Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Kinetic Sand on the fine motor skills of first-grade students with cerebral palsy. A quantitative experimental method was employed using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The pretest results showed scores of DA (37.5), DI (31.25), AM (37.5), IL (43.75), and VA (37.5), with a mean of 37.5. Following the intervention, posttest results indicated score increases to DA (62.5), DI (56.25), AM (81.25), IL (81.25), and VA (87.5), with a mean of 73.75. Data were analyzed using the non-parametric Sign Test. The calculation yielded a Z-value of 2.236, indicating that all subjects experienced a positive improvement in their abilities. The study concludes that Kinetic Sand has a significant effect on improving the fine motor skills of students with cerebral palsy at SLB Negeri Cindogo Bondowoso.   Keywords: Kinetic Sand; Fine Motor Skills; Cerebral Palsy

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between the role of parents and children's discipline in performing prayer in the RT 02 neighborhood of Manurung Village, Tanah Bumbu Regency, based on the assumption that parental involvement is linked to children's prayer discipline. A quantitative approach was employed. The results indicate that the role of parents in guiding children to perform prayer is categorized as "good," with a score of 531 (70.8%). Children's discipline in performing prayer is categorized as "very good," with a score of 538 (86.08%). A correlaPrayern exists between the role of parents and children's discipline in performing prayer, with a calculated r value of 0.407. In conclusion, the better the role of parents, the better the children's discipline in performing prayer in the RT 02 neighborhood of Manurung Village, Tanah Bumbu Regency.   Keywords: Children's Discipline, Parental Role, Prayer

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping student personality at SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir, Tanah Bumbu Regency; to identify the efforts made by these teachers in this process; and to determine the factors involved in shaping student personality at the school. The study employs a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. The results indicate that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping student personality at SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir involves: a) analyzing the teacher's role in personality formation; b) analyzing the efforts undertaken by the teachers; and c) analyzing the factors involved in the process. The study concludes that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping student personality at SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir is crucial. Teachers do not merely act as instructors but are also capable of flexibly assuming various roles—serving as educators, parental figures, and friends to the students.   Keywords: Islamic Religious Education Teacher, Student Personality

Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences in the quality of physics practicum reports produced by 8th-grade junior high school students across three learning models: virtual experiments (PhET), real experiments, and blended laboratory. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control group design. The participants consisted of 45 students divided into three groups. The assessment instrument was a practicum report rubric covering objectives, procedures, data analysis, result interpretation, and evidence-based conclusions. Data were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA after satisfying the assumptions of normality and homogeneity. The results revealed significant differences among the groups (F(2,42) = 135.813; p < 0.001) with a very large effect size (η² = 0.866). Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of Grade XI students regarding the use of varied teaching methods in the Al-Qur’an Hadist subject at MA Negeri Kotabaru, as well as to identify the factors influencing these perceptions. A quantitative approach was employed using a descriptive research design. The results indicate that the Grade XI students' perception of the varied teaching methods in the Al-Qur’an Hadist subject at MA Negeri Kotabaru falls into the "high" category, with a score of 3,520. Factors influencing these perceptions include teacher strategies and creativity, clarity in material delivery, mastery of teaching methods, the use of instructional media and tools, and the learning environment. The findings demonstrate that the students' perceptions of the varied teaching methods in the Al-Qur’an Hadist subject align with the influence of the identified factors.   Keywords: Al-Qur’an Hadist, Varied Teaching Methods, Perception

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of a talaqqi-based Tahfidz (Quran memorization) level-grouping strategy in addressing students' difficulties in memorizing the Quran. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results indicate that the talaqqi-based Tahfidz level-grouping strategy is implemented by grouping students according to their memorization abilities and the quality of their Quranic recitation. The talaqqi method is applied through the teacher reciting verses—which the students then repeat—and the direct recitation of memorized passages for verification. This strategy helps students improve their recitation, enhance memorization fluency, and build self-confidence. In conclusion, the talaqqi-based Tahfidz level-grouping strategy is considered effective in overcoming the Quran memorization difficulties faced by eighth-grade students at SMPIT Insan Harapan Karawang.   Keywords: Memorization Difficulties, Level Grouping, Learning Strategy, Quran Memorization (Tahfidz), Talaqqi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Sabu-Sabu Program (One Month, One Book) in strengthening students' civic literacy at SMA Negeri 3 Tegal. A descriptive qualitative method with a single case study design was employed. The results indicate that the Sabu-Sabu Program has been implemented systematically since January 2026 through five stages of activity: providing literacy shelves, independent reading, completing literacy journals, writing book reviews, and conducting class presentations and discussions. The program has proven to contribute positively to strengthening three aspects of civic literacy: civic knowledge, civic skills, and civic dispositions. Observations and documentation reveal an increase in reading participation, literacy journal completion, library visits, and student engagement in discussions. Obstacles identified include a packed school schedule, varying student reading interests, and a limited collection of books with civic themes. In conclusion, this study affirms that fostering structured literacy habits is an effective instrument for strengthening civic literacy, requiring synergy among the school, subject teachers, and students. Abstract

This study aims to develop Canva-based interactive media for the "Stories About My Region" (Stories About My Region) subject in fourth-grade science at Kuto Baru State Elementary School and test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Validation results based on Aiken's V indicate the media is valid. The practicality test obtained a percentage of 88% from teachers, 86.6% in the one-to-one test, and 82.6% in the large group test, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test showed an average N-Gain value of 81%, categorized as high. Thus, Canva-based interactive media is declared valid, practical, and effective for use in fourth-grade science learning.   Keywords: Interactive Media, Canva, Science, Development, Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of discipline-related character among Generation Z students at SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat through the Dedication of Students to School and Entrepreneurial Skills (DSE) program. The study employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. The results indicate that the DSE program plays a role in shaping students' discipline by fostering habitual disciplined behavior, assigning responsibilities, enforcing school regulations, and involving students in activities that instill a work culture and leadership skills. Changes in disciplined behavior are evident in improved punctuality, adherence to school rules, responsibility in completing tasks, and a growing self-awareness among students regarding the fulfillment of their obligations. This development of discipline is influenced by internal factors—specifically student self-awareness and motivation—and external factors, including family, the school environment, social circles, and technology usage. In conclusion, the DSE program serves as an effective school initiative for fostering discipline in Generation Z students, equipping them for the workforce and life in society.   Keywords: Discipline Character, DSE Program, Generation Z, Character Education, SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat.
