The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted Indonesian education, prompting adaptations in teaching methods. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah institutions, in particular, shifted to online learning, facing challenges like a decline in student morals and character. This study evaluates the ideal conditions for education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level in the new normal era, focusing on idealistic educational philosophy. A literature study approach was employed, analyzing data from books, academic journals, and relevant literature on idealistic educational philosophy. The aim was to explore how this philosophy can address pandemic-induced challenges and support education development in the new normal. Findings indicate that idealistic educational philosophy can effectively address post-pandemic educational challenges. This philosophy emphasizes guiding students to develop their thoughts and personalities in harmony with their intrinsic nature and societal values. Education should nurture each student's personality according to their talents, interests, and age-appropriate skills. Effective and efficient teaching methods are crucial for achieving these goals, focusing on holistic student development. The study highlights the importance of aligning educational philosophy with students' natural development. In Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the idealistic approach enhances the moral and character development of students, adversely affected during the pandemic. By fostering individualized learning and personal growth, educational institutions can better navigate new normal challenges. Implementing idealistic educational philosophy in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah institutions can play a pivotal role in overcoming educational challenges exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring well-rounded education that prepares students for their societal roles.

As juvenile delinquency rates rise in Indonesia, addressing the underlying moral degradation among adolescents becomes crucial. This study investigates the integration of Tanjak Melayu's local wisdom with Value Clarification Technique (VCT) in history education as a strategy for moral character enhancement in students. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, document reviews, and validity tests, with data analysis performed via triangulation. The study identifies key values of Tanjak Melayu—dignity, politeness, and attractiveness—that can be effectively incorporated into history lessons using VCT. This integration shows a positive impact on student's moral character, providing not only knowledge but also facilitating practical learning tasks. The incorporation of Tanjak Melayu values into educational settings via VCT not only preserves cultural heritage but also actively promotes moral virtues among students. The findings suggest that VCT can be a dynamic tool in moral education, enhancing student engagement and ethical development. This study underscores the potential of culturally integrated education technologies in addressing adolescent behavioral issues. By embedding local cultural values into the curriculum, educational institutions can play a pivotal role in shaping the moral landscape of the next generation. This approach offers a scalable model for similar interventions across diverse educational contexts, aiming to curb juvenile delinquency through enhanced character education. The successful integration of Tanjak Melayu values into history education via VCT demonstrates a viable path towards improving the moral character of students, suggesting that similar cultural and technological adaptations in educational curricula could be beneficial on a broader scale.

The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of caricature image media in enhancing students' proficiency in argumentative writing. This study employed a quantitative experimental research methodology, specifically utilising a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The research was conducted in the Indonesian Language Education programme at a private university in Palembang during the academic year 2022/2023. The sample in this study was 29 semester 1 students (M = 2 and F = 27). The research data was taken through the process of observation, documents and tests. The data on the results of the written test were analyzed using the t-test for the treatment and experimental groups. This is a Paired Sample t-test. The results of the t-test obtained a t-count of 8.57 and the value of the t-table at dk (0.05)(29) was 2.048 with a significance level of 0.000. Because the calculated t value is greater than t table 8.57 2.048, it can be concluded that there is an influence of caricature image media on the learning outcomes of argumentative writing. While the average difference between the posttest and pretest is 4.75. From this average difference, it can be seen that the percentage increase was 47.11%. From the overall results of the presentation, it can be seen that the media of caricature images has a fairly good positive impact on the results of argumentation writing.

The integration of scientific principles within Islamic religious universities governed by the Ministry of Religion is a widespread practice. However, the application of this concept across universities offering programs under the auspices of both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religion remains unexplored. This study delineates the framework for integrating scientific knowledge at an Islamic University in Madura, focusing on the execution and assessment of education that amalgamates scientific insights and Islamic values. Employing observational techniques on policy documents and teaching resources of instructors, alongside semi-structured interviews with fifteen educators from the physics, biology, and mathematics departments, this investigation reveals a unique five-pillar knowledge integration concept. These pillars encompass Islam, Indonesia, Islamic Boarding School, Madura, and Aswajaan perspectives. The formal documentation supporting this integration at Madura Islamic University is encapsulated within its Statutes and chancellor's guidelines for curriculum enhancement. Evidence of implementation is observed in instructors' Syllabi and teaching materials, albeit only 53.3% have successfully linked scientific content with Qur'anic verses. The primary challenge identified is the considerable time required to develop materials that effectively integrate Islamic values. Solutions proposed include the creation of a comprehensive guide for integrating the five knowledge pillars and extensive training for all faculty members to facilitate this integration process.

Competence in writing prose fiction is one of the writing competencies that Indonesian literature students must have. The higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) based fiction writing competency assessment instrument is something that cannot be separated from students' achievement of fiction prose writing competency. HOTS-based competency assessment is one of the measuring tools in the process of developing student writing competency. This research was a literature review research on the implementation of a HOTS-based fiction writing competency assessment instrument in higher education. This research used the PRISMA method. A search for relevant literature was carried out through Google Scholar database with the criteria being limited to articles published in Sinta 1-3 indexed journals in 2016-2023. 12 articles met the criteria and became material for analysis. The results of these findings indicated that the research related to learning to write HOTS-based fiction prose in higher education had not yet been carried out. The HOTS-based writing competency assessment instrument in higher education had only been used for general Indonesian language learning, it had not been used in the realm of literature learning. The findings of this systematic literature review recommended that there was a need for further research in the field of development, implementation, and evaluation of Indonesian literature learning assessment instruments, especially the development of HOTS-based fiction prose writing competency assessment instruments in higher education.

Educational achievement in Education for Sustainable Development (hereafter, EfSD) demands fair and equitable education. This condition gives rise to various preparations that must be taken into account by teaching staff through program plans and strategies designed to achieve the quality of education as regulated in the curriculum. The aim of the research is to examine the conditions for implementing EfSD in elementary schools through the management of learning modules. The research uses the Research and Development or RD method with the ADDIE model. The research begins with an analysis stage consisting of analysis of problems, needs and curriculum, teachers and students. The design stage takes the form of resource management and management of material aspects through the development of independent curriculum teaching modules. At this stage, a validation test was carried out by material experts and practitioners which resulted in an average of 94.48%. Then the implementation or trial phase was limited to 10 students, the test was extensive on 22 grade 4 students. The evaluation stage aims to determine the suitability of the independent curriculum teaching module product for use in schools. The test results showed that student responses were limited to 87.87% and broadly 93.24%. It can be concluded that the development of teaching modules attracts students to learn according to their characteristics, skills and interests.

This paper aims to chronicle the historical development of Human Resource Management (HRM) as both an established academic field and a professional enterprise. The study adopts a desk-based methodology to examine the literature that has played a pivotal role in comprehending the beginnings, evolution, and professional advancement of HRM. A total of ten publications, sourced from scholarly journals, were selected to accurately depict the current situation. The papers underwent examination using three qualitative analysis procedures: data categorization, validation, and inference formulation. The study's findings indicated that mergers and acquisitions, talent management, succession planning, industrial and labour relations, and diversity and inclusion were previously the core components of human resources. The transition took place due to globalisation, corporate consolidation, technical progress, and more study. Academic institutions, professional bodies, and individual firms have devised specialised programmes of study to train future professionals for the specific obligations of the post. Multiple publications regarding human resources indicate that academic and practitioner organisations are also keen on making contributions to and advancing the sector.
