Abstract

This study aims to analyze operational risks in receivables management at PT XYZ using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and House of Risk (HOR) methods. Data were obtained from the Prima Application and internal company documents. The FMEA method was used to identify risk priorities based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN), while HOR was used to determine mitigation strategies based on Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP) and Effectiveness to Difficulty (ETD). The results indicate that the main risks include payment delays, administrative errors, and customers’ inability to fulfill payment obligations. The primary causes are weak customer verification, ineffective credit policies, and lack of receivables monitoring. Priority mitigation strategies include routine receivables monitoring, implementation of invoice SOPs, and stricter credit policies. The combination of both methods provides a more comprehensive and effective risk analysis. Keywords: operational risk, FMEA, House of Risk, risk mitigation, receivables

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of animated video media on student learning outcomes in the material of listening due to sound in grade V of SDN Cukir 1 Jombang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest–posttest type. The subjects of the study were grade V students of SDN Cukir 1 Jombang. Data collection techniques were carried out through pretest and posttest tests, while data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and test differences in learning outcomes before and after treatment. The results showed that the average score of students before the use of animated video media was 65.4 and increased to 82.3 after the use of animated video media. Student learning completeness also increased from 58% in the pretest to 85% in the posttest. In addition, the use of animated video media was able to increase students' activeness, learning interest, and listening skills in understanding the concept of sound. Based on these results, it can be concluded that animated video media has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes in the material of listening due to sound in grade V of SDN Cukir 1 Jombang.

Abstract

Tolerance is a crucial instrument in maintaining harmony within Indonesia’as pluralistic society: however, reality indicates that phenomena of intolerance are still frequently encountered among school-aged adolescents. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) occupies a strategic position in shaping inclusive character, although in practice, it often remains confined to the mere transfer of knowledge (knowing) without addressing the dimensions of appreciation (feeling) and practice (acting). This research aims to deeply examine the strategies for internalizing tolerance values in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 1 Palang, an institution characterized by a heterogeneous student background. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach utilizing a case study design. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, PAI teachers, and students. Data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings reveal that the process of internalizing tolerance values at SMP Negeri 1 Palang is carried out through three systematic stages: First, value transformation through the provision of a one-way cognitive foundation regarding the boundaries of tolerance, based on the theological principles of Surah Al-Hujurat verse 13. Second, value transaction, which is dialogic and interactive, implemented through the habituation of the 3S culture (smile, greet, and salute) and collective religious activities. Third, trans-internalization of values, involving the integration of values into the students' personalities through teacher role-modeling (uswah hasanah) and a conducive school environment. The success of this internalization is supported by character-strengthening programs such as the Roots anti-bullying program, despite facing challenges from family backgrounds and social media influence. This study underscores the importance of a holistic strategy that combines intracurricular learning with an inclusive school culture to foster authentic tolerant attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based vocal warm-up application called IQBAL VOICE as an innovative learning medium that can be used independently by the general public. The background of this study is based on the low level of awareness among individuals regarding the importance of performing vocal warm-ups before singing, which may lead to improper techniques, off-pitch singing, vocal muscle tension, and long-term vocal cord disorders. In addition, existing vocal technique learning methods are still largely conventional and have not optimally utilized digital technology to support independent learning. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of stages such as needs analysis, design, development, expert validation, and limited user testing. The product developed is an interactive web-based application featuring three levels of exercises—Easy, Medium, and Hard—organized in a gradual and systematic manner to support self-learning. The results of the study indicate that the IQBAL VOICE application is considered feasible based on validation by subject matter experts and media experts, and it has received positive responses from users. This application helps users learn vocal warm-ups independently in a flexible, effective, and structured way.

Abstract

The trolley is a critical component in transporting Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) during the sterilization process in palm oil mills. Wheel damage often disrupts production. This study aims to identify the types of wheel damage, analyze their causes, and calculate the resulting downtime at PT ABC. The research employed field observations, interviews, and operational data analysis. Results indicate that the most common damages are flange wear and bearing failure due to excessive loads and insufficient lubrication, reducing daily production efficiency. Recommended mitigation measures include enhanced preventive maintenance schedules and standardization of trolley load to extend wheel lifespan.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Story Chain game in improving the Indonesian language speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Ana'Gowa. This research is an experimental study with a quantitative approach. The experimental design used in this study was a pre-experimental design with one group of subjects, namely One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample used was 32 fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Ana'Gowa. Based on the research results, data analysis, and discussion, it can be concluded that the story chain game is effective in improving the Indonesian language speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Ana'Gowa, Gowa Regency. This can be seen from the comparison of the pretest and posttest results, where there was an increase in the average student score from 62.8 in the pretest to 80.5 in the posttest. In addition, there was an increase in the number of students in the high and very high categories after the implementation of the story chain game in the learning process. The results of the inferential statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test also showed a significance value of Asymp. Significant difference (2-tailed) < 0.05

Abstract

This study examines the educational role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implemented by PT Pos Indonesia in empowering Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). The research is motivated by the gap between the conceptual framework of CSR as a sustainable capacity-building instrument and its practical implementation in the field. The objective of this study is to analyze how CSR functions as an educational process in empowering MSEs toward sustainability. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving five informants consisting of three MSE partners and two CSR managers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies, supported by bibliometric analysis to map research trends related to CSR and empowerment. The findings reveal that CSR has provided educational support through training and business facilitation; however, its implementation remains limited, as the training is not continuous and not fully aligned with the specific needs of MSEs. In addition, the lack of sustained mentoring results in a fragmented learning process, leading MSEs to rely more on individual experience rather than structured program support. From a theoretical perspective, the CSR program is still positioned at the enabling stage rather than fully achieving empowering, as it has not yet developed into an integrated and sustainable learning system. Therefore, the study highlights the importance of strengthening continuous training and mentoring to enhance the effectiveness of CSR as an educational instrument in empowering MSEs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji masalah yang dialami siswa kelas V SD saat mengikuti proses pembelajaran IPAS. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Tinjauan Pustaka Sistematis (SLR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang mencakup pengumpulan serta berbagai analisis artikel ilmiah terkait dari platform Google Scholar untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai jenis, penyebab, dan cara mengatasi kesulitan belajar. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hambatan dalam belajar dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti rendahnya minat dan motivasi siswa, juga faktor eksternal seperti kurangnya variasi dalam metode pengajaran, media dan sumber belajar, serta minimnya dukungan dari lingkungan belajar. Bentuk kesulitan yang dihadapi meliputi kesulitan dalam memahami istilah-istilah ilmiah, menghubungkan konsep, dan merangkum materi yang telah dipelajari.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in-depth the vertical perming technique in modern hair styling design, including conceptual understanding, implementation procedures, and its application in beauty salons. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature study type that examines various sources, including scientific journals, theses, and research articles related to hair perming. The object of study is focused on the practice of vertical perming applied in beauty salons as part of professional hair styling services. Data analysis techniques use content analysis with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that vertical perming is a hair rolling technique with the roller positioned perpendicularly following the direction of hair fall, producing elongated, soft, and natural curls. The implementation procedure includes preparation stages, hair diagnosis, washing, hair parting, vertical rolling, solution application, perming process, rinsing, neutralization, and finishing. The success factors of this technique are determined by the accuracy of roller selection, hair health conditions, and the technical mastery of the hairstylist. This study concludes that the vertical perming technique is an essential competency in hair beauty because it can create natural and voluminous curl designs according to the client's facial characteristics.

Abstract

Ethical decline has been observed among dormitory residents due to their inability to properly carry out their responsibilities. This issue needs to be addressed through strategic efforts, particularly through the practice of chanting the Bhagavad Gita. The purpose of this study is to enable dormitory residents to understand the process of chanting the Bhagavad Gita and to apply its teachings in their daily lives in accordance with ethical values. This research employs a qualitative phenomenological approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results indicate that dormitory residents are able to implement the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita after interpreting the chanting process.
