, the study proposes a development strategy matrix that MSMEs and policymakers can use to address weaknesses, capitalize on opportunities, and mitigate threats. This strategy emphasizes the need for digital transformation, investment in managerial skills, and fostering an entrepreneurial culture to ensure the sustainable growth of culinary MSMEs in the region. The findings provide valuable insights for both business owners and policymakers to support the development of the culinary sector in Central Java

Abstract

Pecuk Village is one of the villages in Mijen District, Demak Regency, Central Java Province. Pecuk Village covers an area of 256.019 hectares with a population of 2,597 people. Almost half of the residents of Pecuk Village fall into the category of pre-prosperous families, amounting to 43.69%. The village government continues to strive to improve the welfare of its residents, one of which is through food security programs such as mushroom cultivation. The purpose of this activity is to improve the partners' understanding and skills in oyster mushroom cultivation, as well as to enhance their organizational management knowledge regarding mushroom business groups at the village level. The community service method involved lectures/briefings, discussions and Q&A sessions, practical sessions, evaluation, and assistance. The activity was carried out using the planned methods and stages. The socialization and practical training on how to prepare growing media for oyster mushrooms, along with the use of a baglog press tool, increased the residents' enthusiasm for mushroom cultivation. The high level of community participation in this program indicates that the activity was well received. The approach taken helped increase participants' motivation to carry out proper oyster mushroom cultivation. In addition to receiving equipment support, the community also gained technical knowledge on media preparation and maintenance, which contributes to the program's sustainability. As a result, this initiative is expected to serve as a positive first step in supporting household food security and improving the local economy.

Abstract

Lirik lagu album Taman Langit karya Noah mengandung banyak majas yang menarik untuk dikaji dalam kajian stilistika. Stilistika adalah ilmu yang di dalamnya mempelajari tentang keindahan bahasa. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk membahas tentang penggunaan majas yang terdapat pada lirik lagu album Taman Langit karya Noah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini, ditemukan 21 data lirik lagu album Taman Langit karya Noah, yang dapat dianalisis menggunakan majas. Data tersebut terdiri dari 6 majas simbolik, 3 majas metafora, 3 majas personifikasi, 2 majas simile, 3 majas repetisi, 1 majas paradoks, 1 majas pleonasme, 1 majas antitesis, dan 1 majas sinisme. Penting dilakukan penelitian ini karena dapat mengetahui penggunaan majas dan makna kalimat dalam lirik lagu album Taman Langit. Sehingga penikmat lagu tersebut dapat memahami maknanya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, dan publicity terhadap keputusan pembelian (studi kasus pada UMKM mebel di Desa Mulyoharjo) . Dalam penelitian ini, advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, dan publicity sebagai faktor independen, sedangkan keputusan pembelian sebagai variabel dependen. Purposive sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memilih jumlah sampel 105 responden dengan kriteria pembelian minimal 1 kali, yang kemudian dilakukan analisis regresi. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk menyeleksi pelanggan UMKM industri mebel di Desa Mulyoharjo. Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas sebagai pertanyaan untuk setiap variabel diperiksa pada tahap pertama. Untuk mengetahui dampak advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, dan publicity terhadap keputusan pembelian pada (Studi UKM Mebel di Desa Mulyoharjo) tahap pengujian tahap ke dua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keputusan pembelian produk mebel di Desa Mulyoharjo dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan oleh pengaruh advertising, personal selling, sales promotion dan publicity. UMKM mebel di Desa Mulyoharjo diharapkan dapat rajin update informasi di media sosial mengenai produk mebel dan meningkatkan komunikasi yang baik dengan calon pelanggan maupun pelanggan. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan keputusan pembelian sehingga terjadi kepuasan pelanggan dalam membeli produk mebel

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to examine and analyze the impact of profitability and growth opportunity on company value in healthcare companies listed on the IDX in 2018-2022. Method: The sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling. The data analysis method employed in this research was multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The research results show that profitability has no effect on company value, while growth opportunity has a negative effect on company value. Conclusions: This study concludes that profitability does not significantly affect company value, whereas growth opportunities negatively impact it. Limitations: This study has limitations, notably the low determination coefficient of 17.6%.    Contribution: The contribution of this research to companies in the healthcare sector is to provide insight into the importance of profitability and growth opportunities in increasing company value. Novelty: The novelty of this research compared to previous studies lies in three aspects: First, the inclusion of growth opportunity as an independent variable. Second, the use of the PBV indicator for measuring company value, as opposed to the Tobin's Q indicator used in prior studies. Third, the focus of this research is on the healthcare sector, in contrast to previous studies that focused on the food and beverage industry.

Abstract

Masa pandemi dan pascapandemi prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Muria Kudus masih melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring masih terdapat masalah dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa.  Tujuan penelitian ini pertama adalah untuk menganalisis kendala dan hambatan pembelajaran daring di Prodi PBSI Universitas Muria Kudus. Kedua untuk mengetahui solusi dalam mengatasi kendala dan hambatan pembelajaran daring di prodi PBSI Universitas Muria Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa hasil wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sulitnya mahasiswa dalam memahami materi, kedisiplinan mahasiswa berkurang, sinyal dalam pembelajaran daring terganggu, dosen kurang maksimal dalam memberikan penjelasan materi, tugas yang dikerjalan kurang maksimal.  Solusinya mahasiswa perlu diberi penjelasan materi yang lebih terstruktur, mahasiswa perlu diberi ketegasan agar disiplin kuliah dan disiplin mengirimkan tugas maksimal, sinyal yang kurang baik perlu diselingi pembealajaran tatap muka, dosen perlu memaksimalkan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring, tugas perlu diberi umpan balik agar mahasiswa lebih serius dan mengerjakan dan merevisi tugas.
