Abstract

Maharah kalam merupakan salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang ingin dicapai dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi muhadatsah yaumiyah dalam meningkatkan maharah kalam di Madrasah Diniyah Sayyid Muhammad Alawi Al Maliki Bondowoso. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pertama, bahwa seluruh santri dibiasakan untuk berbahasa Arab saat mengikuti pelajaran bahasa Arab di Madarasah Diniyah. Kedua, santri menjadi lebih percaya diri saat berbicara bahasa Arab tanpa perasaan malu dan takut salah. Ketiga, santri semakin rajin menghafal mufradat setiap harinya. Dan keeempat, santri selalu berlatih muhadatsah agar semakin fasih dan lancar saat berbicara, sehingga secara spontan santri mampu berkomunikasi dengan bahasa Arab di manapun dan kapan saja. Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pentingnya pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam dunia pendidikan modern sebagai solusi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosial seperti komunikasi, empati, dan kerja sama, sekaligus meningkatkan kinerja akademis siswa. Berbasis metode penelitian kepustakaan, studi ini menganalisis berbagai literatur untuk menggali hubungan antara pembelajaran kolaboratif, keterampilan sosial, dan hasil akademis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif berkontribusi pada peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan kepercayaan diri siswa, sekaligus memfasilitasi pemahaman akademis yang lebih baik. Namun, tantangan dalam implementasi pembelajaran kolaboratif, seperti kesiapan guru dan pengelolaan kelompok, tetap perlu diatasi. Studi ini merekomendasikan pelatihan dan dukungan bagi pendidik untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif. Dengan pendekatan ini, institusi pendidikan dapat lebih efektif mempersiapkan siswa untuk dunia kerja yang kompetitif dan kolaboratif.

Abstract

This qualitative study examines the implementation of maqāṣid al-sharī’ah within the Topeng Konah tradition of Bondowoso through a case study approach involving participant observation, in-depth interviews with 20 informants, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Topeng Konah serves as a sophisticated form of cultural resistance, utilizing performance symbols that integrate the principle of ḥifẓ al-bī'ah (environmental preservation) as a contemporary expansion of maqāṣid. The five primary characters—Bujang Ganong, Patih Pujangga, Prabu Kelono, Dewi Sekartaji, and Pujangga Anom—collectively reflect the implementation of ḍarūriyāt al-khams (the five essentials) in fostering social harmony within a pluralistic society. Thematic analysis identifies a three-stage value transformation: preservation, adaptation, and transformation, which converts local memories of tolerance into global messages. The study concludes that Topeng Konah is a manifestation of living maqāṣid, successfully creating a dialectic between universal Islamic values and local wisdom. This tradition offers an inclusive model of Islamic practice that remains highly relevant to the multicultural Indonesian context, demonstrating how traditional arts can facilitate the synthesis of religious law and cultural heritage.

Abstract

The current inquiry examines Bubur Suro (locally known as Tajhin Sora in Madura), an integral element of the Ashura tradition within the Bondowoso community. Beyond its physical form as a culinary dish, this tradition functions as a complex cultural artifact imbued with symbolic, historical, and social dimensions. This article aims to uncover the symbolic constructions, historical meanings, and social functions of Tajhin Sora in the context of the Islamic New Year. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the investigation gathered data through participant observation of rituals in East Java, in-depth interviews with cultural and religious leaders, and a comprehensive literature review. The findings reveal that Tajhin Sora serves as a material symbol of gratitude and spiritual victory, with historical narratives tracing back to the era of Prophet Noah. Socially, the ritual acts as a catalyst for social cohesion, intergenerational value transmission, and the reinforcement of Bondowoso’s cultural identity. The present analysis concludes that Tajhin Sora is a profound "living tradition" that continuously reproduces religious and socio-cultural values amidst modern shifts. Ultimately, the preservation of this tradition demonstrates the resilience of local culture in maintaining fundamental meanings within a contemporary framework

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep relasi pendidikan antara orang tua dan anak sebagaimana digambarkan dalam QS. Luqman. Dalam konteks modern, perubahan sosial dan budaya sering melemahkan komunikasi edukatif dalam keluarga, sehingga pendidikan kehilangan dimensi moral dan spiritualnya. QS. Luqman memberikan model pendidikan yang menekankan keseimbangan antara keteladanan, kasih sayang, dan kebijaksanaan dalam membentuk karakter anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data utama diperoleh dari QS. Luqman (ayat 12–19), dan sumber sekunder dari kitab tafsir seperti Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-‘Azhim, Tafsir al-Mishbah, Tafsir Al-Azhar, dan lainnya. Selain itu, juga bersumber dari buku dan artikel jurnal ilmiah yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui metode tafsir tematik (maudhu‘i) dan pendekatan pedagogis Qur’ani untuk menemukan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan yang bersifat universal dan aplikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa QS. Luqman menampilkan pola relasi pendidikan antara orang tua dan anak digambarkan sebagai dukungan dan bimbingan langsung, kualitas interaksi dan ikatan emosional, dan penanaman nilai dan karakter. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Qur’ani sebagaimana dicontohkan Luqman bersifat integratif, menghubungkan rumah dan sekolah dalam satu visi pembentukan karakter yang berlandaskan tauhid dan kebijaksanaan. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Luqman dapat menjadi model konseptual bagi pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam berbasis keluarga yang relevan dengan tantangan zaman.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Pesantren of Nurul Qarnain Jember. Based on initial observations, it was found that this Islamic boarding school has a peculiarity, namely being able to integrate local wisdom values in the education carried out in it, for example, in teaching Sufism, students are taught about the importance of harmony between themselves, society, and the environment. In addition, prayer activities involving students in Nasyid and Hadrah traditional art performances were packaged with the title Majlis Al Wishol. Through the qualitative-descriptive research conducted, it was found that the approach of integrating local values with Islamic teachings was proven to increase students' awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage while adhering to religious principles. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation showed that teaching methods involving local cultural practices, such as traditional performing arts and environmental wisdom, created a more engaging learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Kitab Kuning learning in Salaf Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) faces a dialectic between preserving authoritative tradition (sanad, talaqqi) and adopting collaborative pedagogical innovation (peer teaching). This study aims to answer: How is this dialectic manifested in learning experiences, and what kind of hybrid pedagogy model can be developed? This study positions itself within the discourse of pedagogical glocalization, analyzing the negotiation between the traditional structure of pesantren and modern learning approaches through the lens of social construction theory. A phenomenological qualitative study was conducted in two Salaf Islamic boarding schools in East Java, involving 20 students and 4 teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that: (1) Peer teaching enhances student agency and metacognitive awareness, yet remains framed within teacher authority; (2) Conventional methods preserve the spirituality of talaqqi but limit critical space; (3) Cultural resistance leads to the adaptation of a “guided musyafahah” model as a form of hybridization. The implication is that Kitab Kuning learning requires a contextual model that integrates authoritative transmission and collaborative exploration.
