Abstract

Dinasti Iksidiyah adalah sebuah dinasti yang memerintah Mesir dan sebagian Syam dari tahun 935 hingga 969 di bawah naungan Kekhalifahan Abbasiyah. Dinasti ini didirikan oleh Muhammad bin Tughj al-Ikhsyid, seorang perwira Turki yang diberi gelar kehormatan al-Ikhsyid oleh khalifah Abbasiyah atas jasanya dalam mempertahankan wilayah Mesir dari ancaman Fatimiyah. Muhammad bin Tughj berhasil memperkokoh kekuasaan melalui stabilitas ekonomi dan militer, serta memperluas wilayah kekuasaannya hingga Syam. Dinasti ini dikenal dengan kontribusinya dalam bidang intelektual, seperti diskusi keagamaan di masjid, pembangunan pasar buku besar (Syuq Al Waraqin), serta kemunculan ilmuwan terkemuka seperti Abu Ishaq al-Mawazi dan al-Mutanabbi. Namun, setelah wafatnya Muhammad bin Tughj, dinasti mulai menunjukkan tanda-tanda kemunduran. Kepemimpinan yang lemah dari penerusnya, terutama setelah meninggalnya Abu'l-Misk Kafur pada tahun 968, membuat dinasti ini rentan terhadap serangan eksternal. Serangan Fatimiyah yang berulang kali akhirnya berhasil menaklukkan Mesir pada tahun 969 di bawah komando Jenderal Jawhar al-Siqilli. Berakhirnya Dinasti Iksidiyah menandai transisi kekuasaan di wilayah tersebut ke tangan Kekhalifahan Fatimiyah. Dinasti ini meninggalkan warisan berupa bangunan megah seperti Istana al-Mukhtar dan taman Bustan al-Kafuri, namun tidak mampu mempertahankan stabilitas politiknya hingga akhir masa pemerintahan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of cultivating deep learning-based tolerance values in elementary school students in the context of digital diversity. The phenomenon of intolerance that is increasingly surfacing among children through digital media is an important background in this study. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research was conducted at SDN 93/III Mukai Pintu, Jambi, which has a high level of diversity. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation and documentation with the class teacher, principal and ten students who were actively involved in diversity-based learning. The results of thematic data analysis revealed three main themes in the process of internalizing tolerance values: (1) structured digital diversity experiences through educational visual media, (2) students' personal reflections through visual narratives such as journals and vlogs, and (3) cross-identity collaboration in digital projects that encourage interaction and empathy between students. The findings show that deep learning approach is able to integrate cognitive, affective, and social aspects in contextualized and meaningful character learning. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of constructivistic-humanistic approaches in character education, and offers a model of learning practices that are relevant for elementary schools in the digital era. Implications include the need for value-based micro-curriculum integration and technology, as well as teacher training in facilitating reflective and collaborative learning. Future research is recommended to test the replication of this model in different geographical contexts and education levels to broaden its applicability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Google Expeditions Virtual Reality (VR) in enhancing the understanding of IPAS concepts among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 60 Palembang. A quantitative method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was used, involving two classes: the experimental class (using VR) and the control class (using textbooks). The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class (81.29) was higher than that of the control class (68.43). An independent t-test confirmed that the difference was statistically significant, proving that Google Expeditions VR is effective in improving conceptual understanding, particularly on the topic of the human respiratory system. VR media offers an immersive and engaging learning experience, making it easier for students to grasp abstract concepts. In contrast, conventional learning without digital media tends to be less engaging and results in lower comprehension. This study supports the use of VR-based media as an effective learning tool and recommends its implementation in school learning processes.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bernalar kritis peserta didik kelas V SDN 2 Pliken melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry Learning berbasis media Educaplay pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari temuan rendahnya keterampilan peserta didik dalam menyaring informasi, menganalisis data, dan menarik kesimpulan secara logis berdasarkan hasil observasi dan asesmen diagnostik. Melalui dua siklus tindakan kelas, pembelajaran dilakukan dengan sintaks inquiry yang dikombinasikan dengan media interaktif Educaplay untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif dan bermakna. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan non test yaitu observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2019. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan bernalar kritis maupun hasil belajar peserta didik dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang cukup signifikan, dari rata-rata 56% pada pertemuan pertama siklus I menjadi 81,2% pada akhir siklus II. Meskipun sempat mengalami penurunan pada awal siklus II (72,4%), hasil belajar tetap berada di atas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal dan menunjukkan tren peningkatan. Keterampilan bernalar kritis peserta didik juga mengalami perkembangan dari 8% kategori tinggi pada awal siklus I menjadi 76% pada akhir siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model Inquiry Learning yang dipadukan dengan media digital interaktif efektif dalam membangun keterampilan berpikir kritis dan mendukung penguatan dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan model serupa dalam pembelajaran IPAS dan mata pelajaran lainnya sebagai strategi inovatif pembelajaran abad ke-21. Kata kunci: keterampilan bernalar kritis, Inquiry Learning, Educaplay, IPAS, pembelajaran abad ke-21.

Abstract

The Sumpah Pemuda (Youth Pledge) of 1928 is a significant moment that highlights the roles of women and youth in Indonesia's struggle for independence. Their involvement stemmed from a shared awareness of the need for unity amidst ethnic and cultural diversity. Youth from organizations like Jong Java united under one nation and language, while women became active in politics, initiating the first Indonesian Women's Congress. In this process, women served as moral leaders, while youth led political consolidation. This involvement contributed to the growth of nationalism and gender equality. This study employs a literature review method to analyze their roles, demonstrating that their collaboration created a strong foundation for national identity and an inclusive independence movement.

Abstract

Siswa yang belajar Bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar memerlukan penguasaan kosakata untuk mengatasi perkembangan digital mereka, terutama dalam hal komunikasi di era globalisasi. Namun, pembelajaran seringkali kurang menarik dan kurang memotivasi, yang mengakibatkan siswa lemah dalam menguasai kosakata bahasa Inggris. Kendala lain terjadi karena beberapa sekolah belum memaksimalkan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris, yang masih dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran pilihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran kuantum berbantuan media YouTube English Singsing pada peningkatan dan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa di SD. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, metode quasi-eksperimen, nonequivalent control group design, kemudian data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan non-tes. Analisis data deskriptif dan inferensial dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS. Dalam analisis data inferensial yang dilakukan dengan uji regresi linear sederhana, ditemukan bahwa pengaruh model pembelajaran kuantum berbantuan media YouTube English Slinging sebesar 62,1%. Selain itu, uji t independent-samples T test menunjukkan nilai signifikasi 0,000 untuk skor N-Gain, yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa di kelas eksperimen telah mencapai peningkatan yang lebih besar daripada siswa di kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran Kuantumberbantuan media YouTube English Singsing terbukti efektif dan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa SD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SDN DOROMUKTI melalui penggunaan media papan pecahan. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pecahan, yang berdampak pada hasil belajar mereka. Peneltitian ini menggunakan metode PTK 2 siklus, yang melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Media papan pecahan diperkenalkan untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep pecahan secara visual dan interaktif. Data yang diperoleh melalui tes pencapaianl belajar siswa, observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan media papan pecahan mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta pemahaman siswa. Nilai hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan tren peningkatan dari pra siklus, siklus I, hingga siklus II. Pada tahap pra siklus, hanya 3 siswa atau sekitar 27,27% yang berhasil mencapai nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), kemudian pada Siklus 1 terdapat 7 peserta didik atau 72,7% mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar, kemudian diperbaiki pada Siklus 2 terdapat 10 peserta didik atau 90,9% meningkat hasil belajarnya. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan media yang efektif bisa berkontribusi signifikan untuk peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Diharapkan, hasil dari penelitian ini mampu dijadikan acuan bagi guru dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the talking stick learning model, which is backed by Wordwall, affects primary school science students' critical thinking abilities.The background of this study is rooted in the low level of students' critical thinking skills in understanding abstract science concepts, as well as the dominance of conventional teaching methods that often do not encourage active student involvement. This model is a form of cooperative learning that emphasizes active student participation by taking turns answering questions using sticks. In this study, the model is combined with wordwall, a digital interactive platform that offers educational games as a trigger in the learning process. This study uses a free-experimental method with a pretest-posttes. The subjects of the study involved 5th grade students of SDN Padasuka 01. The instrument used was a critical thinking test based on descriptive questions that had gone through a validation and reliability process. Pretest and posttest scores differed significantly, according to the results of data analysis using the paired simple t test. Thus, the talking stick learning model supported by wordwall has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing pupils' critical thinking abilities, active involvement, analytical skills, and argumentation.

Abstract

Military-based education has long been implemented in certain institutions as a model that emphasizes discipline, responsibility, and leadership. However, the integration of military approaches into general education curriculum management remains a controversial discourse. This study aims to analyze the curriculum management model of military-based education and to identify the challenges faced in its implementation. This research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through literature analysis and case studies of semi-military educational institutions. The findings indicate that the military approach can enhance discipline and the efficiency of curriculum implementation, but it also generates resistance concerning learning flexibility, students' rights, and pedagogical dynamics. Therefore, the implementation of this model requires adaptive strategies to align with the national education context.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Polya approach in enhancing mathematical problem-solving skills among fourth-grade elementary students, particularly in the topic of plane figures. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method involving all 28 students of grade 4 at SDN 3 Sindangkasih using a saturated sampling technique. The main instrument was a written test consisting of three open-ended questions designed according to Polya's stages: understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and reviewing the solution. The results revealed that 75% of students successfully solved problems with lower complexity, while all students failed on higher-complexity questions requiring analysis and spatial visualization. The main obstacles were found in the initial stage of understanding the problem and in students' weak mastery of basic concepts and spatial visualization. The study recommends systematic implementation of the Polya approach, use of concrete media, and intensive scaffolding to optimize mathematics learning in elementary schools.
