Abstract

Misconception is one of the obstacles in the achievement of physics learning and must be immediately corrected so that there is no retention of misconceptions in subsequent knowledge. One way to prevent and reduce misconceptions that occur is with the teachers skill of Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK). Teachers who integrate TPACK in learning can prevent misconceptions and find solutions to overcome the misconceptions. This study aims to determine the TPACK skill of teachers in overcoming misconceptions and the appropriate TPACK components to reduce misconceptions based on concepts on the three tier test of FCI (Force Concept Inventory). The research method used is mixed method with concurrent embedded design. The main data in this study is TPACK which is qualitative data and supporting data is students misconception which is quantitative data. The results showed a decrease in misconceptions after being given an understanding of the concept using the teacher's TPACK skill. The components used during the teacher's reduction of misconceptions based on the concepts in the FCI three tier test of FCI  are TPACK and PCK components. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obstacles faced by doctors and midwives in minimizing the risk of fetal paralysis due to pregnant women's fear. The fear experienced by pregnant women can influence medical decisions made by doctors and midwives, leading to complications during pregnancy and childbirth. The research involves qualitative analysis from the perspectives of practitioners in various healthcare facilities. Findings reveal various relationships between factors and levels of maternal fear. Firstly, there is no significant relationship between the age of pregnant women and their fear levels. Secondly, maternal education significantly impacts fear levels, with highly educated pregnant women exhibiting lower fear levels, while those with lower education experience higher fear levels. Thirdly, maternal employment status is significantly related to anxiety levels, indicating that working pregnant women may experience higher levels of fear than non-working counterparts. Qualitative analysis indicates that nulliparous women tend to have greater fear of labor pain and pre-delivery concerns. BMI has a significant relationship with anxiety levels, suggesting that pregnant women with higher BMI may experience higher fear levels. Lastly, spousal support plays a crucial role in anxiety levels, with pregnant women receiving greater support from their husbands tending to have lower levels of fear.

Abstract

The problem of polluted river water quality is part of current environmental problems. A lot of pollution is caused by industrial factory waste, household waste, and rubbish. This causes the condition of the river ecosystem to decline and hurts humans and the environment. Pollution that occurs in rivers is a result of human behavior which increasingly ignores the surrounding environment. The consequences of human behavior that is wrong in treating the river environment will ultimately become a disaster that is detrimental to humans themselves. This research aims to detect whether there is a correlation between knowledge and attitudes held by the community regarding behavior to protect the river environment. The hypothesis proposed in this study is: that behavior to maintain the health of the river environment is influenced by knowledge and attitude variables. The sample in this research was 300 students. The influence of knowledge on behavior has a significant relationship with a p-value of 0.00. The influence of attitudes on behavior has a significant relationship with a p-value of 0.00. There is positive behavior to protect river ecosystems and also environmental sustainability in rivers, but there are also students who behave indifferently towards the environment and tend to be indifferent.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a disease that is transmitted very quickly. One way of transmitting Tuberculosis is through droplet nuclei when a patient coughs or sneezes, especially to those closest to the patient, namely the family who lives in the same house as the patient. Poor family and community knowledge about Tuberculosis have a greater risk of increasing Tuberculosis cases, while families and communities who have good knowledge about Tuberculosis can reduce the incidence of Tuberculosis cases. To determine the relationship between the level of community knowledge and efforts to prevent tuberculosis in the Pariaman Community Health Center work area in 2022. This research is correlational with a cross-sectional study approach. that of the 48 respondents, the majority of 37 (77.10%) people had a high level of public knowledge about preventing tuberculosis. more than 35 (72.90%) people experienced good Tuberculosis Prevention Efforts. It is known that tuberculosis prevention efforts are greater among respondents who have high knowledge than respondents who have low knowledge (68.80% and 4.20%) people. Based on statistical tests using chi-square, the p-value = 0.00 (p-value < α 0.05) means there is a significant relationship between the level of community knowledge and efforts to prevent tuberculosis. According to the researchers' analysis, knowledge and prevention efforts must be in sync because efforts to prevent lack of knowledge do not occur well, so knowledge and prevention efforts must work well and reduce the number of TB diseases that occur. Most of the community's level of knowledge regarding tuberculosis prevention efforts. Most efforts to prevent tuberculosis are good. There is a significant relationship between the level of community knowledge and efforts to prevent tuberculosis in the Pariaman Community Health Center working area in 2022.

Abstract

Aeromonas hydrophila is one of the causative agents for Motile Aeromonas Septicemia (MAS) in catfish. MAS treatment is generally carried out by administering antibiotics. This study aimed to determine the antibiotic resistance profile of A. hydrophila and detect the presence of resistance genes. The samples are archived A. hydrophila isolates isolated from catfish ponds in the district of Muara Jambi, Bungo, Jambi Province, and Merangin total of 18 isolates. Testing the antibiotic resistance profile was carried out using the disk diffusion method against tetracycline, oxytetracycline, ampicillin, amoxicillin, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, and streptomycin. The detected resistance genes were ampC, qnrA, qnrB, and qnrS. The results showed A. hydrophila isolates were resistant to tetracycline (100%), oxytetracycline (94.42%), ampicillin (77.70%), and amoxicillin (77.72%) and still sensitive to ciprofloxacin (83.32%), enrofloxacin (100 %), and streptomycin (100%). The ampC gene was found in 8 out of 14 isolates resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics (57.14%). The qnrA and qnrS genes were found in 3 out of 4 isolates resistant to quinolone antibiotics (75%), while qnrB was found in 1 isolate (25%). A. hydrophila isolated from catfish ponds in Jambi develops resistance to antibiotics and resistance genes found in isolates resistant to antibiotics.

Abstract

Spontaneous problem posing is a basic concept of spontaneous mathematical thinking and science learning. Students generate problems without systematic encouragement and pose problems based on the student's desire to develop their skills. As a result, they can serve as important markers of constructive mathematical and science engagement, particularly affective engagement, for problem solvers and their classroom communities. We used a qualitative approach to analyze student characteristics, especially in the affective domain, when presenting random problems. We used an observational approach and experience sampling in each class to observe students' engagement in spontaneous problem posing both individually and in groups. The findings revealed that each student showed different characteristics when presenting problems suddenly (spontaneous problem posing). The submission of the first subject problem was categorized as problem-as-exercise, satisfying the characteristics of spontaneous originality, where constructive emotional experiences impressed more on the teacher, while negative emotional experiences impressed more on oneself (self), classmates, and mathematical activities. The submission of the second subject problem is classified as a problematic problem, fulfilling the characteristics of spontaneous originality. Negative emotional experiences are more visible in me (myself), while constructive emotional experiences are more visible in teachers, classmates, and math activities
