Abstract

This article aims to investigate how tadzkirah models in the Islamic perspective character education book by Abdul Majid and Dian Andayani This is an effort so that the education carried out can achieve the desired goal. This type of research is library research using content analysis techniques. The research results first, the Tadzkirah model in this book is a character education model that is present from the derivatives of the theories of Islamic education. These theories are the acronyms of the word tadzkirah which has meaning: i.e. T: show example, A: direct; D: impulse; Z: zakiyah; K: continuity; I: remind; R: repetition; A (O): organize; and H: heart. Second, this Tadzkira model can indeed be used in the implementation of character education, but not all methods in this model are suitable for use by all groups of pupils or all levels of education. Therefore, it is important for educators to be able to understand the character of the students so that they can use appropriate methods. This must be done in the hope of achieving success in character education.

Abstract

The background of the writing began in the VIII grade PAI learning activities at SMP N 1 Jujuhan Ilir, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. In practice, it is still found that students only accept what the teacher says but do not really understand it. This is caused by teaching and learning activities that are still less effective carried out by teachers. Teachers do not associate problems in the surrounding environment with learning at school. The purpose of the study was to determine the learning process of Problem Based Learning (PBL), the impact of implementation in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education in Class VIII SMP N 1 Jujuhan Ilir, Kab. Bungo, Jambi. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The informants of this research are PAI teachers as key informants and supporting informants, namely teachers and students of class VIII. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and data collection. Then the author's data validity technique uses data triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that the learning process of Islamic Religious Education in Class VIII SMP N 1 Jujuhan Ilir, Kab. Bungo, Jambi has implemented the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model which has an impact on increasing students' critical thinking, making Islamic Religious Education learning more contextual, fun, and directed.

Abstract

Indonesia is a multicultural nation characterized by ethnic, religious, cultural, and linguistic diversity, which requires the education system to manage differences in an inclusive and civilized manner. Multicultural education is considered a strategic approach to fostering tolerance, social justice, and national unity, particularly within Islamic educational institutions. However, its implementation in Indonesia still faces various challenges from both internal and external factors.This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia using a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding and formulate contextual strengthening strategies. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed through reduction, display, and categorization into a SWOT matrix.The findings indicate that the strengths of multicultural education lie in socio-cultural diversity, the ideological foundation of Pancasila, and national education policy support. Nonetheless, weaknesses persist in educators’ understanding, curriculum integration, and institutional inclusivity. Opportunities arise from religious moderation policies, educational technology development, and increasing public awareness, while threats include intolerance, radicalism, identity politicization, and negative digital media influences.

Abstract

This research aimed at testing the influence of internet utilization as a learning resource toward Islamic Education on learning achievement at State Senior High School 1 Tambang. Quantitative approach was used in this research with quasi experimental method. All the tenth-grade students were the population of this research, and they were 189 students. The samples were 64 students selected by using purposive sampling technique, 32 students were the experimental group, and 32 students were the control group. The techniques of collecting data were test and questionnaire. The technique of analyzing data was t-test analysis. Based on the research findings, it could be concluded that there was an influence of internet utilization as a learning resource toward Islamic Education learning achievement at State Senior High School 1 Tambang. It could be proven with the score of  higher than  (4.677>2.000). Student learning achievement was increased by utilizing the internet as a learning resource with the mean scores 79.56 in the experimental group and 70.97 in the control group.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk mengoptimalkan penguatan moral siswa Generasi Z melalui manajemen pendidikan berbasis digitalisasi pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perencanaan, digitalisasi pembelajaran dalam penguatan moral di SMPIT Al-Fath Payakumbuh. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan enam informan (kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan digitalisasi pembelajaran dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan guru melalui forum formal dan informal, dengan fokus pada pengadaan perangkat teknologi, pengembangan media pembelajaran bernilai moral, serta pengintegrasian nilai Islam dalam materi pelajaran sesuai visi dan misi sekolah. Kesimpulannya,  perencanaan pendidikan Islam berbasis digitalisasi pembelajaran di SMPIT Al-Fath Payakumbuh berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam penguatan moral siswa generasi Z, namun perlu penyempurnaan perencanaan  yang lebih komprehensif agar hasilnya optimal.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to test influence of islamic spiritual activities and discipline of congregational prayers on the religious character of students at state islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city. This research is a field research with a quantitative approach, the sample of this research is the students of state Islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city with a total of 220 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Linear and Multiple Regression. The results of this research indicate that Islamic Spiritual Activities have a significant influence on the Religious Character of state islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city. This is indicated by the results of t count greater than t table (64.462 > 0.138) with a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05. With a large contribution of 3%. The discipline of Congregational Prayer has a significant influence on the Religious Character of state islamic senior high school. This is shown by the results of t count greater than t table (0.684 > 0, 138) with a sig. 0.000 < 0.05. With a large contribution of 46.8%. There is a significant influence of Islamic Spiritual Activities and Discipline of Congregational Prayers on the Religious Character of the Students of the state islamic senior high school in Pekanbaru city. This is indicated by the results of the value of f count > f table (97.446 > 0.138). with a large contribution of 53.2%. This means that the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 53.2%.Copyright © 2018, AL-USWAH. All rights reserved

Abstract

The concept of women’s education according to KH. Hasyim Asy’ari asserts that both men and women have equal rights to access education without distinction. This study aims to explore the concept of educational equality for women in his thought and practice. Using a qualitative literature study, primary data were obtained from al-‘Alim wa al-Muta‘allim, while secondary data were drawn from journal articles and relevant literature. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, and content analysis was applied. The findings reveal that KH. Hasyim Asy’ari viewed women’s education not only as personal development but also as the foundation of civilization, since women play a vital role in shaping future generations. He regarded women as imad al-bilad (pillars of the nation), making education essential in forming their character. His efforts in advancing women’s education included giving attention to his daughters’ education, organizing majelis ta’lim for women, accommodating female students at Tebuireng Islamic boarding school, and proposing the establishment of schools or madrasahs for women.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencapai ketercapaian tujuan Program Ngaji Pagi Metode Tilawati di SD Muhammadiyah 3 Samarinda menggunakan model Goal oriented Evaluation (GOE). Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mendapatkan gambaran menyeluruh tentang pencapaian program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran, tajwid, dan makharijul huruf siswa dengan tingkat pencapaian antara 70-90% siswa per jenjang kelas. Studi ini menemukan bahwa pengorganisasian pelaksanaan program dan dukungan sumber daya memadai mendukung keberhasilan tersebut meskipun terdapat kendala waktu pelaksanaan dan pemahaman orang tua. Kesimpulannya, Metode Tilawati dengan evaluasi GOE terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Quran secara signifikan di lingkungan sekolah formal. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan desain multikasus dan alat ukur objektif dalam evaluasi.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the declining interest and enthusiasm for reading among university students, which is further exacerbated by the rise of digital distractions and the increasing dependence on instant information and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This study aims to examine the concept of Iqra’ in Q.S. Al-‘Alaq and its relevance as a foundation for spiritual and intellectual motivation in enhancing the reading interest of undergraduate students in Qur’anic Studies (Ilmu Al-Qur’an dan Tafsir) at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra in the digital era. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative approach is used to measure students’ reading interest through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires, while the qualitative approach explores in-depth factors influencing this phenomenon through interviews and observations. The research population consists of Qur’anic Studies students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The sample is selected using purposive sampling, considering students’ involvement and experience in literacy activities and digital media use. The study indicates that the concept of Iqra’ can encourage students’ reading interest; however, institutional support and literacy programs are needed to ensure sustainable impact.
