Abstract

This research analyses the gerontology curriculum at Aisyiyah Senior School in Condong Catur. Through a qualitative approach, this study aims to understand how the gerontology curriculum is designed and implemented in the context of senior education. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teaching staff, and curriculum document studies. The research results indicate that the gerontology curriculum at this school has been designed considering the unique needs of senior learners, focusing on improving their quality of life through continuing education. These findings provide important insights into how senior education can be tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of older generations. The results show that the gerontology curriculum at Aisyiyah Senior School incorporates various essential aspects of senior life, including physical and mental health, social relationships, and participation in meaningful activities. This curriculum is designed to promote healthy and active ageing and enhance senior learners' quality of life. In addition, this school shows a solid commitment to a lifelong learning approach by providing opportunities for seniors to continue learning and growing. In conclusion, this study indicates that the gerontology curriculum at Aisyiyah Senior School is an effective model for senior education. These findings can provide valuable guidance for other institutions wishing to develop or improve their educational programs for older generations.

Abstract

The quality of school academic services is an effort provided by educational institutions in the form of responsive, friendly and accurate service, providing individual attention, providing adequate facilities and administration to meet the expectations and satisfaction of users of educational services in the field of learning. The aim of this research is to describe the influence of transformational leadership on the quality of academic services at A-accredited private MTs in Pamijahan Bogor District. The number of samples taken was 102 teachers, using a probability sampling method with a simple random sampling technique. The research method used is quantitative research with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that transformational leadership has a positive effect on the quality of academic services. This shows that the stronger the transformational leadership, the higher the quality of academic services available at the school. Therefore, to improve the quality of academic services, we hope to pay more attention to the transformational leadership of school principals in order to improve the quality of academic services.

Abstract

When discussing the results of educational provision, of course you will question the quality of educational provision, and to measure the quality of education you can look at the graduates or output. And this can be realized if it is done with proper management of the quality of education, and that is the domain of education quality management studies. So a comprehensive understanding of education quality management is needed so that it can be implemented in educational institutions appropriately and can run effectively and efficiently. In this study the author uses qualitative research with a library research approach and is descriptive in nature, where the author wants to reveal a deeper theoretical review of education quality management." Abstract

Public relations management is integral to the success of an institution in building and maintaining its public image. Especially in the context of education, public relations management plays an important role in attracting public interest, building trust, and managing positive perceptions of institutions. This study aims to analyze the public relations management practices carried out by Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Amiriyah Blokagung and its impact on the image of the institution. This study used a qualitative approach with interview and observation data collection methods as well as docuentation. The result of this study is that effective public relations management in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Amiriyah Blokagung has helped improve the image of the institution. Through active communication, transparency, and the use of social media, this institution is able to build good relationships with its stakeholders and strengthen its position in the eyes of the public. This research provides insight into the importance of public relations management in the educational context and can be a reference for other educational institutions in improving their image through effective practices in public relations management.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how salaf pesantren that are thick with traditional nuances can manage educational technology in their environment. This qualitative research with a case study approach involves in-depth observation and interviews with kyai, pesantren administrators, teachers, and students as an important part of collecting data which is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Research conducted at the Al Fadhlu salaf Islamic boarding school, Brangsong District, Kendal Regency, shows that in managing the use of technology, pesantren packages it into online and offline learning forms. Online technology is implemented through the use of social media such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram as da'wah media, while offline technology management relies on simple technology such as the use of PowerPoint in learning and laptops as a means of correspondence. In the aspect of curriculum management, the findings of this study show that pesantren have developed effective strategies for technology implementation, such as providing information technology subjects to students. This finding rejects the assumption that salaf pesantren only rely on traditional learning, on the contrary, proving that even though it seems traditional, salaf pesantren still adopts and teaches technology to its students. This research makes a significant contribution by showing that the use of technology can update education in salaf Islamic boarding schools, combining traditional values with technological advances to improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi program Tahfidz Ummi di SD Ummu Aiman Malang pada tahun 2023/2024 menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan lapangan (field research). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuisioner, dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik model interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program Tahfidz Ummi di SD Ummu Aiman berjalan sangat baik. Aspek konteks dinilai sangat baik mencakup pemahaman tujuan, kebutuhan, dan kondisi lingkungan. Aspek input, termasuk kompetensi guru dan materi pembelajaran, juga dinilai sangat baik. Proses pelaksanaan program, yang mencakup strategi pembelajaran dan interaksi antara guru dan siswa, dinilai baik. Aspek produk menunjukkan lebih dari 90% pencapaian hafalan Al-Qur'an siswa. Secara keseluruhan, evaluasi menggunakan model CIPP menunjukkan bahwa program Tahfidz Ummi di SD Ummu Aiman sangat berhasil mencapai target dan memberikan hasil positif bagi siswa.

Abstract

Effective leadership of school principals is considered a crucial factor in creating a supportive learning environment. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the principal's leadership in enhancing teachers' professional skills at SMK Miftahul Ulum Tumpeng Wonosari, Bondowoso. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher observed the effectiveness of the principal's leadership by taking notes and recordings. Additionally, the researcher conducted interviews with the principal, teachers, and administrative staff at SMK Miftahul Ulum. Once the data was collected, the researcher performed data reduction, classification, validation, and coding based on the data types, followed by interpretation. The results showed that there were three aspects observed in the principal's leadership at SMK Miftahul Ulum, namely strategies to improve teachers' professional competence, challenges faced in this process, and the impact of the principal's leadership on enhancing teachers' professional competence. The strategies to enhance teachers' competence include training programs, workshops, performance assessments, and evaluations. Meanwhile, the challenges faced include global competition and changes in the educational curriculum. The positive impact of the principal's leadership is evident in the improvement of teachers' teaching quality, the creation of a conducive work environment, and the enhancement of students' academic achievements. Thus, this study concludes that the principal's leadership at SMK Miftahul Ulum Tumpeng has proven effective in improving teachers' professional competence. These findings provide practical implications for other educational institutions in efforts to improve education quality by focusing on teacher competence development. The suggested recommendations include increasing policy support, allocating adequate resources, and enhancing the frequency and quality of professional development programs.

Abstract

Microlearning-based learning content is a form of innovation that needs to be carried out to answer current challenges. Microlearning is a method of creating learning content into small, focused parts with the help of information technology. The content is usually created in the form of explanatory videos, motion graphics and infographics. This research aims to develop SIPEJAR content based on microlearning for Information Institution Management courses based on social inclusion for library science students. The research method applied in this study uses an applied research approach with the aim of overcoming practical problems or producing new product innovations that can be implemented directly. The findings from this applied research have practical application, and one of the approaches is the research and development method. This approach is used to produce concrete solutions that can provide direct benefits for practitioners, and has the potential to present innovative products as a result of the exploration and development carried out. Research results. Evaluation results by experts show that the overall validity of the media reached a score of 84 with an average value of 3.84 from a maximum score of 88. With a percentage of 95.45%, this media is categorized as very high and is considered suitable as an effective learning tool. Material validation by validators also gave positive results, with a total score of 52, an average of 3.55, and a percentage of 86.67%, indicating the validity of the material elements in the learning product. Furthermore, the design validation results showed an overall score of 78, an average of 3.91, and a percentage 97.50% (very valid), indicating that the product design is considered very valid and suitable for use in the context of library management learning. Product trials on students also produced positive numbers, with a total of 86.8, an average of 3.48, and a percentage of 86.84%, indicating that the product is suitable for use in the learning process, making a positive contribution to students' understanding of library management. Overall, this research confirms that the evaluated learning products are of high quality and can be relied upon as effective learning tools in the context of library management.

Abstract

Kegagalan mahasiswa dalam mengelola waktu mengakibatkan beragam dampak negatif, seperti prokrastinasi akademik, burnout syndrome, serta minimnya study-life balance dan prestasi belajar. Artikel ini disusun menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, jenis penelitian pustaka dan analisis tafsir tarbawi yang berintikan pada analisis lughawi (bahasa), tahlili (tafsir) dan tarbawi (kependidikan). Ada empat temuan artikel yang didasarkan pada empat dampak negatif problem manajemen waktu di kalangan mahasiswa. Pertama, prokrastinasi akademik bisa disebabkan oleh rasa malas (kasl) dan lalai (sahw). Formulasi solusi untuk meminimalisasi prokrastinasi akademik adalah aktualisasi nilai-nilai dalam ayat-ayat yang memuat terma waqt dan ajal, yang meliputi: Penjadwalan, Penyegeraan, Fleksibilitas dan Dedikasi. Kedua, burnout syndrome bisa disebabkan oleh kelelahan fisik (nashb) dan psikis (dhiq). Formulasi solusi untuk meminimalisasi burnout syndrome adalah aktualisasi nilai-nilai dalam ayat-ayat yang memuat terma yaum, syahr dan sanah, yang meliputi: Variasi kegiatan harian, Produktif di masa perkuliahan dan healing di masa liburan dan Motivasi lulus kuliah tepat waktu. Ketiga, study-life balance mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh mindset adil (‘adl) dan moderat (tawassuth). Formulasi solusi untuk optimalisasi study-life balance mahasiswa adalah aktualisasi nilai-nilai dalam ayat-ayat yang memuat terma nahar dan lail, yang meliputi: Keseimbangan aktivitas siang dan malam, Keseimbangan aktivitas dan istirahat serta Keseimbangan perkuliahan dan ibadah. Keempat, prestasi belajar mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh mentalitas juara (sabq) dan sukses (falah). Formulasi solusi untuk optimalisasi prestasi belajar mahasiswa adalah aktualisasi nilai-nilai dalam ayat-ayat yang memuat terma ‘ashr dan ghudwah-ghadah, yang meliputi: Fungsionalisasi waktu, Pembiasaan bangun pagi dan Disiplin evaluasi diri. University students’ failure to manage their time results in various negative impacts, such as academic procrastination, burnout syndrome, and lack of study-life balance and learning achievement. This article was prepared using a qualitative approach, a type of library research and analysis of Qur’anic educational interpretation (tafsir tarbawi) which has as its core an analysis of lughawi (language), tahlili (interpretation) and tarbawi (education). There are four article findings based on four negative impacts of time management problems among university students. First, academic procrastination can be caused by a laziness (kasl) which results in negligent attitude (sahw). The formulation of a solution to minimize academic procrastination is the actualization of values ​​in verses containing the terms waqt and ajal, which include: Time scheduling, Act immediately, Flexibility and Dedication. Second, burnout syndrome can be caused by physical (nasb) and psychological (diq) fatigue. The formulation of a solution to minimize burnout syndrome is the actualization of values ​​in verses containing the terms yaum, shahr and sanah, which include: Variation of daily activities, Productivity during study time and healing during holidays, and Motivation to graduate from university on time. Third, students’ study-life balance is influenced by a fair ('adl) and moderate (tawassut) mindset. The formulation of a solution for optimizing students' study-life balance is the actualization of the values ​​in the verses which contain the terms nahr and lail, which include: Balance of day and night activities, Balance of activities and rest, and Balance of study and worship. Fourth, student learning achievement is influenced by the mentality of winning (sabq) and success (falah). The formulation of a solution for optimizing student learning achievement is the actualization of values ​​in verses that contain the terms 'ash and ghudwah-ghadah, which include: Functionalization of time, the Habit of getting up early and the Discipline of self-evaluation.

Abstract

This research examines the intellectual capital (IC) at STAI Attanwir Bojonegoro, an Islamic higher education institution based on pesantren principles. The objective is to analyze the institution's human capital, structural capital, and relational capital, along with the challenges faced in managing IC in the digital era. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, gathering data through in-depth interviews and documentary studies. The findings reveal that STAI Attanwir possesses strong human capital in terms of academic competence and Islamic knowledge among teaching staff and educational personnel. Structural capital is evident in the physical infrastructure and integrated information systems such as SIM STAI Attanwir, while relational capital is demonstrated through partnerships with community organizations, government entities, and alumni. Key challenges identified include adapting to technological advancements and managing social and political issues like radicalism. The research concludes by emphasizing the critical role of IC management as a strategy to enhance educational quality and institutional competitiveness in an increasingly competitive future.
