Abstract

The objectives of this research include (1) determining the validity of worksheets based on the WE-ARe learning model for class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Ternate City and (2) determining the effectiveness of worksheets based on the WE-ARe learning model in facilitating increased cognitive learning outcomes for class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Ternate City. This research is development research with a research design adopting the Thiagarajan 4-D development model. The 4-D development model consists of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The results of the research show (1) the validity of worksheets based on the WE-ARe learning model was obtained on average in the very valid category; (2) LKS based on the WE-ARe learning model effectively facilitate the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes for class XI students at SMAN 6 Ternate City. The t test shows a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.003 0.05, so Hi is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion of the research is that the use of student worksheets (LKS) based on learning models (WE-ARe) warm-up, exploration, argumentation, resumes can facilitate increased cognitive learning outcomes for class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Ternate City.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses komunikasi dapat menstimulasi pengembangan keterampilan interpersonal siswa. Keterampilan komunikasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk membangun kegiatan ilmiah, khususnya dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian quasy eksperiment (eksperimen semu), dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Watampone Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan pada kelas XI IPA. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 2 Watampone yang berjumlah 80 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 28 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran WE-ARe ( pemanasan, eksplorasi, argumentasi, resume) terhadap keterampilan komunikasi . Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model WE-ARe memberikan kontribusi positif pada peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Watampone Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kompetensi peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar di era digital dan kurikulum merdeka belajar.

Abstract

Student Worksheet (LKPD) Based on High order thinking skills (HOTS) with the aim of producing LKPD that is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is Research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which has five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This student worksheet based on high-level thinking skills aims to foster the creative spirit of students and improve higher-order thinking skills in accordance with the competence of applying HOTS in learning activities. This study aims to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed worksheets. The population of this study amounted to 22 students and 2 biology teachers as respondents. Data on validity and practicality were obtained using the questionnaire response method. The research data were analyzed using an assessment rubric. The results of the analysis of the validity and practicality of LKPD with a total average of 80% for the teacher's response is 92% and for the student response is 85.76%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the development of LKPD is in the very practical category.

Abstract

Tilapia is one of the freshwater fish that is widely cultivated because of its economic value and also one of the fishery commodities that is quite popular and very popular with the public because it is a superior commodity of freshwater fish. Tilapia has a comparative advantage because of its distinctive and savory meat flavor with a fairly high omega and nutritional content, fast growth. The obstacles that are often experienced by farmers are bacteria, viruses, and fungi. One of them is MAS (Motil aeromonas septicemia) disease caused by Aeromonas hydrophilla bacteria. The way of overcoming which is often done by cultivators is by means of treatment with chemicals which if given on a larger scale will be at high risk. This research aims to provide an alternative in treating fish infected with Aeromonas hydrophilla bacteria with herbal ingredients, one of which is lime leaf extract.  In this study, the sample of Tilapia used was 80 fish measuring 6-8 cm while the dose of bacteria used was 0.1ml / tail, the fish was injected in the intramuscular part of the fish. Abstract

One of the concepts of saving the environment is using waste as a basic material for making a product. An example of waste that can be used as raw material is tofu dregs which have chemical properties that are dominated by protein so that they can be processed into products that function as a source of protein. Another example is bran and sago dregs which still contain macro nutrients that are useful as nutritional intake for livestock. The nutritional content contained in tofu dregs, sago and bran has the potential to be developed as animal feed, especially poultry feed. The results of the research conducted revealed that fermented sago waste can be used as feed for poultry. stated that there was an increase in body weight of broiler chickens that were fed fermented tofu dregs with probiotic inoculum in the ration. The research results show that the nutritional content of tofu dregs is: 8.66% protein; fat 3.79%; 51.63% water and 1.21% ash so it has great potential to be processed into animal feed. The method used in this research is quantitative with an experimental approach which aims to determine the process of making animal feed from organic waste, analyze the quality of the feed, and analyze the effect of feeding on the increase in body weight of broiler chickens. Research results: From the results of the research, there is a nutritional content, namely calcium 15.10%, carbohydrates 6.76% and protein 15.3%. The increase in body weight in boiler chickens is that from the first week the average weight is 21-29 grams after being fed for 8 weeks, there is an increase in weight. namely 1.87gr. Keywords: Sago Waste, Tofu Waste, Animal Feed.

Abstract

Arbuscular mycorrhizae (MA) are a group of soil fungi that are widespread in terrestrial ecosystems and play an important role in influencing plant growth and ecosystem processes. Mycorrhizae are plants that colonize the cortex tissue of plant roots, occurring from a symbiotic association between fungi and plants that occurs during the active growth and development of plants, generally found in association with the roots of plants such as Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum. The root coloring carried out in this observation used four types of dye, namely methylene blue, blue food dye (koepoe-koepoe), blue textile dye (wantex) and blue printer ink. This observation aims to determine the effect of the type of dye on the visibility of arbuscular mycorrhiza on the roots of the Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum plant. Of the four dyes used, textile dyes are more effective in coloring arbuscular mycorrhiza roots, because the color can bind to the mycorrhiza, so that the mycorrhiza can be easily distinguished. Abstract

The Japanese cucumber plant is a type of fruit vegetable that is widely consumed by Indonesian people. Japanese cucumber is beneficial for the body as an anti-inflammatory, cooling agent, and even as an anti-cancer. Japanese cucumber planting is done using the hydroponic method. Hydroponics is a method of growing without soil. One system that is effective and efficient in terms of energy and time is the drip system. Drip system hydroponic planting is a system that requires a substrate or planting medium. In this research, several planting media were used, namely soil, fern roots, husk charcoal, and a combination of husk charcoal and fern roots. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of planting media on the Brix and organoleptic tests of Japanese cucumber fruit. The research method used was experimental with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The planting media treatments used were Control = soil, P1 = fern roots, P2 = husk charcoal, P3 = husk charcoal: fern roots. Research and observations were carried out for approximately 60 days. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed using the One-Way Anova test. The results showed that the planting medium had no effect on Brix. In the best average Brix parameter obtained P3 (5.100) and in the organoleptic test each criterion shows the best different treatment results, in the color criterion the best treatment is shown by P3 (4.13), the texture criterion is shown by P2 (3.40), and the criteria taste indicated by control (3.47).  Keywords: Brix, Drip, Hydroponics, Japanese Cucumber, Substrate

Abstract

Tempeh is made from fermented soybeans with various types of Rhizopus. The mold used in the making process are known as “ragi”. Ragi plays a key role in converting soybean substrate into healthful nutrition. The tempeh’s ragi may contain more than one species of Rhizopus. This study aims to know a variation of different types of Rhizopus that contributed to the tempeh in Bekasi. The samples are from two different locations are tempeh SMC and JTS. The Methods used in direct planting of PDA media. Macroscopic observations by identifying color, texture and shape of colonies, microscopic slide culture to observe the shape of sporangium, the sporangiophore stalk of columela and sporangiospores. The data is presented in the shape of tables, pictures, and descriptive analysis. Based on the results, found four isolates of the SMC and the two isolate from the JTS. Macroscopic and microscopic in successive ways isolate from tempeh SMC1, SMC2, SMC3, SMC4 has a character similar to R. oryzae, R. stolonifer, R. microsporus and R. oligosporus. As to isolate tempeh JTS1 and JTS2 found similar to R. microsporus and R. oryzae. So, in one tempeh of different locations in the Bekasi, it contains many variations of the Rhizopus. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic countries in the world with 13 thousand islands, its strategic location and long coastline make Indonesia a haven for many marine life. It causes the richness of flora and fauna in it is high and diverse. The diversity of marine animals includes the starfish (Asteroidea). The aim of study was to inventory several species of starfish (Asteroidea) that was found in the waters of located in Suli Village, Central Maluku Regency. The sampling method used in this study was random sampling, in which the sample was taken randomly by exploring the waters of Sopapei. Based on the results of study, it was obtained three species starfish, namely Protoreaster nodosus, Linckia laevigata, and Archaster typicus. Keywords Asteriodea, Star Fish, Intertidal Zone

Abstract

The learning paradigm of the 21st century demands that educators have the ability to use technology, information, and communication. Teachers' understanding of digital technology in classrooms is becoming increasingly important in education. The quality of education is influenced by the competence of the teacher. Teachers who adapt to technological developments provide more relevant and effective learning. Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) is a set of understandings about how to implement change in learning using technology as its support. It happens through the interaction of pedagogical and technological approaches. This research is descriptive quantitative aimed at providing an overview of knowledge Technological Pedagogical Knowledge Teacher of Biology at the Sekolah Penggerak in Makassar. The sample used was 13 biology teachers at the Sekolah Penggerak in Makassar. Data is collected through self-assessment of the respondents. The results of the study showed that the average percentage of Technological Knowledge (TK) aspects of 88.5% in the category was very good. The average percentage of Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) aspects of 87.5% in the category was very good. The average percentage of Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) aspects of 83.3% in the category was very good. In general, the Knowledge of Technological Pedagogical Knowledge Teacher of Biology at the Sekolah Penggerak in Makassar is in the very good category with a percentage of 86.9%. One of the key factors of the high value of Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) Teacher of Biology at the Sekolah Penggerak in Makassar is the reinforcement effort carried out at all levels of leadership, including the Head of School, School Supervisor, Owner, and Teacher which is seen from the presence of intensive training program and one-to-one support with expert trainers provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
