Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of wakalah bil ujrah among clothing traders at Pasar Sentral Pangkep and to examine its compliance from the perspective of Islamic economic law. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive and normative-empirical approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, involving clothing traders and the market head as key informants. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the practice of wakalah bil ujrah occurs when a trader who does not have the requested goods seeks them from another trader with the buyer’s approval. In this practice, the intermediary trader acts as an agent (wakil), while the owner of the goods acts as the principal (muwakkil), and the profit is obtained from the price margin. This practice is influenced by the desire to retain customers, limited stock availability, and strong social relationships among traders. It also provides positive impacts such as increasing transaction opportunities and improving distribution efficiency. From the perspective of Islamic economic law, this practice fulfills most of the essential elements of wakalah, including the presence of a principal, an agent, and a clearly defined object, and reflects principles such as mutual assistance, consent, honesty, and fairness. However, it does not fully comply with the requirements of wakalah bil ujrah due to the absence of clear contractual agreement and predetermined compensation, which may lead to elements of uncertainty (gharar). Furthermore, the practice resembles other contracts such as samsarah (brokerage) and ju’alah, thus it can be categorized as a hybrid contract in contemporary Islamic transactions. Therefore, improvements in transparency and clarity of agreement are necessary to align with Islamic economic law principles.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of syntactic errors encompassing errors at the phrase, clause, and sentence levels in the writing of popular scientific articles by eighth-grade students of UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method with data sources in the form of popular scientific article texts written by the students. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation as well as recording and coding of sentences containing syntactic errors, while data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that syntactic errors are still frequently found in students' writing at the phrase, clause, and sentence levels. Errors at the phrase level include inaccurate use of head and modifier elements as well as non-parallelism of coordinative elements; at the clause level, errors include incomplete subject and predicate elements as well as inappropriate use of bound clauses; while at the sentence level, errors include incomplete sentence structures, inappropriate use of conjunctions, ineffective sentences, and ambiguity. These errors are caused by students' lack of understanding of syntactic rules, the influence of regional languages, and insufficient writing practice, so that efforts to improve writing instruction with a greater focus on syntactic structure mastery are needed in order for students to produce writing that is accurate and well-formed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ participation in curriculum workshops and the effectiveness of learning at SMK Kansai Pekanbaru. The research applied a descriptive approach using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that teachers’ participation is categorized as very good with an average score of 3.43, reflected in active involvement in discussions, lesson plan development, and reflection. Learning effectiveness is also categorized as very good with an average score of 3.37, indicated by more engaging, student- centered learning and the use of technology-based media. Teachers who have not attended workshops rely on other sources for curriculum understanding, though less comprehensively. Overall, there is a strong relationship between teachers’ participation in workshops and improved learning effectiveness

Abstract

Euclidean geometry is a branch of mathematics that examines the properties of plane and spatial figures based on axioms and deductive reasoning. Therefore, understanding the concept of triangles is an important foundation for developing spatial abilities and problem-solving. Understanding the concept of triangles is crucial for spatial abilities and problem-solving. However, students still tend to memorize formulas without understanding their real-life applications. Therefore, culturally based questions such as traditional houses, ulos cloth, and traditional activities are used to assess conceptual understanding.This study applied a qualitative descriptive method involving 20 Mathematics Education students. Data were collected through an online ethnomathematics-based questionnaire and analyzed using Newman’s error analysis stages. The results showed that the highest errors occurred in understanding questions and writing final answers. Students also had difficulties transforming contextual problems into mathematical models. These findings indicate that the ethnomathematics approach provides more meaningful learning contexts, but students’ conceptual understanding still needs improvement through learning strategies that emphasize reasoning and mathematical communication.

Abstract

Poetry is a form of literary work that possesses strong expressive power in conveying ideas, emotions, and life experiences through aesthetic and symbolic language. This study aims to analyze figurative language and moral messages in a collection of poems by Sukarni, including Guru Ku, Desaku, Sekolahku, Sahabat, Andai, Nyanyian Hati, Indonesiaku, and Kopi Hitam. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through library research and note-taking. Data analysis is conducted using content analysis. The results indicate that dominant figurative languages include metaphor, personification, simile, and repetition. The moral messages reflect educational, moral, social, and national values. This study is expected to enhance readers' appreciation of literary works, particularly poetry.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the learning outcomes of students in the subject of science in grade IV of SDS IT Luqman Padang City are still low. The purpose of the research is to improve the learning outcomes of students in science using the jigsaw cooperative learning model in the learning process. The research used a type of classroom action research carried out in 2 learning cycles involving 22 grade IV students. The research used data collection techniques through observation, giving tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes in aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Improvements also showed in teacher activities, student activities, and the quality of learning planning. Therefore, through the jigsaw cooperative learning model is considered capable of helping improve students' science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the policy of the Pekalongan City Education Office in enforcing teacher professional ethics in the digital era during the 2020–2026 period. The problem addressed is the increasing number of ethical violations by teachers in digital spaces, influenced by rapid technological development and uneven digital literacy. The objective of this research is to analyze policy implementation, identify challenges, and formulate recommendations to improve its effectiveness. This study employs a qualitative approach using literature review, policy analysis, documentation, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The data are analyzed using content analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The findings indicate that the policy has a strong foundation, emphasizing professionalism, integrity, and responsible use of digital media, supported by training programs, supervision, and socialization. However, its implementation faces several challenges, including unequal understanding among teachers, inconsistent application across schools, limited digital literacy, and the rapid evolution of technology. Therefore, strengthening continuous training, providing clear technical guidelines, improving supervision systems, and enforcing consistent sanctions are necessary to enhance policy effectiveness. This study contributes to the development of adaptive and responsive educational policies in maintaining teacher professionalism in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Microteaching practice in preparing professional prospective Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and to identify critical gaps regarding the spiritual and reflective dimensions in the existing literature. The study was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. Following a rigorous staged selection process, a qualitative synthesis was performed on 10 final articles derived from 202 initially identified records. The findings indicate that Microteaching is highly effective in developing technical skills and mastering Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), but its evaluation tends to be mechanistic and fails to capture the Holistic dimension, specifically the spiritual and ethical aspects vital for PAI teacher professionalism. The main contribution (novelty) of this study is the proposed framework for the Holistic PAI Microteaching Model. This model suggests a paradigm shift toward reflective-clinical teacher education, adapting reflection into the mechanism of muhasabah (spiritual self-reflection), supported by technology integration such as video-supported collaborative learning to train ethical response and character. It is concluded that the adoption of the Holistic PAI Microteaching Model is a methodological imperative to produce graduates who are not only technically proficient but also possess complete character integrity and spirituality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh substitusi puree jagung manis terhadap kualitas bolu kemojo ditinjau dari aspek bentuk, warna, aroma, tekstur, dan rasa. Bolu kemojo merupakan kue tradisional khas Provinsi Riau yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan melalui inovasi bahan baku berbasis pangan lokal. Jagung manis (Zea mays Sacharata) dipilih sebagai bahan substitusi karena kaya akan kandungan nutrisi, karotenoid alami, serta memiliki rasa manis alami yang dapat memperkaya produk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen murni dengan empat taraf perlakuan: X0 (kontrol, tanpa substitusi), X1 (substitusi 20%), X2 (substitusi 30%), dan X3 (substitusi 40%). Data dikumpulkan melalui uji organoleptik oleh tiga panelis ahli dalam tiga kali berulang. Analisis data menggunakan ANAVA satu arah dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi puree jagung manis berpengaruh nyata terhadap aspek bentuk (Fhitung=4,24), warna (Fhitung=2,94), dan tekstur (Fhitung=3,09), namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap aroma (Fhitung=1,79) dan rasa (Fhitung=1,86). Perlakuan X1 dengan substitusi 20% menghasilkan kualitas keseluruhan tertinggi dengan rerata skor 3,22, menunjukkan keseimbangan terbaik antara karakter tradisional bolu kemojo dan karakteristik baru akibat penambahan puree jagung manis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan substitusi puree jagung manis sebesar 20% sebagai formula terbaik dalam pengembangan bolu kemojo inovatif berbasis pangan lokal.

Abstract

This study examines conversational implicature in an interview titled “Why AI is Overrated – with Neil deGrasse Tyson.” The research focuses on how implicature is formed through the flouting of Grice’s Cooperative Principle maxims. The objective is to identify the types of maxim flouting and interpret the implied meanings in the interaction between Hasan Minhaj and Neil deGrasse Tyson. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through transcription and analyzed using Grice’s theory. A total of 47 utterances containing potential implicature were identified, but only the most relevant data were selected through purposive sampling. The findings show that all four types of maxim flouting occur in the conversation, namely quality, quantity, relation, and manner. The flouting of maxims serves various communicative purposes, such as creating humor, expressing, simplifying complex ideas, and maintaining audience engagement. These results indicate that conversational implicature plays an important role in shaping meaning and interaction in interview-based media discourse.
