This study examines the financial management practices of Islamic educational institutions, with a focus on public accountability. As financial transparency and accountability become increasingly important in educational organizations, it is essential to evaluate how Islamic institutions manage their financial resources. A survey research design was employed to assess perceptions of financial management accountability. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, with a sample size of 162 participants from various Islamic education institutions. The findings revealed that respondents generally hold positive views regarding the transparency of financial management practices at Islamic educational institutions. However, challenges in implementing these practices were also identified, such as limited financial training, technological infrastructure gaps, and insufficient stakeholder engagement. While the positive perception of transparency indicates a solid foundation for accountable financial management, the study highlights the need for further improvements. Recommendations include enhancing financial training, upgrading technology, increasing stakeholder involvement, and conducting regular financial audits. Additionally, institutions are encouraged to benchmark their practices against industry best standards to ensure ethical and efficient resource utilization. This research underscores the importance of fostering a culture of accountability in financial management within Islamic educational institutions. Abstract

This study focuses on the issue of students' lack of self-confidence. Many students are hesitant to voice their opinions or ask questions during class, unsure of their abilities, likely to copy answers from peers, afraid of tests, and nervous when performing in front of others. The study employed quasi-experimental design with two fifth-grade classes: 20 students from MI Sultan Agung and 20 students from Caturtunggal State Elementary School 4 in Yogyakarta. Descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing (independent sample test and paired sample test ) were used to analyze the data. The findings show that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) paradigm significantly improves primary school students' self-confidence. The paired t-test results showed a t-value of 17.888 and a significance level of 0.000 (p 0.05), suggesting that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This suggests that PjBL is more effective than conventional learning methods in boosting students' self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore observation methods for evaluating early childhood learning in Kindergarten Group B at Aisyah Kindergarten Lubuklinggau. The research involved 32 students, aged five years, comprising 12 boys and 20 girls. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation. The study identified various observation methods, including anecdotal notes, running records, checklists, time sampling, and event sampling, each with distinct advantages and limitations. Anecdotal records provided detailed insights into individual student behaviors, while running records offered comprehensive observations over time. Checklists allowed for rapid assessments but lacked depth, focusing primarily on the presence or absence of specific behaviors. Time sampling concentrated on the frequency of behaviors, and event sampling added context by recording the causes and effects of behaviors, though it risked missing key behaviors due to its predetermined scope. These methods collectively serve to assess children's development and learning progress. The evaluation of early childhood education (PAUD) is critical for understanding the effectiveness of educational programs in shaping children's behavior and attitudes, as well as for guiding continuous improvement. However, challenges remain in aligning evaluation strategies with curriculum goals and selecting the most appropriate assessment tools. Despite these challenges, systematic evaluation and ongoing refinement efforts by PAUD educators are essential to optimize children's developmental outcomes and prepare them for future educational challenges.
