Abstract

This study aimed to improve elementary school students' responsibility character through the implementation of a Classroom Work-Based Project at SDN 064990. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 30 elementary school students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and responsibility-character assessment sheets. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques based on the percentage of responsibility character achievement. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Classroom Work-Based Project successfully enhanced students' responsibility character. The level of responsibility increased from 61.83% in the preliminary condition to 74.67% in Cycle I and reached 88.91% in Cycle II, which was categorized as excellent. Students also demonstrated better discipline, independence, environmental awareness, and collaborative skills in completing classroom responsibilities. Therefore, the Classroom Work-Based Project can be considered an effective instructional strategy for strengthening character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based inventory management information system at SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin Cisurupan to overcome the constraints of conventional asset management. The main problems faced by the school include difficulties in data retrieval, inventory inaccuracies, and inefficient infrastructure reporting workflows. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents. Data analysis was performed using percentage techniques to map user needs regarding system features. The results show that 96.7% of respondents support the transition to a digital system, as it is considered capable of improving transparency and the speed of asset information access. The designed system provides key features such as centralized data input, automatic maintenance management, and real-time inventory reports. Test results indicate that this web-based system effectively reduces administrative bureaucracy and improves staff work effectiveness. With the implementation of this system, SMK Nuurul Muttaqiin is expected to achieve more professional, accountable, and data-driven asset governance. The success of this system serves as a foundation for the school to undertake more comprehensive digital transformation in the future.

Abstract

Vocabulary mastery is a fundamental competence that elementary school students need to acquire as a foundation for developing their English language skills. However, the continued use of conventional teaching methods often limits students' active participation and reduces their motivation to learn new vocabulary. One alternative to address this issue is the integration of digital learning media, such as Wordwall, which can promote a more interactive and engaging learning environment. This study aims to analyze the use of Wordwall as an interactive learning medium to improve English vocabulary mastery among elementary school students. The study employed a library research method using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through the identification, selection, and review of ten relevant scientific articles, which were subsequently analyzed using the content analysis technique to produce a comprehensive synthesis of previous research findings. The findings indicate that Wordwall functions as an effective interactive learning medium by enhancing students' learning motivation, participation, engagement, and self-confidence during English learning activities. Furthermore, the implementation of Wordwall through various game-based learning activities effectively supports students in recognizing, understanding, memorizing, and applying English vocabulary more efficiently. The findings also reveal that the use of Wordwall contributes positively to the development of active, innovative, collaborative, and student-centered English learning at the elementary school level. Overall, this study confirms that Wordwall can be utilized as an alternative digital learning medium to support the improvement of English vocabulary mastery among elementary school students.

Abstract

Thesis by Alvi Tama Rohi, NIM. 2101140131, Elementary School Teacher Education Program, 2026, titled “The Application of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model on the Topic of the Properties of Light to Improve the Learning Outcomes in class V at SD Negeri Balfai Kabupaten Kupang”. The research question is: How does the application of the guided inquiry learning model in the topic of the properties of light improve the learning outcomes in class V at SD Negeri Balfai? This study aims to determine the improvement in the learning outcomes in class V at SD Negeri Balfai Kabupaten Kupang on the topic of the properties of light by using the guided inquiry learning model. The data collection techniques used were observation, testing, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 28 students in Class VA. The research results show that in Cycle I, 9 students (32%) achieved mastery. This was due to the students’ active participation during lessons, their understanding of the material, good group cooperation, and their ability to answer test questions. Meanwhile, 19 students (68%) did not achieve mastery due to a lack of concentration and difficulty in answering test questions. In Cycle II, student learning outcomes improved, with 25 students (89%) achieving mastery because they were more active in listening to and paying attention to the teacher’s explanations, were able to collaborate in groups, and were able to correctly answer test questions. As for the 3 students (11%) who have not yet achieved mastery, they will be provided with remedial and enrichment instruction by the homeroom teacher. Based on the research findings and discussion above, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Guided Inquiry learning model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes on the properties of light in the class V A at SD Negeri Balfai Kabupaten Kupang. This model encourages students to think critically and discover concepts through hands-on experience, thereby deepening their understanding of the material.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning on the topic of living things and their environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model assisted by environmental media on students' learning outcomes. This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of 37 fourth-grade students. The research instrument was a learning achievement test consisting of pretest and posttest questions. Data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed that the average pretest score of the students was 49.19, which increased to 81.65 in the posttest. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test revealed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which was lower than the significance level of 0.05. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model assisted by environmental media had a significant effect on students' learning outcomes. In addition, the questionnaire results showed positive student responses toward the implementation of the learning model, with an average percentage score of 87%, categorized as strongly agree. Based on these findings, the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model assisted by environmental media is effective in improving students' learning outcomes in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning on the topic of living things and their environment.

Abstract

Violence against children is a serious social problem that continues to increase in Indonesia, with profound impacts on children's development. The Indonesian National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA) exists as an independent institution that plays a crucial role in preventing and handling cases of violence against children. This article aims to examine the role of Komnas PA in two main dimensions: preventing violence through education, outreach, public campaigns, and policy advocacy; and handling cases through complaint services, victim assistance, counseling, and legal advocacy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with library research and field observations at the Komnas PA Jakarta Office. Data were collected through field observations, activity documentation, and a review of official documents and child protection regulations. The results indicate that Komnas PA has played a strategic role in building a holistic child protection system. However, several challenges remain, including budget constraints, low public awareness in reporting cases, and suboptimal cross-sectoral coordination. Strengthening institutional capacity, synergy between stakeholders, and the integration of child protection education into the early childhood education curriculum are the main recommendations resulting from this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Pair-Checks learning model on IPAS learning outcomes of Grade V students at SD Negeri 35 Lubuklinggau in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research method used was quantitative with a pre-experimental design of the one group pretest-posttest type. Based on data analysis, the average pretest score of students was 45.39, with most students not yet achieving learning mastery. After applying the Pair-Checks learning model, the average posttest score increased to 83.09, with 21 out of 23 students achieving mastery learning. Hypothesis testing using the Z-test showed Zhitung ≥ Ztabel (6.85 ≥ 1.714), indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Pair-Checks learning model significantly improved the IPAS learning outcomes of Grade V students at SD Negeri 35 Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

Speaking is a fundamental competency in Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) instruction because it reflects learners' ability to communicate effectively in authentic contexts. The growing number of studies on BIPA speaking instruction published between 2020 and 2025 has generated diverse findings, highlighting the need for a comprehensive evidence synthesis. This study aims to identify the characteristics, trends, and effectiveness of instructional strategies for developing speaking skills in BIPA through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The review followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, including identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and study inclusion. Literature was retrieved from Google Scholar, Garuda, Dimensions, DOAJ, and Crossref, covering publications from 2020 to 2025. Of the 126 records identified, 10 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using content analysis and thematic synthesis. The findings reveal a clear shift toward communicative, contextual, and learner-centered instruction. The most prominent strategies include authentic communication through role-play and simulations, Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), digital technology integration, culture- and community-based learning, and oral repetition practice. Their effectiveness is influenced by learner characteristics, language proficiency, authentic interaction, cultural integration, technology use, and teachers' pedagogical competence. This review provides an evidence-based conceptual synthesis that reinforces Communicative Language Teaching, Second Language Acquisition, and Task-Based Language Teaching as theoretical foundations for improving BIPA speaking instruction and offers practical guidance for teachers, curriculum developers, and future researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe athlete discipline in enhancing the quality of volleyball training at SMK Negeri 1 Solok Selatan. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Research informants—comprising the coach, athletes, and the Deputy Principal for Student Affairs—were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, with validity verified through triangulation. The results indicate that athlete discipline is good, evidenced by adherence to training schedules and rules, responsibility in executing training programs, and earnestness in following the coach's instructions. Despite challenges such as tardiness and inconsistent attendance, the coach provides continuous guidance and supervision. Athlete discipline contributes to improved training quality, reflected in training regularity, heightened spirit and teamwork, and the development of the athletes' technical skills.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the application of tabe' culture among students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Takalar, to determine the application of tabe' culture among students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Takalar in the digital era, and to determine the influence of tabe' cultural values and practices on the character formation of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students in Takalar. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method using interviews and observations to collect data. The results of the study show that Madrasah Tsanawiyah students in Takalar still apply and consider tabe' culture as an important culture to be preserved and remain relevant to the times. The application of tabe' culture is classified into two based on its implementation, namely tabe' culture in the form of speech and in the form of actions. The application of tabe' culture is supported by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The application of tabe culture in the digital era is also still relevant. Tabe's culture has a very large influence on the formation of student character because it contains the values of sipakatau (not discriminating against everyone), sipakalabbiri’ (mutual respect), and sipakainga’ (reminding each other).
