Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to evaluate the strategic management of SMK Negeri 1 Purwojati in implementing the free school program. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews and observations with school management, teachers, and students. The results show that SMK Negeri 1 Purwojati has effectively implemented strategic management in facing the free school program. The school has employed various strategies, including planning, pattern, position, perspective, and tactics, to achieve the program's objectives. The findings also indicate that the school has successfully increased access to education for underprivileged communities and improved the quality of educational services. This study provides several recommendations to enhance the quality of education and access to education for underprivileged communities.

This study systematically examines gaps and weaknesses in educational policy implementation in Indonesia during 2015-2024 through a systematic literature review approach. The complexity of Indonesia's educational system, encompassing geographical, socioeconomic, and cultural diversity, creates significant challenges in implementing strategic policies such as Curriculum 2013, PPDB zoning policy, Smart Indonesia Card program, and educational digitalization. The research methodology employs systematic analysis of ten selected empirical studies from various national and international academic databases with inclusion criteria of publications from 2015-2024. Research findings identify five primary dimensions of implementation weaknesses: (1) structural and infrastructure deficiencies with 80% of schools lacking adequate laboratory facilities; (2) inadequate human resource capacity where 65% of teachers do not understand new learning methodologies; (3) weak targeting and monitoring systems with 40% of assistance missing intended targets; (4) ineffective multi-level governance coordination; and (5) minimal policy adaptation to local contexts. Findings indicate that implementation weaknesses are systemic and multidimensional, requiring fundamental transformation in implementation approaches through infrastructure capacity strengthening, continuous professional development, data-based monitoring systems, integrated coordination, and adaptive decentralization to ensure achievement of Sustainable Development Goals in education and enhance national competitiveness.

This article discusses a natural phenomenon, namely a lunar eclipse which is integrated with verses of the Qur'an. A lunar eclipse is a natural phenomenon where the moon is between the moon's shadow because the position is parallel to the moon, earth, and sun. When an eclipse occurs, Islam teaches us to increase worship such as sunnah eclipse prayers, increase dhikr, istighfar and prayer. From an Islamic perspective, a lunar eclipse is one of the signs of the greatness of Allah SWT. By understanding the lunar eclipse, we can learn and take wisdom from the phenomenon of a lunar eclipse. A lunar eclipse is also a moment to reflect on sins, increase istighfar, and get closer to Allah SWT with eclipse prayers (khusuf prayers). There are so many lessons and wisdom that we can take from studying the signs of the greatness of Allah SWT such as this lunar eclipse phenomenon by studying it through the Qur'an and integrating it with scientific evidence will increase our faith and piety to the creator of this universe. Allah SWT provides guidance and guidance through the verses of the Qur'an which have no doubt in them. By understanding the phenomenon of this lunar eclipse, we as Muslims are increasingly aware of the importance of studying and understanding science about the universe. This provides an opportunity for Muslims to improve their understanding and skills in the fields of astronomy, science and technology, and can apply them in everyday life with full gratitude and devotion to Allah SWT.

This research is motivated by the limited learning media, students have difficulty in understanding the material, students cannot solve the questions given, fractions are considered difficult by students, and the boring learning atmosphere makes students more passive. This study aims to develop flashcard learning media, and determine the feasibility of flashcard media. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method using the ADDIE model which consists of stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of this HOTS-based flashcard media development research are 1) HOTS-based flashcard media using the ADDIE model. The analysis stage produces flashcard media for fractions, the design stage produces flashcard designs, the development stage validates flashcard media, the implementation stage carries out limited trials and extensive trials, the evaluation stage carries out evaluation of flashcard media development; 2) The feasibility of flashcard media is carried out by media experts and material experts. The assessment by media experts showed an average score of 75%, while the assessment by material experts got an average score of 78.6% which is classified as valid. Practicality by student responses showed an average result of 100%, which is classified as very practical, then the effectiveness assessment from the results of extensive trials showed an average N-gain of 0.72 which is classified as a high increase. Based on this study, it can be concluded that flashcard media is suitable for use in learning.

This development research aims to produce, animation learning media based on a contextual approach to the theme of events in the occultation that is valid and practical for grade V elementary school students. The method used in this research is the research and development method. The subjects in this research were grade V elementary school students, totaling 30 people. The animation learning media based on a contextual approach to the theme of events in the occultation that was developed using the ADDIE model, namely (1) analysis (analysis stage), (2) design (design stage), (3) development (development stage), (4) implementation (implementation stage), (5) evaluation (evaluation stage). Data collection was carried out using a validation questionnaire sheet. This research produced animation learning media based on a contextual approach to the theme of events in the occultation that was valid. Data analysis techniques are carried out with validity analysis using expert validation questionnaires, practicality analysis using student response questionnaires. The result of the sheets, validation questionnaires with the basis of data analysis, the average valid value is 94%. The result of the student questionnaires with an average practicality value percentage 93%.

This study aims to identify the factors causing student indiscipline and the role of teachers in addressing it during the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning process in the fourth grade at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) Donggala. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the main factors contributing to student indiscipline are lack of learning motivation, monotonous teaching methods, insufficient teacher firmness, and negative peer influence. To address these issues, the teacher plays a crucial role as a classroom manager. The teacher implements several strategies, such as providing positive feedback in the form of recognition or rewards for well-behaved students, applying varied and engaging teaching methods, giving warnings or consequences to students who break rules.

This research aims to determine the effect of using PhET Simulation media on learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 69 Palembang. This research uses an experimental method with a True Experimental design "posttest - Only Control Group" with a sample of 47 people. The sampling method in this research was taken using a total sampling technique where each member of the population was used as a sample. The data collection technique in this research uses tests, while the data analysis technique uses normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. Based on the data from the research that has been carried out, it can be proven from the results of the posttest in the experimental class which was given treatment using PhET Simulation media, it was found that the significant value was 0.005 which was smaller than alpha (α) = 0.05 with a calculated t value > t table or 2,935 > 2,014. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of using PhET Simulation media on learning outcomes in mathematics subjects after being given treatment in the experimental class using PhET Simulation media and the control class using conventional learning. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of PHET simulation media on learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at State Elementary School 69 Palembang.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik Panulung sebagai bentuk akuntansi sosial berbasis budaya lokal di Desa Sebewe, Kecamatan Moyo Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode etnografi, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara tematik melalui proses reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik Panulung berupa kontribusi non-moneter yang dicatat secara tradisional mampu mencerminkan prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas sosial dalam komunitas. Sistem pencatatan ini memperkuat kepercayaan dan solidaritas antarwarga serta berfungsi sebagai alat kontrol sosial berbasis nilai budaya.

ResultsThe development of information technology has brought significant changes in the world of education, including in learning methods and media. One of the popular interactive learning media is Quizizz. This article aims to analyze students' perceptions of the use of Quizizz media in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to students. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of the use of Quizizz because this media was considered fun, interactive, and helped to understand the material of Aqidah Akhlak more effectively. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Picker Wheel learning media to improve students' reading literacy in Indonesian language subjects of grade IV of state elementary school 90 Palembang. This study is an experimental study in the form of Quasi Experimental Design, with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was all grade IV of state elementary school 90 Palembang. The determination of the sample used a purposive sampling technique, so that there were 2 classes, namely IV.C as an experimental class consisting of 28 students and IV.B as a control class consisting of 28 students. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this study were observation and interview techniques, tests, and documentation. For the test technique, multiple choice questions were given to determine the reading literacy of students at the beginning and after being given treatment. And finally, the documentation technique was used to obtain photos of activities during the research process. The data analysis technique in this study used parametric statistical tests in the form of normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Independent Sample T-Tests. The results of the normality test, obtained pretest and posttest value data were normally distributed. Furthermore, through hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-Test test, it was obtained t_count = 5.787 and t_table = 2.004 and a significant value of 2 tailed of 0.000. Thus, the results of the T test show that 5.787> 2.004 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, then H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. Thus, there is an influence of the Picker Wheel learning media to improve students' reading literacy in the Indonesian Language subject of grade IV of SD Negeri 90 Palembang.
