Abstract

Penanganan kecelakaan kerja di industri manufaktur menjadi hal yang serius, hal ini berdampak pada cacat fisik maupun mental pekerja, terganggunya proses produksi dan dampak ekonomis perusahaan. Data terakhir PT. Khalifah Niaga Lantabura yang memproduksi mesin tepat guna, menunjukkan lebih dari 350 kecelakaan baik berat maupun ringan pada tahun 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lokasi atau stasiun kerja yang paling sering terjadi kecelakaan, mengetahui penerapan penggunaan alat pelindung diri dan menganalisis penerapan sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja melalui pendekatan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja dengan metode likelihood and consequence, rekomendasi perbaikan menggunakan Hazard Identification and Risk Assesment dan mencari sebab dasar menggunakan diagram Fault Tree Analysis. Lembar kerja manajemen risiko menunjukkan hasil skor risk rating untuk stasiun cutting 37, stasiun welding dan electricity 28, stasiun machining 16 dan stasiun finishing 17. Metode HIRA menunjukkan hasil dari keseluruhan identifikasi bahaya yang menjadikan potensi bahaya terkena mesin gerinda potong dari kegiatan proses pemotongan dengan mesin gerinda sebagai prioritas utama dengan risk rating number 16 dan indeks risiko bahaya 1B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lokasi atau stasiun kerja yang paling kritis yaitu stasiun kerja cutting dengan skor 37, dengan identifikasi bahaya terkena mata pisau, terkena mesin gerinda potong, gangguan pernafasan dan terkena panas dari alat las plasma. Pada stasiun cutting ditemukan nilai tertinggi dengan skor 16, yang terdapat pada jenis kegiatan proses pemotongan menggunakan mesin gerinda dengan potensi bahaya terkena mesin gerinda potong. Potensi bahaya terkena mesin gerinda potong menjadi prioritas utama dengan Severity Category 1 Score 4, Frequency Level B Score 4, Risk Rating Number 16 dan Indeks Risiko 1B. Abstract

ABSTRAKPT. Mondrian adalah sebuah perusahan yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur yang memproduksi produk garment antara lain Sekido, Begaya dan Dadung. Untuk mendistribusikan hasil produksinya, PT. Mondrian membagi wilayah pemasarannya kedalam empat regional. Dalam penelitian ini pendistribusian dibatasi dengan pusat distribusi ada di daerah Klaten sedangkan daerah tujuan  pada wilayah Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Keputusan operasional yang sangat penting dalam supply chain adalah penentuan rute pengiriman produk dari gudang pusat ke beberapa daerah tujuan, sehingga didapatkan rute yang dapat mengoptimalkan biaya transportasi. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu metode yang dapat membantu menentukan rute pengiriman yang efektif yaitu metode saving matrix dan metode generalized assignment. Metode saving matrix bekerja dengan membuat suatu matriks yang disebut matriks penghematan atau saving matrix, matriks ini berisi daftar penghematan yang diperoleh jika menggabungkan permintaan dua retailer dalam satu kendaraan dengan mempertimbangkan kapasitas kendaraan sedangkan metode generalized assignment bekerja dengan menentukan Seed Point atau titik tengah kendaraan kemudian menghitung jarak penyisipan untuk setiap retailer. Dari hasil pengolahan data didapat bahwa metode saving matrix memberikan rute yang efektif Kata Kunci : Metode Saving Matrix, Metode Generalized AssignmentABSTRACTPT. Mondrian is a company that specializes in manufacturing that produce garment products include Sekido, Begaya and Dadung. To distribute their products, PT. Mondrian divide into four regional marketing. In this research the distribution is limited to distribution centers in Klaten district, while the goal in the region of Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Region. The important decision operational  in  supply chain is determination of product delivery routes from the central warehouse to multiple destinations, thus obtained can optimize the route of transportation costs. Therefore needed a method that can help determine an effective delivery route of saving matrix method and generalized assignment method. Saving matrix method works by creating a matrix called the matrix of savings or saving matrix, this matrix contains a list of savings obtained if the combined demand of two retailers in a vehicle with a vehicle capacity while considering the generalized assignment method works by determining Seed Point or the midpoint of the vehicle and then calculate insertion distance for each retailer. Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is an intrakurikuler activity that combines Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi implementation to provide stock to students in the form oflearning experiences and community empowerment. KKN is a vehicle for the application and development of science, technology and arts, carried out outside thecampus, in time, working mechanisms, and certain requirements. KKN program at the Institut Sains & Teknologi AKPRIND Yogyakarta, as well as efforts to improve empathyand awareness of students in the community and apply science, especially science and technology in the midst of society. The process of implementing KKN also get guidance from lecturers. In the guidance of this KKN, lecturers also play a role in the implementation of community service. With the involvement of this lecturer is expectedto implement KKN can run in accordance with the policy of the Institute. Implementation of KKN is done by Gedong Kuning with work program to improve human resource skill to support entrepreneurship interest. Hopefully this program can be implemented well by the community to reduce unemployment and increase income.

Abstract

The process of delivering manufactured products to the hands of consumers, technically the product flow that occurs ie products in the form of finished goods will move from the factory warehouse to the consumer through a series of channels and distribution facilities. This distribution starts from the finished goods warehouse, distribution warehouse, retailer up to the wearer. The existence of various parties involved and coordinate in the flow of products from the factory to the consumer will form a system known as the supply chain system (Pujawan, 2010). Providers of fast products and services, the right time, and the desired conditions while still providing an optimal contribution to the company. Obstacles that are often encountered in the implementation of supply chain is the lack of coordination in terms of sharing information between the chain, thus causing distortion of information and trigger the occurrence of bullwhip effect that is a spike from the actual demand in the consumer level or downstream chain resulting in a very sharp spike at a far level from the upstream consumer or chain. The result of the bullwhip effect is the excess inventory, because demand is much smaller than the demand of the retailers, the unorganized production schedule, the unutilized production facilities optimally, because the production plan still has a high level of speculation. The use of information systems that have not been effective, causing the flow of information to be distorted or distorted, resulting in chaos in the flow of products that occur bullwhip effect and indirectly affect the cash flow of the company. The final result of the research is the application of Web-based Information Sharing System on the distribution channel that can be used efficiently and can provide information deviations that occur between the chains. The hope of stock monitoring results can be used as a control in looking at stock inventory in distributors and retail, so if there is a bullwhip effect, it will appear warning and immediately addressed by the distributor.Keywords: information sharing system, bullwhip effect, distortion of information.

Abstract

“Buruh Gendong” women in Bringharjo market Yogyakarta, still carry loads on their back physically and use manual big basket and shawl. When they carry loads on their back unnaturally, their body postures are too hunchbacked, their heads are bent down and their arms are up-and-down, etc. The performance of the women is not so ergonomic that can makes them have injury. Therefore, it is important to evaluate how to minimize the risk of work accident. Ergonomic evaluation with physiology approach and Quick Exposure Check Method are the methods that can know how much the loads of the labor is and how many risk of injury by evaluating pulse and body posture when they work. Based on the research of “buruh gendong”, it can be obtained (1) load that was carried on back by the labor around 50 – 100 kgs. It means that the load is overstep than load limit suggested load limit around 10-16 kgs, (2) work load classification based on pulse is high work load, (3) means of energy needed by the labor is 5.15182 kcal/minutes that is overstep standard 4 kcal/minutes, (4) total score of observer is 162 and total score of worker evaluation is 26 are classified as action level 4 which evaluation observed and changed at that time. The conclusion of this research is that “buruh gendong” women working in Bringharjo market tends to have injury risk. Therefore, it is suggested to design ergonomic work system by considering characteristics of work, worker, material, and work management.

Abstract

This study purpose to design an environmentally friendly forging machine in the group of "DL" and "PRT" pande besi who are partners in the Village of Palbapang, PandakDistrict, Bantul Regency. So far, the two partners have made agricultural equipment manually by treating raw materials or heated iron forged repeatedly using a hammer according to the desired form of agricultural equipment. For this process, 3 workers are needed, even though the current condition of the two groups of pande besi is the difficulty of finding workers, so that market demand related to agricultural equipment cannot be fulfilled.The research method is carried out after all data and information have been collected by designing an environmentally friendly forging machine with the help of showhare autocad, then looking for materials and tools that will be used to make the design of the forging machine, and making environmentally friendly forging machinesaccording to the specifications obtained . Before being submitted to partners, testing of the number of punches per minute, as well as the noise level. The results that have been achieved in this study are the creation of an environmentally friendly forging machine design with the capacity to forge machetes roughly 5 pieces / hour, as well as a one-time blow to the depressed workpiece depth of 2 to 3 mm with the number of blows produced 200 to 250 punch a minute, with the noisecaused to the forging machine at 60 dBA. From these results there was a 45% reduction in the noise figure from the previous one using a 110.17dBA manual tool to 60 dBA.The capacity of agricultural equipment production in the two partners of the iron court group increased to 2 to 3 times when compared to using human labor, and in the end could improve the welfare of the partner iron-iron group and the iron-iron society in general.

Abstract

CV. Cita Nasional is a company engaged in processing pure milk into pasteurized fresh milk and homogenization. This research was conducted to analyze defective products using the Six Sigma, Poka -Yoke and Kaizen approaches. Defective products in cup packaging from July 2017 to July 2018 is 20.71% with a target of a maximum of 3% product defects. The purpose of the research is to find out the company?s process capability with DPMO and the level of sigma capability, analyze the factors that cause product disability along with proposed improvements. The method used with Poka-Yoke and determine the action plan in quality control efforts with the Kaizen approach. The result obtained based on the Six Sigma state, namely the Define stage, obtained quality characteristics or CTQ in the form of attribute data 7 characteristic of the causes of disability. The results of the company?s perpormance baseline measurement at the Measure stage of the company were in the condition of 3.383 sigma with DPMO 29.586. The analyze phase is made control map, pareto diagram and makes fish bone diagram to obtain the factors that cause disability. During the improve phase an action plan was developed using the Poka-Yoke approach. In the control phase continuous improvement is done with the Kaizen approach which includes the Five-M checklist concept, 5W+1H (What, Why, Where, When, Who, How) and the Five Step Plan.

Abstract

Tourism is a kind sector that can make increase of devisa and promotion to other country. A support factor for tourism to enjoy their facation is hotel’s industry. TRIM III Hotel need to do productivity calculating as base planning to increasing productivity in future. To calculating productivity in TRIM III Hotel using OMAX method, Marvin E. Mundhel, and Kendrick and D. Creamer. Based on calculating result by OMAX method gotten the higgest attainment indicator value at March 2005 equal to 737,71 % with increase to early period equal to 145,90 % and experiencing increase of productivity to previous period equal to 50,14 %, while the lowest attainment indicator at October 2004 equal to 227,05 % with decrease of productivity to previous period equal to 24,32 % and experiencing decrease of productivity to previous period equal to 55,57 %. By use Marvin E. Mundhel method the higgest productivity index’s value at April 2004 equal to 109,16 % with increase of productivity equal to 9,75% to previous period and the lowest productivity index value at October 2005 equal to 72,34 % with decrease of productivity equal to 13,14 % to previous period. Kendrick and D. Creamer method the higgest productivity index’s value at April 2004 equal to 154,88 % with increase of productivity equal to 18,35 % to previous period and the lowest productivity index’s value at October 2005 equal to 106,45 % with decrease of productivity equal to 22,81 to previous period.

Abstract

Quality Control Circle (QCC) merupakan kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan para karyawan tetap PT. Takagi Sari Multi Utama (PT. TSC) dalam menyalurkan ide dan gagasan guna mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi di dalam lingkungan kerja. Dalam implementasinya sering terdapat beberapa kelemahan atau kekurangan yang dapat mengakibatkan hasil yang dicapai kurang optimal. Hal ini yang mendasari dilakukannya penelitian mengenai implementasi QCC dalam usahanya untuk mengurangi biaya produksi akibat pemborosan dari berbedanya layout kerja proses finishing dan assy untuk part duct air intake. Tujuan dari penelitian ini selain untuk mendapatkan solusi guna meminimalisir pemborosan dan menentukan besarnya penghematan yang didapat, tetapi bisa dijadikan referensi bagi anggota gugus dalam hal penyajian data, metode pengambilan data dan penentuan circle time baru. Hal tersebut yang nantinya akan digunakan sebagai pengambilan keputusan dalam implementasi QCC. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkannya solusi dalam meminimalisir pemborosan dengan cara menggabungkan proses finishing dan assy part duct air intake menjadi satu layout kerja di departemen produksi. Hasil yang didapat dari penggabungan kedua proses tersebut antara lain penghematan penggunaan box packing, penghematan kebutuhan man power, penghematan dari berkurangnya waktu menganggur dan biaya simpan part duct air intake. Total penghematan yang didapat sebesar Rp27.958.603,84.

Abstract

Produksi tepung Sohun di desa Daleman Kecamatan Tulung, Kabupaten Klaten rata-rata 200 ton/tahun, dan menghasilkan limbah berupa serat sebanyak 2,19 ton/hari. Limbah tersebut dibuang ke lingkungan atau sungai sehingga berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dan sangat mengganggu fungsi sungai sebagai saluran air hujan dan pengairan (Purnawan, 2014). Dalam mensikapi permasalahan tersebut dilakukan penelitian sebagai upaya pemanfaatan limbah menjadi produk yang dapat dimanfaatkan dan memiliki nilai ekonomis yang menguntungkan. Penelitian dilakukan dalam skala laboratorium dengan menambahkan pereaksi berupa larutan asam nitrat dalam labu yang berisi serat dengan volume dan konsentrasi yang telah ditentukan. Dengan menentukan kondisi proses delignifikasi tepung sohun menggunakan metode Taguchi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terhadap penentuan kondisi proses delignifikasi tepung sohun yaitu : Faktor kendali terdiri dari empat faktor yaitu NaOH proses soda, NaOH proses Nitrat, waktu proses dan kecepatan. Masing masing faktor kendali mempunyai level yang berbeda. Sedangkan faktor tak terkendali meliputi jenis larutan yang digunakan yang dikategorikan air dan aquades. Air merupakan H2O yang tidak murni atau mengandung mineral sedangkan aquades merupakan H2O murni atau hasil destilasi. Setting Level terbaik dalam penelitian setelah dilakukan percobaan adalah level 1 untuk NaOH proses soda sedangkan untuk NaOH proses nitrat ada di level 3.
