Abstract

Learning outcomes are the results achieved by students after they have participated in learning activities. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of interactive learning media on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. By implementing models, models and the influence of learning media that suit students, learning outcomes will be maximized. The method used in this research is the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) method. The prism method was used to compare research results from several sources for the 2015-2024 period, only covering topics related to learning outcomes and interactive learning media. Therefore, many students are not able to get optimal learning results, this is because there are many influencing factors, one of which is the learning methods and media used by teachers who are not able to provide interest and help students achieve good understanding.   Keywords: interactive learning media, learning outcomes, elementary school

Abstract

The ability to collaborate is key to 21st century competencies because today's education emphasizes 4K. The 4K is are collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication. However, in Indonesia, collaboration skills are often not well improved compared to other competencies. This research is classroom action research (CAR) using the Suharsimi Arikunto model. The process is cyclical, with each cycle consisting of two meetings, each lasting 2 x 35 minutes. Each cycle includes four stages: (1) action planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Data was collected through observation during learning and using a collaborative observation rubric. The research results show that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is effective in improving collaborative skills. Initially students had low collaborative skills, but after two PBL cycles, there was a significant increase with all collaborative indicators being met. These collaborative indicators are positive interdependence, face-to-face interaction, personal responsibility, communication skills, and group work. The PBL model has proven to be effective in improving students' collaborative skills.   Keywords: collaboration skills, elementary education, learning models

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inability of students to think critically due to the use of learning media that is still simple. The solution to this problem is to develop learning media that is more interesting and easy to understand. The use of Animaker learning media aims to improve students' critical thinking and communication skills. The media to be used is Animaker software, an animation video creation platform designed to develop learning materials that are more interesting and easily understood by students. In addition, Animaker can be an alternative for educators in delivering material and facilitating the learning process. The learning media designed raised the theme of Rice Field and Pond Ecosystems for science subjects in grade 5 SDN 2 Sukamenak. The research method used is Educational Design Research (EDR), or educational design research that involves a cycle of analysis, design, development, evaluation, and revision. The results showed that the use of Animaker media helped students to develop themselves, become more active and creative, and more focused in understanding learning materials, so that learning became more effective and fun.

Abstract

This research is based on the need for more interesting media that triggers students to be active and enthusiastic during the learning process. The aim is that students can understand the material easily and not get bored in learning. Besides that, students' low interest in learning is a problem in the learning process and many students do not yet know the learning objectives they must achieve. Teachers admit that they need media that supports the achievements of the 2013 curriculum and helps simplify the learning process. In this research, smart box learning media regarding rights and obligations was developed as an effort to overcome this problem. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an R&D development model adapted and modified from the ADDIE development model. Data collection was carried out by interviews, expert validation questionnaires, tests, and teacher responses. The results of the research show that expert validation of the development of smart box learning media, namely by material experts, obtained an assessment of 91.6%, media experts obtained an assessment of 82.6%, and the teacher's response to aspects of media suitability received an assessment of 90%. This means that the smart box learning media is an effective solution for use in the learning process of haka and obligations in elementary schools.   Keywords: media development, rights and obligations, smart box

Abstract

The presence of art is a crucial element in human life, enabling the development of creativity, sense, and initiative. Art education, from elementary to secondary levels, plays a vital role in shaping students' aesthetic sensitivity, appreciation for beauty, and overall sensitivity. Ki Hajar Dewantara also emphasized the importance of art in forming a well-rounded personality in students. Arts, Culture, and Crafts (SBdP) is a mandatory part of the educational curriculum, with visual arts as one of its branches, teaching skills such as drawing, painting, and creating geometric shapes. The project-based learning (PjBL) model is implemented in this innovation, encouraging students to actively engage in designing, gathering information, and completing creative projects. PjBL, which is student-centered, allows them to work autonomously in constructing their learning, as well as developing problem-solving skills, teamwork, and creativity. This study aims to examine the impact of implementing the PjBL model on students' creativity in SBdP learning. This research is a descriptive qualitative study, employing a sampling method with a total of 19 students. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, written tests, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the innovation in SBdP learning can integrate various subject contents, and the implementation of the PjBL model has been proven to enhance students' creativity. Keywords: batik ornaments, creativity, PjBL

Abstract

This research compares the education systems in Indonesia and Malaysia using a literature review study method. The main objective of this research is to identify differences in curriculum structure, teaching methods, educational policies, student outcomes, challenges and opportunities, as well as the implementation of educational policies during the COVID-19 pandemic in the two countries. The research results show that Indonesia applies the 2013 Curriculum (K-13) which emphasizes developing student competencies in aspects of knowledge, skills and attitudes, while Malaysia uses the National Curriculum which focuses on mastery of Malay, English, science, mathematics and moral education. and citizenship. Teaching methods in Indonesia vary and technology is starting to be implemented in urban schools, while Malaysia is more advanced in the integration of educational technology and 21st Century Learning approaches. Education policy in Indonesia includes a 12-year compulsory education program and School Operational Assistance (BOS), while Malaysia implements 11 year compulsory education program and Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025. Student achievements in national exams and international tests such as PISA show that both countries still need to improve the quality of their education. The main challenge in Indonesia is the gap in education quality between urban and rural areas and limited facilities, while Malaysia faces the challenge of the gap between urban and rural schools as well as differences in quality between national schools and types of nationality. The COVID-19 pandemic forced both countries to adopt distance learning, with various obstacles and solutions being implemented. In conclusion, although there are many challenges, there are also great opportunities to improve the quality of education in Indonesia and Malaysia through appropriate policies, innovation in teaching methods, and the use of technology.   Keywords: comparison of education systems, indonesian education system, malaysian education system
