Abstract

The reporting of digital mass media vulgarly always sides with the interests. Is it siding directly, or is it in framing? Television shows and newspaper reports have become the public's 'breakfast'. The media increasingly determines the cognitive menu of people's everyday thoughts which are convincingly lulled that that is the most authentic. This article discusses the role of social media as a digital public space for Indonesian people's cognition. Using library research and critical and comparative analysis, this study aims to capture the primary ideas about media and political education in Indonesia within the theoretical framework of Jurgen Habermas' Public Sphere. This paper concludes that digital media plays a significant role in shaping the way of thinking of the public which tends to be co-opted to political power and capital owners. This way of thinking then forms a mass culture that is prone to authoritarianism. The findings of this research also serve as a warning to stakeholders who must be more vigilant in anticipating the globalization of digital media which can change the face of political education and the future of our democracy.   Keywords: Social Media, Digital Public Space, Politics, Democracy

Abstract

Education funding is a fundamental factor in the implementation of education because it is related to the use of the budget or operational financing as a whole. In financing Islamic education, an even and balanced concept is needed which must be considered in managing the budget. This research aims to analyze the concept of management and utilization of the Islamic education financing budget at Al Maarif 01 Singgosari Islamic Elementary School, Malang district. The approach uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques in the form of field observations, interviews, and documentation related to the administration of management and utilization of the budget in the education unit. The research results show that the management and utilization of the education budget have been adjusted to the technical guidelines (JUKNIS) that have been set. Management of the education budget at Al Maarif 01 Singgosari Islamic Elementary School has been carried out by the concept of Islamic education financing management which begins with financial planning (budgeting) through a financial budgeting process that is carried out the stages in a systematic manner and considers balance and equity in the aspects subject to the budget. The process of financial oversight begins with compiling a RAPBS that has been adapted to the needs of the school. Supporting and inhibiting factors in managing Islamic education financing at Al Maarif 01 Singosari Islamic Elementary School, namely: (1) The school has the right to arrange operational and non-operational financing according to needs, (2) Everything related to reporting is the personal responsibility of the financial manager ( school treasurers) and school principals who are assisted by operators (3) utilization of funding sources from the government in the form of BOS (School Operational Assistance) and BOSDA (Regional School Operational Assistance) is still not optimal and evenly distributed because the disbursement of funds within three months and less on time and (4) committee contributions in the form of tuition fees are still not current so parents need to be more aware of and play a role in financing education.   Keywords: Management, Budget, Islamic Education

Abstract

A living became a necessity in domestic life. Most studies of living still revolve around consumptive livelihood (an-nafaqah al-istihlākiyah), because read from an outward point of the texts indicate that living is in the form of food, drink, clothing, food, and domicile. Even though these consumptive details can be productive. Productive livelihood (an-nafaqah al-isti'māliyah) for children has not been so massive discussion among researchers. Some published research on productive living still requires a stronger foothold as a legal backing. From there, researchers want to provide the basic foundation of QS. An-Nisa': 09 as a formalistic legal basis in order to be more effective in taking application actions in the practical realm of each family. With the approach of Islamic legal philosophy, researchers read and study QS. An-Nisa': 09, is the verse relevant as the basic basis for productive livelihood for children? And what are the laws born of it? From this study, the results obtained are 1) this verse is relevant to be used as a basis for the concept of productive livelihood for children. 2) with the approach of Islamic legal philosophy gave conclusion of law a) the necessity of applying productive income for children to families who have knowledge and an established economy; b) be an encouragement for families with knowledge or established economies to manage management towards productive livelihood for children; c) does not apply to those who do not have the capacity of both or one of them.   Keywords: productive livelihood, children, QS. Abstract

In the learning process, educators often get into trouble when students feel sleepy, bored, lazy, and lack enthusiasm so they are less active in the learning process. The reward method is an effort to foster student learning motivation. The research aims to examine the effect of rewards on students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education. The research design used was experimental in two classes, namely class X MPK as the control class and class X PMS as the experimental class—data collection by questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using parametric analysis, namely the Independent sample T-Test. The results of the research show that reward affects students' learning motivation. Students who are given rewards in the learning process have an average value of learning motivation higher than the class that is not given reward treatment. The average student motivation after being given a reward is 76.47. While in the class I was not given an average bonus of 47.07.   Keywords: Giving Rewards, Learning Motivation, Islamic Religious Education.
