Abstract

Holistic learning in higher education is an approach that integrates various aspects of education, including local wisdom, character education, sports, and language. Sports can help develop motor and health aspects, as well as build a positive and social attitude language, skills in using language, can help control stress, self-control, and develop empathy This approach aims to form individuals who are not only academically intelligent, but also have strong character values and good social skills. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the development procedure adopting the Four-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) as it develops a holistic learning model: Synergy between Sport, Language, and Local Wisdom in Character Education in Higher Education. Sport as part of holistic learning promotes cooperation, discipline, and physical health, while language acquisition improves communication skills and interpersonal connectedness. This research explores how the integration of these elements can create a more dynamic and effective learning environment and prepare students to face global challenges while respecting local values. The results are expected to contribute significantly to the development of higher education curriculum in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of teachers' transactional leadership through digital literacy on the quality of student learning. In today's digital era, a teacher's ability to apply digital literacy in the learning process is crucial for creating a dynamic and participatory learning environment. Teachers' transactional leadership, characterized by active student involvement in decision-making and the freedom to express opinions, is expected to enhance the quality of student learning. The research employed a quantitative survey, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to junior high school students. The study showed that teachers who adopt a transactional leadership style and utilize digital technology in the classroom can increase student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes. Digital literacy becomes a key tool for teachers to deliver more interactive, relevant, and contemporary learning experiences. Therefore, the integration of transactional leadership and digital literacy has a significant impact on improving the quality of student learning. This research suggests enhancing digital literacy training for teachers and encouraging the application of a transactional leadership approach to support better educational quality.

Abstract

Education management covers various aspects, ranging from the management of human resources, curriculum, facilities, to education policy. This literature review aims to explore the importance of Relevant Studies in developing effective education management strategies. Based on the literature review and previous research, in an increasingly complex and dynamic era, developing an effective education management strategy is a challenge for education stakeholders. One of the important elements in the strategy development process is the utilization of relevant studies as an empirical and theoretical basis. The research method used is a literature study by collecting and analyzing articles, journals and books related to the importance of Relevant Studies in developing effective education management strategies. The results of the literature review show that Relevant Studies play an important role in developing an effective, sustainable and adaptive education management strategy to the challenges of the times. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions, governments and all stakeholders to actively support and integrate the results of relevant studies into every aspect of education management, in order to create a better education that is in line with future challenges.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using animation-based interactive learning media in English subjects to introduce letters and numbers on the learning motivation of Grade I students of MIN 1 Pesisir Selatan. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The population of this study amounted to 30 students and the sampling method used the census method, namely all members of the population were surveyed. This is done when the population is less than 30 students. Therefore, class A was used as the control class with a total of 15 students, and class B was used as the experimental class with a maximum of 15 students. The results of the normality and homogeneity tests showed that all data were normally distributed and uniform. The normality test results are sig. 0.120 > 0.05 for the experimental class and 0.198 > 0.05 for the control class, while the homogeneity test resulted in a significance value of 0.531 > 0.05. The results of hypothesis testing showed that the average learning motivation of the experimental class was 73.84 and the learning motivation of the control class was 57.57, namely 73.84> 57.57. Based on the results of the independent sample t test, the significance value of two factors (T-tail) < 0.000. 0,05. It can be concluded that there is an effect of using animated interactive learning media on first grade students.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the differences in data collection techniques in the research as well as identify the advantages and disadvantages of various methods, including surveys, interviews, observations, document analysis, experiments, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The research method used is a literature study, which involves tracing and analyzing written sources to understand the application of each technique. The results show that surveys offer efficiency and a wide range, but often neglect the depth of information needed to understand social contexts. Interviews and FGDs provide deeper insights, although they take time and can be influenced by researcher biases. Observation methods provide a good contextual understanding, but are subjective, while document analysis can present relevant historical data but must be critically evaluated. Experiments allow for the identification of clear cause-and-effect relationships, but are often carried out under artificial conditions that do not reflect reality. Taking into account technological developments, such as online surveys and mobile apps, this article concludes that a deep understanding of data collection techniques can help researchers design more effective and ethical research, resulting in findings that benefit society.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of a cashless payment system (Cashless Management Information System) at SMP Tahfidh Al Hidayah, which was introduced in the 2024/2025 school year to improve the efficiency, security, and transparency of financial management. The focus of this research is the leadership of innovation and reform in improving the Management Information System. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis and the implementation of the research from August 23-October 13, 2024. The results showed that Innovation and Reform Leadership in Management Information System at SMP Tahfidh Al Hidayah Kauman Tulungagung Regency successfully integrated the Cashless SIM system as part of the long-term vision of a more modern school. The school environment supported by the cashless system includes several aspects of digital payment facilities, integrated management systems and accessibility of financial information. The findings from this study also provide practical recommendations for similar schools to improve the quality of education through innovative and reformist leadership strategies that focus on the implementation of cashless systems and are oriented towards operational efficiency.

Abstract

In education, the curriculum is a key element that determines the success of the learning process. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is carried out on vocational competencies which are expected to serve as insights and guidelines in improving the practical abilities of vocational students in pursuing education. Curriculum implementation is reflected in learning activities at school. As part of educational reform in Indonesia with the hope of creating graduates who are better prepared to face the challenges of the times, the curriculum currently implemented is an independent curriculum. Not only in public schools, but the independent curriculum is also applied to vocational high schools. In vocational high schools (SMK), there are characteristics of a skills-based and vocational curriculum so that the results of this study reveal how the Merdeka Curriculum is adapted in vocational education and how its application can prepare students with relevant skills in the world of work. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with the resource persons being the principal, teachers, and students. The data collection technique uses the Miles and Huberman Technique. The results showed that the implementation of Merdeka curriculum was analyzed in terms of input, process, and output. Then the positive impacts and challenges are also analyzed in this study.

Abstract

Discussion of research results is an important part of scientific work which functions to interpret research findings, answer the problem being researched, and provide recommendations for further research. The discussion not only functions as a summary of research results, but also as an evaluation of the methodology used, as well as a critical analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the research results. The research method used is literature study. Literature review is a research method carried out by collecting data and theoretical studies from various sources, namely books, scientific journals and scientific articles related to the study being discussed. The research method in the form of a literature review is carried out by searching for related journals and books, reading the contents of the study, studying and analyzing the literature that has been saved. The discussion must integrate research findings with existing theory and previous research, as well as provide insight into the practical and theoretical implications of the findings. the. In addition, it is important to avoid common mistakes in preparing discussions, such as repeating research results, providing excessive recommendations, or ignoring in-depth analysis of the data. A good discussion is logically structured, connects research results with relevant theory and literature, and contributes to the development of science and practice in related fields.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of understanding of Indonesian language learning materials, this is due to the media used by teachers in the learning process is still in the form of textbooks that do not illustrate learning materials. In an effort to improve student learning outcomes, the application of case method-based learning videos appears as an alternative that can solve these problems. This study aims to reveal the effect of case method-based learning videos on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects in class X SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir. This type of research is quantitative research with the form of quasi experiment. The population of this research is class X students of SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir which amounted to 62 students. Data collection technique used test technique. From the research results obtained the average value of the experimental group of 80.403 is higher than the average value of the control group of 74.67. From the t test analysis obtained ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???????????????????????? = 2.99 > 2.00, meaning that there is a significant difference in the value of learning outcomes at the α 0.05 level. So it can be concluded that the use of learning video media has an effect on student learning outcomes in class X Indonesian language subjects at SMK Adi Karya Ranah Pesisir

Abstract

The exploration of pragmatics learning on speech context material using Case Base Method (CBM) is the topic of this research. Explorative qualitative method as a framework to analyze meaningful information about the application of CBM in speech context learning. CBM has advantages and disadvantages that cannot be avoided in the learning process. The advantages are to train students to learn contextually, think critically; solve problems, be able to integrate prior knowledge into cases, develop concepts/ideas; and develop the values of tolerance, respect for other people's opinions, and democracy. Research subjects in the form of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Unes registered in the 2024/2025 academic year participated in this study. Data collection used observation, interview, recording, and questionnaire techniques, then analyzed narratively. This study showed that students mastered the concept of context significantly, discussion activation increased, motivation and collaboration developed well, and critical thinking occurred in some students. The challenge for lecturers is to assist students who are passive and must be able to formulate topics and cases that are interesting to students.
