Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership strategies of school principals in fostering teachers' handarbeni (sense of ownership) in two early childhood education institutions: TK Ananda and TK Al Muttaqin in Driyorejo. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that principals who apply transformational leadership principles—idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—successfully enhance teachers' emotional engagement and sense of responsibility. Despite challenges such as resource limitations and teacher resistance, these strategies effectively build collaborative and productive work cultures. These results contribute to the development of leadership practices in education to improve school quality.

This study aims to examine the competence of Arabic language teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at MA Dafi Pesantren Al-Qur'an Science Sidoarjo and the challenges faced. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that teachers have good competence in understanding student characteristics, designing project-based learning, and applying interactive methods and varied evaluations. However, the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum faces obstacles such as low student motivation, limited interesting teaching materials, lack of supporting environment for Arabic language practice, and minimal utilization of technology in learning. This study recommends strengthening teacher training in technology integration, developing teaching materials that are more contextual and applicable, and institutional support in creating a more effective learning environment. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for improving Arabic learning strategies in the Merdeka Curriculum in the pesantren environment.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa Kelas VII D SMPIT Darul Fikri Sidoarjo dengan menerapkan metode eklektik, yang menggabungkan metode langsung dan metode audiolingual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan model Kurt Lewin, yang terdiri dari pra-siklus, Siklus I, dan Siklus II. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa perempuan dari Kelas VII D. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes, serta dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa metode eklektik secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Pada tahap pra-siklus, penguasaan pembelajaran klasik siswa hanya mencapai 62,50%. Setelah Siklus I, tingkat penguasaan meningkat menjadi 70,83%. Pada Siklus II, mencapai 87,50%, melampaui kriteria keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya sebesar 85%. Metode eklektik terbukti meningkatkan minat siswa dan memfasilitasi penggunaan kosakata dalam praktik berbicara bahasa Arab. Oleh karena itu, metode ini dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk pembelajaran bahasa Arab

Setiap warga negara, termasuk anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), berhak mendapatkan akses terhadap pendidikan yang berkualitas. Pendidikan inklusi hadir sebagai pendekatan yang memungkinkan ABK untuk belajar bersama teman-teman mereka dalam lingkungan yang setara, tanpa adanya diskriminasi. Kebutuhan khusus ABK sangat beragam, mencakup berbagai hambatan fisik, intelektual, sosial-emosional, serta potensi luar biasa yang mereka miliki. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pendidikan yang sesuai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Di sini, peran guru sebagai pilar utama dalam proses pembelajaran dan kolaborasi yang erat antara guru dan orang tua menjadi kunci keberhasilan pendidikan inklusi. Kolaborasi ini memungkinkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kondisi ABK, sehingga solusi pendidikan dapat dioptimalkan berdasarkan kebutuhan masing-masing anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk menggali pengalaman subjektif individu terhadap pendidikan inklusi. Kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan siswa, baik dalam aspek akademik maupun perilaku.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis cerpen Cita-Cita Nur karya Lexi Weleri melalui pendekatan wacana kritis Sara Mills yang berfokus pada representasi perempuan dan bias gender dalam teks. Cerpen ini mengisahkan perjuangan seorang gadis desa bernama Nur yang bercita-cita menjadi dokter kandungan di tengah tekanan norma sosial dan keluarganya yang menghendaki ia segera menikah. Melalui pendekatan Sara Mills, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa tokoh perempuan diposisikan dalam kerangka wacana yang menekan keinginan personalnya, menjadikannya objek dalam masyarakat patriarkal. Pendekatan ini mengungkap bias gender dan pola marginalisasi dalam teks, menampilkan bagaimana nilai sosial mengkonstruksi posisi perempuan.

This research was motivated by low student learning motivation and less than optimal teacher skills in implementing the learning model at SDN Cinunuk 01 Bandung. This research aims to measure the level of student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially the historical material Getting to Know Khulafaurrasyidin, by applying the Talking Stick cooperative learning model. Apart from that, this research also aims to determine the differences in learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample involved class V-B as the experimental class and one other class as the control class. The results showed that students' learning motivation in the control class did not experience a significant increase and remained at a moderate level. Before the treatment, the average score for learning motivation was 120.77, while after the treatment it increased to 141.63. The learning motivation of students in the experimental class increased significantly to reach a high level. Before treatment, the average score for learning motivation was 121.20, and after being given the Talking Stick cooperative learning model, it increased to 157.80 and the effectiveness of increasing learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class was proven through t test analysis. The analysis results show that the calculated t value is greater than the t table (15.492 > 2.002), so that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This indicates that there is a difference in the average post-test learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. From the research results, it can be concluded that the Talking Stick cooperative learning model is effective in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially in the Getting to Know Khulafaurrasyidin material.

The love for one's country is increasingly being degraded among young people in the contemporary era due to students' lack of extensive knowledge and understanding of national culture. This correlates with students' learning and sense of nationalism which is starting to disappear due to developments over time and the impact of westernization. The research conducted by researchers used a qualitative research approach design with a case study method. This research chose the Elementary School at Makkah Indonesian School for grade 4 students as the research location because the school consists of heterogeneous student conditions with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that the Makkah Indonesian School already understands the description and objectives regarding Pancasila values education, the principal and teachers have planned the implementation of Pancasila values education, and the realization of Pancasila values education has been seen. implemented optimally, and in the evaluation of Pancasila values education at the Makkah Indonesian School, there are still at least not very significant obstacles Keywords: Pancasila, Education, Mecca Indonesian School

The rapid advancement of digital technology has led to the rise of online gaming, which has significantly affected various aspects of daily life, including education. This study aims to analyze the impact of online games on students' concentration and academic performance in the classroom. Online games can have both positive and negative effects on students. On the positive side, certain games are designed to enhance cognitive skills, such as critical thinking, strategy, and teamwork. However, the negative effects are more pronounced in students who become addicted to online gaming. Excessive time spent playing games can interfere with study time, reduce concentration in class, and hinder academic achievement. Students who frequently play online games tend to be more easily distracted, struggle to maintain focus, and become disengaged during lessons. Research findings indicate a significant negative correlation between the amount of time spent playing online games and academic performance. Students who spend longer hours gaming tend to have lower academic scores compared to those who game less. Therefore, it is crucial for schools and parents to monitor online game usage and set appropriate time limits to prevent it from disrupting effective learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi kepemimpinan transformatif kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Semowo dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru menghadapi disrupsi teknologi di era Society 5.0. Kepemimpinan transformatif didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan kepala sekolah untuk menginspirasi, memotivasi, dan memberdayakan guru melalui pendekatan inovatif dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah yang mengadopsi kepemimpinan transformatif berhasil menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan guru, pengembangan profesional, dan pembentukan budaya kolaborasi, yang secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepala sekolah untuk terus mengembangkan strategi kepemimpinan transformatif yang mendukung inovasi pendidikan di era Society 5.0.

ABSTRACT This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the Make a Match learning model with syllable card media in improving the reading skills of class IA students of SDK Maria Ferrari. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. This research was conducted at SDK Maria Ferrari by taking one class as a research sample, namely class IA, which consisted of 26 students. Samples were taken using a non-probability sampling technique of saturated sampling type. The data collection technique is carried out through tests and observations, with initial reading test instruments and observation sheets of students' initial reading ability. The results of data analysis with individual completeness tests produced t_hitung = 3.27 greater than t_tabel = 1.711 at a significant level of 5% so that the hypothesis H_a accepted. The classical completeness test showed a value of Z_hitung = 2.04 with a significant result of α = 0.05. The distribution table z is obtained Z_tabel = 1.96 because Z_hitung > Z_tabel can then. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas model pembelajaran Make a Match dengan media kartu suku kata dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas IA SDK Maria Ferrari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDK Maria Ferrari dengan mengambil satu kelas sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IA, yang terdiri dari 26 siswa. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling jenis sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan observasi, dengan instrumen tes membaca permulaan dan lembar observasi kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Hasil analisis data dengan uji ketuntasan individu menghasilkan = 3,27 lebih besar dari = 1,711 pada taraf signifikan 5% sehingga hipotesis diterima. Uji ketuntasan klasikal menunjukan nilai = 2,04 dengan menunjukkan hasil taraf signifikan = 0,05. Tabel distibusi z diperoleh = 1,96 karena > maka dapat katakan bahwa ditolak dan diterima. Dengan demikian disimpulkan model Make a Match dengan media kartu suku kata efektif meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas IA SDK Maria Ferrari.
