Abstract

This study examined the evolution of Management Information Systems (MIS) within the context of industry 4.0 era, specifically emphasizing student discipline management. The research aimed to implement the "Attitude Record" application at the Islamic Elementary School (SDI) Al Amanah in Bandung Regency, serving as a foundational database for student discipline management. The research methodology employed in this study was the school-based action research method. The research outcomes affirmed that the application of management through the "Attitude Record" application within the framework of the student discipline information system at SDI Al Amanah enabled administrators to select actions under students’ conditions. The procedural steps taken in this school-based action research had yielded substantive alterations in the arrangement and monitoring of student conduct while yielding significant effects on the educational ambience within the institution. In a comprehensive context, the discipline management founded upon the information furnished by the "Attitude Record" application had substantial contribution by enhancing oversight, reporting, and handling student disciplinary infractions. This approach extended beyond mere reliance on students' attendance criteria or advancements in specific subjects. Instead, it encompassed a comprehensive view of student behavior, enabling administrators to adopt an informed and sensitive approach to individual student contexts. Discipline management based on information provided by the "Attitude Record" application had significantly contributed to enhancing supervision, reporting, and addressing student disciplinary violations. This approach avoided limiting itself to student attendance or specific subject areas improvements. Instead, it offered a more holistic perspective on student behavior, enriching the disciplinary framework

Abstract

There has been a lot of talk about 21st-century skills for learning which are required for progressive learning in modern and effective ways. The essence of these skills includes Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity which are often referred to as the 4Cs of learning. English teacher has to focus to improve the students’ English proficiency and exploration of efficient ways of acquiring competence in the use of English for learning and the workforce in the future by implementing suitable and effective strategies in teaching.  One of them is Fishbowl.  It is a teaching strategy that helps students practice being contributors and listeners in a discussion. Students ask questions, present opinions, and share information when they sit in the “fishbowl” circle, while students on the outside of the circle listen carefully to the ideas presented and pay attention to the process, then the roles reverse. This strategy is especially useful when you want to make sure all students participate in the discussion, when you want to help students reflect on what a “good discussion” looks like, and when you need a structure for discussing controversial or difficult topics. This paper reveals an alternative strategy for the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in teaching speaking English.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the quality assurance system in higher education. The type of research is qualitative research with literature study. Data collection is done by searching for sources and constructing them from various sources such as books, journals and research that has already been carried out. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, data triangulation, member checking and auditing techniques were used, as well as data analysis techniques according to Miles & Huberman, namely data reduction, data display and conclusions. The research findings are that educational institutions need to carry out quality assurance processes both internally and externally. Responsibility for the quality of higher education is completely handed over to the university concerned. To become an effective higher education institution, it can utilize all the resources it has, such as lecturers as teaching staff and educational staff who are elements of higher education human resources; in addition to material resources, machines including facilities and energy, money, and information including data owned by universities. Efforts to develop the quality of HEIs are carried out by increasing student capacity directed towards relevant fields, increasing link and match in terms of abilities and skills, as well as improving the quality of lecturers. Monitoring and evaluation must be carried out as well as the stages of determination, implementation, evaluation, control and improvement (PPEPP) in implementing quality assurance, so that it does not deviate from the goals that have been set and can provide the best results for parents, students, and most importantly the world market. work both domestically and abroad.

Abstract

This study aims to explain whether there is an influence of Islamic education policies on the application of multiculturalism at the Al-Asholah Sumbawa foundation. The data collection technique used the observation method, with a questionnaire instrument. Based on the normality test obtained a value of 0.067>0.05, the data is normally distributed. Based on the homogeneity test obtained 0.845>0.05 this indicates data is homogeneous. Based on the T test, a significant value of 0.001 <0.05 is obtained, there is an influence of variable X on variable Y, and the F test obtained a significant value of 0.001 <0.05, this indicates that simultaneously there is an influence of variable X on variable Y. It can be concluded that there is an influence of Islamic education policy on the application of multiculturalism at the Al-Asholah Sumbawa Foundation. This can be seen from the significant value obtained in the T test and F test of 0.001 <0.05, which means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected.

Abstract

The role of a teacher is vital to creating an effective and efficient educational process. Not everyone can become a teacher or lecturer because they are considered a profession that demands professionalism. Nonetheless, the role of a teacher in the educational process is not commensurate with the welfare conditions felt by the teachers; the workload is quite heavy, with emotional demands causing negative suggestions for teachers regarding their work. It is appropriate for policymakers related to the world of education to pay more attention to the construct of well-being in teachers. The aim of this research, thus, is to discover teachers' perspectives on teacher well-being that they experience while being teachers, starting from two attitudes in implementing teacher well-being (affective and cognitive), as well as what factors make them persist as teachers. This research used qualitative methods. The informants involved in this research were five teachers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Based on the data collection method, a triangulation test of sources, techniques, and time was carried out to test the validity of the data. This research revealed six aspects of teacher well-being, encompassing positive relationships with other people, autonomy, personal growth, environmental mastery, self-acceptance, and purpose in life. Family support and a positive view of the teaching profession are essential to improving teachers' well-being.
