Abstract

This research uses the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The e-booklet product developed has special characteristics because it integrates a project-based learning approach with ESD values, thereby encouraging students to think critically and creatively and to be aware of environmental and sustainability issues. The analysis stage includes needs analysis through surveys and interviews, curriculum analysis, and student characteristics analysis. Design stage with product prototyping. Three experts (1 material expert, 1 media expert, and 1 linguist) carry out the development stage by validating the product. The results of expert validation showed high eligibility rates: 94.5% for linguists, 90% for material experts, and 88% for design experts. Meanwhile, the results of the practicality test received scores of 91% from lecturers and 94.75% from students, both of which are in the very practical category. Thus, this project's ESD e-booklet can serve as a context-based learning resource that supports the implementation of sustainable development-oriented education (ESD) in higher education.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe nursing students’ interest in learning English through e-modules in an English for Nurses course. A descriptive quantitative design was employed involving 66 fourth-semester students of the Bachelor of Nursing Study Program at Institut Teknologi dan Kesehatan Bali. The participants were selected through total sampling because all students enrolled in the course were involved in the study. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire consisting of 20 statements covering four indicators of learning interest: enjoyment, involvement, interest, and attention. The responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics and converted into percentage scores. The findings showed that students’ learning interest in using e-modules was categorized as very high. The attention indicator obtained the highest score at 86.4%, followed by enjoyment and interest, each at 81.4%, while involvement reached 80.6%. The average percentage across the four indicators was 82.45%, indicating that students responded positively to the use of e-modules in English learning. These findings suggest that e-modules are suitable learning media for supporting nursing students’ interest in English for Nurses, particularly because they provide flexible access, structured materials, and opportunities for independent learning.

Abstract

This study explores how non-formal education students may manage academic stress in the digital era through a positive psychology perspective. A systematic scoping review was conducted using 13 publications retrieved from Google Scholar, ERIC, PubMed, ProQuest, and JSTOR. The publications were released between 2010 and 2025 and analysed thematically. The selected studies were analyzed thematically. Three main themes emerged: sources of academic stress, positive psychology-based coping resources, and the use of digital tools to support student well-being. The reviewed literature indicates that students may experience stress related to academic workload, professional-identity uncertainty, technostress, information overload, and social comparison. Practices such as gratitude, mindfulness, character-strength development, and supportive relationships may help strengthen resilience and well-being. Digital tools can widen access to these practices. However, institutions should provide support, prioritise privacy, and consider students' access to technology when using these tools.

Abstract

Indonesia, rich in culture, has great potential to implement the Merdeka curriculum integrated with culture, especially in mathematics learning. This research was conducted because field observations show that students' ability to understand culturally integrated problem-solving is not yet optimal. The aim of the study is to produce an instructional design called Rumah Bolon (HYBOL). The research approach employed is a Design Research validation study. The subjects of the study were 15 mathematics education students from Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah. The research instruments included HYBOL, questionnaires, and tests. The study showed that (1) the developed HYBOL is very valid, with a percentage of 93%; (2) HYBOL is very practical, with a student response score reaching 90.4%; and (3) HYBOL is effective in improving student learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 54.5 to 86.8 and an N-Gain score of 0.72 (high category). The highest indicator achievement is the analysis of geometric transformations through Batak Gorga patterns (95.6%). It can be concluded that integrating Rumah Bolon architecture within the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) framework can bridge the understanding of formal mathematical concepts through meaningful cultural contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and motivation on the work productivity of administrative staff at public senior high schools in Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province. The study was motivated by the important role of administrative staff in supporting school services and management. However, their contribution often receives less attention compared to that of the teaching staff. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 114 administrative staff from 14 public senior high schools in Karimun Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that competence and motivation have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Competence helps staff complete tasks more effectively, while motivation increases work engagement and responsibility. These findings highlight the importance of continuous training programs and managerial support in improving the quality of human resources within the school environment.

Abstract

This study addresses the continued reliance on manual academic supervision, with paper-based instruments still widely used despite rapid educational digitalisation and the integration of teacher performance assessment through the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM). This condition creates challenges for school principals in understanding the supervision priorities and indicators aligned with PMM-based education report cards, leading to inconsistencies in academic oversight and hindering the effective implementation of educational strategies. This research aims to develop the SUKA MAJU application using Google Workspace for Education to support more effective and integrated academic supervision. The study employs a research-and-development approach based on the ADDIE model, comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through expert validation, practicality testing, and effectiveness evaluation involving school principals. The results indicate high validity (90%), strong practicality (82%), and high effectiveness (84%). These findings demonstrate that the SUKA MAJU application effectively enhances the implementation of academic supervision in schools, leading to improved educational outcomes and better support for teachers' professional development.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of principals’ transformational leadership and teachers’ achievement motivation on teacher professionalism in public senior high schools in Dharmasraya Regency. A quantitative survey design was employed. The sample consisted of 110 teachers selected through stratified proportional random sampling based on educational level and length of service. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the individual and combined contributions of the independent variables to teacher professionalism. The results showed that principals’ transformational leadership accounted for 8.5% of teacher professionalism, while achievement motivation accounted for 37.7%. Together, principals’ transformational leadership and achievement motivation explained 38.1% of the variance in teacher professionalism. These findings indicate that both variables significantly contribute to teacher professionalism, although achievement motivation has a stronger contribution than transformational leadership. The study highlights the importance of strengthening school leadership practices and encouraging teachers’ achievement motivation to support professional development.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Boys’ Brigade (BB) program as a character and leadership development model at Lentera Harapan Curug Junior High School using the CIPPO framework (Context, Input, Process, Product, and Outcome). A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving school leaders, instructors, and stakeholders. The findings show that the program aligns well with the school’s character education goals. Human resources and curriculum support are adequate, though facilities remain limited, which may hinder the program’s full potential and its ability to provide comprehensive educational experiences. The implementation emphasizes experiential learning but lacks formal instructional planning and structured assessment. The program has contributed positively to students’ discipline, spirituality, and leadership, while also strengthening school culture. These findings highlight the importance of systematic evaluation and administrative support in enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of character education programs.
