Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of arm muscle strength training and hand-eye coordination exercises on free throw shooting performance in the basketball team of SMA Negeri 15 Luwu. The research employed an experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 24 students, divided into two groups: Group A underwent arm muscle strength training, while Group B performed hand-eye coordination exercises, with a training frequency of 16 sessions. The instrument used was a free throw shooting test conducted with a basketball hoop within the designated shooting area. Data analysis revealed that both types of training had a significant effect on improving free throw shooting performance. Based on the paired sample t-test, a significance value of p < 0.05 was obtained for both groups. Furthermore, the independent sample t-test showed no significant difference between Group A and Group B (p = 0.572). Therefore, it can be concluded that arm muscle strength training and hand-eye coordination exercises do not differ significantly in enhancing free throw shooting performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis inisiatif pelestarian kain tenun di Kampung Bandar, di tengah tantangan modernisasi dan perubahan preferensi masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya pelestarian kain tenun memerlukan kolaborasi sinergis antara pengrajin, komunitas setempat, pemerintah, serta generasi muda. Rumah Tenun Kampung Bandar menerapkan teknik tradisional alat tenun bukan mesin (ATBM), inovasi dalam pemasaran melalui platform media sosial, dan integrasi program pendidikan budaya untuk meningkatkan penghargaan masyarakat terhadap produk tenun lokal. Walaupun dihadapkan pada hambatan seperti penurunan minat generasi muda, keterbatasan akses pasar, serta persaingan dengan tekstil kontemporer, partisipasi aktif komunitas dan dukungan kebijakan publik menjadi pendorong utama keberhasilan pelestarian. Penelitian ini menegaskan signifikansi pendidikan yang berbasis budaya, pemberdayaan ekonomi kreatif, serta adaptasi desain agar kain tenun Kampung Bandar tetap bermakna dan kompetitif dalam konteks globalisasi.

Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif siswa TK sangat penting untuk mendapatkan perhatian guru. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif siswa TK adalah metode read aloud. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Geunaseh Ma dengan tujuan menganalisis tingkat perkembangan kognitif siswa TK dengan menggunakan metode read aloud. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dnegan observasi langsung, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Sumber data terdiri atas 20 siswa TK Geunaseh Ma dan guru pengajar. Proses observasi meliputi kegiatan read aloud buku cerita anak, tanya jawab, diskusi kelompok, penggunaan kartu, gambar, dan puzzle dalam implementasi read aloud yang interaktif dan ekspresif. Data dianalisis dengan mengidentifikasi dan merepresentasikan perkembangan kognitif berdasarkan catatan lapangan, tanya jawab, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa read aloud memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan kognitif siswa TK Geunaseh Ma. Sebanyak 70% siswa memperlihatkan perkembangan kognitif yang baik, 20% perkembangan kognitifnya sedang, dan 10% perkembangan kognitifnya kurang dan membutuhkan bimbingan yang intensif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of using YouTube on science learning outcomes in pressure-related material for students at SMPN 1 Polongbangkeng Utara. The background to this study is based on students' difficulties in understanding the abstract concept of pressure, which requires visualisation to reinforce understanding. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative with a quasi-experimental design through the administration of pre-tests and post-tests to 20 students. The results of the study show an increase in the average score from 64.5 on the pretest to 83.5 on the posttest, accompanied by a decrease in standard deviation from 24.95 to 17.11. These findings indicate that YouTube is effective in improving students' understanding of concepts and equalising learning outcomes. This effectiveness is in line with multimedia learning theory, which emphasises the importance of combining visual and audio elements in the learning process. Thus, YouTube can be used as an alternative learning medium that can improve science learning outcomes, particularly in pressure-related material.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on adolescent behavior and interaction patterns, including increasing the risk of involvement in cybercrime. This situation demands strengthening digital legal literacy through the development of a curriculum that is relevant, systematic, and responsive to the challenges of the digital era. This study aims to analyze the needs, challenges, and opportunities in designing an effective digital legal literacy curriculum to prevent cybercrime among adolescents. The research method used was a literature review with a qualitative approach, examining various academic sources, regulations, journals, and reports related to digital literacy, legal education, and cybersecurity issues. The results indicate that adolescents' lack of understanding of digital ethics, legal regulations, and the consequences of online actions are factors that increase the potential for cyber violations. On the other hand, the digital era provides significant opportunities through the use of interactive media, adaptive learning modules, and educational platforms that can strengthen legal awareness. The novelty of this study lies in the formulation of a strategic framework for developing a digital legal literacy curriculum that includes improving educator competency, integrating cyber law material into the school curriculum, and utilizing technology as a preventive educational tool. Thus, the development of a digital legal literacy curriculum is expected to be a strategic step in shaping responsible digital behavior while preventing cybercrime among adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to ensure the success of the government's program, the Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children. On the other hand, character building for students is an important aspect in education. Positive character building is an important foundation for future moral, social, and academic development. Positive habit activities at Elementary School Pangkah 07 were developed through a habit-building program called 'Gerobak Bakso', an abbreviation of Gerakan Baik Bakti Sosial (Good Social Service Movement). The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The research subjects were the principal, teachers, and students in grades I until VI. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation of school programs. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of positive habit education at Elementary School Pangkah 07 was carried out in a programmed manner through routine 'Gerobak Bakso' activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implemetasi Pembelajaran berbasis project based learning (PjBL) pada permainan bola kasti untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri 003 Air Lengit. Model ini disusun untuk mendorong terciptanya ekosistem pembelajaran yang dinamis, kreatif, dan interaktif serta kolaboratif. Hal ini dilakukan melalui penerapan penyelesaian proyek yang terkait dengan pemahaman, penguasaan kompetensi dan implementasi dalam permainan bola kasti . Tahap penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang terdiri dari lima tahap Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL), yaitu: Penentuan proyek, Perencanaan proyek, Pelaksanaan proyek, Pemantauan dan Evaluasi, Presentasi Hasil serta Refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi mengenai kegiatan siswa saat belajar PJOK. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan PjBL mampu meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, serta keterlibatan aktif siswa. Siswa memperlihatkan antusiasme dan peningkatan kompetensi dalam permainan bola kasti. Kendala yang sangat umum dihadapi adalah perbedaan tingkat kompetensi awal siswa dalam penguasaan dan praktik permainan kasti.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Smart Board learning media and its effectiveness in improving early reading skills among first-grade students at SD Negeri 5 Gu, Central Buton Regency. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 15 students, and the data were collected through observations and oral tests, then analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques. The results showed that the Smart Board media increased students’ learning activity and early reading ability. Mastery learning improved from 40% in Cycle I to 86.66% in Cycle II, surpassing the classical mastery criterion of 80%. Students also demonstrated higher motivation, participation, and accuracy in recognizing letters and reading simple words. Thus, the Smart Board effectively enhances early reading skills in first-grade students

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively describe the policy formulation process within the Indonesian education system. The national education system emphasizes that all forms of educational activities must be optimally organized and developed to achieve national education goals. In its implementation, sound decisions are required to ensure that the resulting policies are truly effective and aligned with the needs of the educational community. One crucial stage in the policy process is agenda setting, which serves to draw the government's attention to the various issues, challenges, and competition emerging in the world of education. This process requires a clear theoretical framework to ensure policy formulation has direction, a scientific basis, and measurable objectives. Thus, policy formulation in educational institutions can have strong legitimacy and be accountable. Furthermore, the success of education policy formulation is also greatly influenced by the roles of the actors involved and the approaches used at each stage of the policy process. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya orang tua merantau untuk kerja keluar kota di SDN 1 Gapura Tengah yang mengakibatkan adanya pendampingan yang berbeda pada setiap peserta didik. Perlu adanya strategi untuk tatap mewadahi peran orang tua yang merantau. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. karena peneletian ini bertujuan untuk memahami strategi, pandangan, dan makna dibalik tindakan guru, bukan hanya sekedar mengukur angka. Dalam teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam yang dilakukan kepada guru kelas I, III, dan VI dan kepala sekolah untuk menggali strategi spesifik yang mereka terapkan, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta pandangan mereka tentang dampak adanya “Orang Tua Perantau” terhadap anak, kedua menggunakan Observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Penelitian di SDN 1 Gapura Tengah menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian orang tua di luar daerah, keterlibatan mereka dalam pendidikan anak tetap terjaga melalui strategi yang diambil sekolah seperti program khusus (kelas parenting) yang membekali pengetahuan bagi orang tua untuk mendukung pengasuhan anak dari jarak jauh. Strategi komunikasi sekolah, termasuk grup WhatsApp dan pertemuan berkala, secara efektif diterapkan untuk memungkinkan orang tua memadukan perkembangan anak tanpa hambatan proses belajar mengajar. Selain itu, peran guru dalam memberikan bimbingan dan dukungan, dikombinasikan dengan pemantauan orang tua melalui media komunikasi serta bantuan anggota keluarga lainnya, mewujudkan implementasi pembelajaran di rumah yang optimal, sehingga motivasi siswa tetap terjaga meskipun orang tua tidak hadir secara fisik, yang pada akhirnya mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan jarak jauh di tengah tantangan perantauan. Serta kolaborasi dengan keluarga yang ada dirumah sebagai pendamping dan juga penghubung antara orang tua dan guru Kata Kunci: Strategi guru, Orang Tua Perantau, Proses Pembelajaran
