Abstract

TikTok has become one of the most popular social media platforms for content creators to build their personal branding. Erika Richardo is recognized for her distinctive painting content created on various unique media. This study aims to analyze Erika Richardo's personal branding strategy on her TikTok account, @erikarichardo, using Hubert K. Rampersad's Authentic Personal Branding theory. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a content analysis method. Data were collected through documentation and observation of 30 TikTok videos with high engagement rates. The findings indicate that Erika Richardo's personal branding is reflected through the dimensions of authenticity, integrity, specialization, authority, distinctiveness, visibility, persistence, goodwill, and performance. Among these, authority and distinctiveness emerged as the most dominant aspects, reflected in her large-scale creative projects, collaborations, and consistent presentation of paintings on unique media. In addition, the Unique Painting Media category represents Erika's primary identity as both an artist and a content creator. The study concludes that Erika Richardo's personal branding is built through competence, creativity, and consistency in producing authentic content on TikTok.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of illustrated comic media used by Posyandu cadres in delivering health information related to child growth and development at Posyandu Melati, Anjir Mambulau Barat Village. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed in this research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving three Posyandu cadres and five parents of toddlers. The results indicate that illustrated comic media is used by cadres as a supporting medium to convey health information that was previously delivered verbally. The media facilitates the connection between information in the Maternal and Child Health Handbook (KIA) and parents’ understanding through a more contextual visual representation. In addition, the use of comic media encourages more interactive communication between cadres and parents, reflected in increased engagement during Posyandu activities. Findings further show that the acceptance of health information is influenced not only by the media itself but also by the social context of the community, including trust relationships between cadres and parents as well as familiarity with visual-based communication. This suggests that the effectiveness of health education media is strongly shaped by social interaction within the Posyandu setting. In conclusion, illustrated comic media functions not only as a communication aid but also as a social medium that strengthens interaction between cadres and the community in child health education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a school website integrated with QR Code as an information and education at SDN 138/IV Kota Jambi. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The developed product was a school website integrated with QR Code to facilitate access to school information and support digital-based educational services. Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and user response questionnaires. The subjects involved vice principal, school operator, media expert, and language expert. The validation results showed that the product obtained a score of 92.5% from media experts and 94.2% from language experts, both categorized as very valid. The implementation stage included training for school operators to independently manage website content and the application of QR Codes on school information media. User responses showed a practicality score of 91.6% categorized as very practical. The effectiveness evaluation indicated that the website and QR Code improved access to school information and increased the number of new student registrations from 23 to 30 students. Therefore, the school website integrated with QR Code is proven to be valid, practical, and effective as a medium for information, education, and school promotion. This innovation supports the digital transformation of education and improves the quality of information services in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning obstacles and strategies for improving the quality of learning in Grade III of SD Negeri 40 Madu Sari Village. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach to provide a comprehensive description of the challenges encountered during the learning process and the efforts made to overcome them. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the classroom teacher, students, and the school principal. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed several factors affecting learning quality, including low student concentration during lessons, lack of student participation in classroom activities, reading difficulties experienced by some students, limited learning facilities and instructional media, and challenges in classroom management due to differences in students’ characteristics and learning abilities. To address these obstacles, teachers implemented various strategies, such as providing individual approaches to students, placing less focused students in the front row, giving special assistance to students with reading difficulties, utilizing available learning media, and creating a conducive classroom environment. Furthermore, efforts to improve learning quality can be strengthened through teacher professional development, adequate educational facilities, the integration of educational technology, collaboration between schools and parents, and the implementation of student-centered learning. These findings indicate that continuous and collaborative efforts are essential to create an effective, active, and meaningful learning process in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Instagram @brinpedia as a medium for disseminating research and innovation information by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using observation, interviews, active participation, and literature review. The findings show that @brinpedia is effectively utilized through visual content such as carousel posts and videos using simple and accessible language. Audience responses were generally positive, particularly toward the “Periset” series and technology-related innovation content. The main supporting factor is widespread social media use, while the primary challenge is the content validation process with researchers. The study highlights the important role of @brinpedia in disseminating research information to the public.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the development of QR-Code-based E-LKPD on the Topworksheet platform. This E-LKPD is an innovation in learning activities that can improve critical thinking and active student involvement in learning activities. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) where the Research question refers to the PRISMA guidelines, namely by analyzing 20 articles published in 2022-2026 and meeting the inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis show that the use of E-LKPD by utilizing digital platforms makes a positive contribution to increasing student learning motivation by creating an interesting and easy-to-use learning activity for students. These findings indicate that E-LKPD has the potential to support more innovative, effective, and efficient learning activities. This E-LKPD can also improve critical thinking skills and active student involvement in learning activities.Keywords: SLR, E-LKPD, Topworksheet, QR-Code

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the storytelling method in improving students' civic knowledge in Civic Education (PPKn). The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The research was conducted in class VIII C of SMP Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi involving 28 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using pretest and posttest instruments that measured students' civic knowledge. Data analysis included validity testing, normality testing, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and N-Gain analysis. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' civic knowledge after the implementation of the storytelling method. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test produced a significance value of less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. Furthermore, the N-Gain analysis showed that the improvement was categorized as moderate, demonstrating that storytelling effectively enhanced students' understanding of civic concepts. Therefore, storytelling can serve as an innovative and meaningful learning method to improve students' civic knowledge in Civic Education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical approaches applied by teachers in overcoming students' difficulties in reading Arabic (maharah qira'ah) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Nurul Yaqin Sungai Duren. The ability to read Arabic is an essential foundational skill that students need to master; however, in practice, various difficulties are still found that hinder the learning process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data sources included Arabic language teachers and students. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, using source triangulation and member checks to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that the pedagogical approach implemented by the teacher is student-centered learning, employing methods such as shared reading,轮流 reading (reading in turns), repeated practice, discussion, and individual guidance. The teacher also applies scaffolding strategies by providing gradual assistance to students experiencing difficulties. The reading difficulties encountered by students include: first, difficulty distinguishing Hijaiyah letters that have similar shapes, such as ب (ba), ت (ta), and ث (tsa), as well as ج (jim), ح (ha), and خ (kha). Second, errors in reading vowel marks (harakat). Third, difficulty pronouncing new vocabulary. The factors causing these difficulties consist of internal factors (differences in basic abilities, low mastery of letters) and external factors (lack of practice at home, limited learning time). The pedagogical approaches applied proved effective in overcoming students' reading difficulties. This is evidenced by improvements in students' ability to recognize letters, accuracy of pronunciation, reading fluency, as well as increased motivation and self-confidence. This study recommends that teachers continue to develop varied and adaptive pedagogical approaches, and enrich learning media to support the improvement of students' Arabic reading skills.

Abstract

Early childhood education (ECE) plays a fundamental role in shaping children's personality and moral foundations, yet the implementation of character education in practice still faces various obstacles due to approaches that tend to be general and less contextual. Meanwhile, the demand for early science literacy is increasingly urgent in the era of globalization, but the ECE curriculum has not yet integrated scientific concepts with culture and environment in an applicable manner. This study aims to synthesize findings regarding the potential of local wisdom as a medium for instilling social character and science literacy in early childhood through a systematic literature review. The method employed is a systematic literature review (SLR) following the PRISMA protocol, which consists of four main stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Literature searches were conducted on reputable academic databases including Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, and Google Scholar with publication range from 2020 to 2026, using keywords such as "local wisdom," "social character," "science literacy," and "early childhood education." From 227 identified literature sources, 54 articles met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. The results of the analysis using VOSviewer showed that the most dominant keywords were "anak usia dini" (100), "karakter sosial" (95), "early childhood" (90), "local wisdom" (85), and "pendidikan anak usia dini" (80), while "literasi sains" appeared with a frequency of 75 and "kajian literatur sistematis" with a frequency of 65. The main findings reveal that local wisdom has proven effective as a medium for instilling social character through traditional games, folktales, and local rituals, as well as a medium for introducing science literacy through an ethnoscience approach that connects scientific concepts with children's real experiences. This study concludes that local wisdom has significant potential as an integrative medium for instilling social character and science literacy in early childhood, although research on the integration of science literacy remains limited, thus requiring further study development. This study recommends the systematic integration of local wisdom into the ECE curriculum and the development of innovative learning media based on culture and technology.

Abstract

This study investigated the correlation between students' habit of watching English movies and their motivation in speaking English at the English Education Program of STKIP Bina Mutiara Sukabumi. A quantitative correlational design was employed involving 20 fourth-semester students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using two Likert-scale questionnaires measuring students' habit of watching English movies and their motivation in speaking English. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson Product Moment Correlation with IBM SPSS Statistics. The findings revealed that students demonstrated high levels of both watching habits and speaking motivation. The correlation analysis showed a very strong positive relationship between the two variables (r = 0.886, p < .05), indicating that students who more frequently watched English movies tended to have higher motivation to speak English. The study concludes that habitual exposure to English movies contributes positively to students' motivation in speaking English.
