Abstract

The cultivation of Islamic character values in the school environment is one of the important missions in value-based education. This article aims to examine the role of teachers in shaping Islamic character through routine activities at school. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method in several Islamic-based schools. Data were obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. The results show that routine activities such as congregational prayers, recitation of the Qur'an, and discussion of Islamic values are effective in building students' character. This article recommends close collaboration between teachers, students, and parents in supporting the formation of a solid Islamic character.

Abstract

Instilling Islamic values in students is one of the main objectives of Islamic religious education (PAI). Stories about the Prophet and his companions are one of the effective methods to convey these values. This study aims to examine how PAI teachers use stories of Prophets and Companions as learning media in the classroom, as well as their impact on students' understanding and behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in one of the elementary schools in Indonesia. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that the use of Prophet and Companion stories can increase students' interest in learning religion and help them understand and internalize Islamic values. This article suggests the development of a story-based learning module to improve the effectiveness of PAI learning.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology in education continues to grow, including in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital applications in improving students' understanding of PAI materials. The research was conducted through quantitative and qualitative approaches involving students and teachers from various levels of education. The results showed that digital applications, such as learning videos, interactive quizzes, and online modules, are able to improve students' understanding of Islamic concepts. However, this effectiveness depends on device availability, digital literacy and teacher support. This study suggests the integration of digital apps designed according to the curriculum and students' needs.

Abstract

Character education has become the main focus in education to build a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also has high morality. This article discusses the synergy between religious and science education in developing students' character in schools and madrasahs. Religious education provides a moral and spiritual foundation, while science trains the ability to think critically and understand natural phenomena logically. By integrating the two, learners are expected to have strong characters that include ethics, empathy, responsibility, and love for science. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to explore the relevance of actualizing both fields in character education. The findings show that integrating religion and science effectively can encourage learners to become individuals with integrity, innovative, and adaptive to global challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of contingency leadership style and situational leadership on job satisfaction with work motivation as a mediating variable. The phenomenon of the problem raised is the low job satisfaction of employees at Altha Medika Dua Clinic Sukabumi, which can have a negative impact on productivity and service quality. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the two leadership styles affect job satisfaction and the role of work motivation in this relationship. The research method used was a quantitative method with a survey approach using questionnaires distributed to 30 employees of Altha Medika Dua Clinic Sukabumi. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the PLS program. The data collected included primary data from questionnaires and secondary data from literature studies. The results showed that both contingency leadership and situational leadership had a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. In addition, work motivation is proven to mediate the relationship between contingency and situational leadership on job satisfaction. Work motivation itself also has a significant influence on job satisfaction. These results indicate the importance of adaptive and situational leadership and increased work motivation to improve employee job satisfaction at Altha Medika Dua Clinic Sukabumi.

Abstract

Contextual learning is an approach that links teaching materials with the real life of students, so that learning is more meaningful. so that learning is more meaningful. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the efforts of teachers of the Kedawung 4 Branch Al-Qur'an Interpretation Assembly in improving the quality of non-formal learning. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study research approach. This research data collection uses three techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of this research data uses triangulation techniques. The data were then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The key in running education as educational empowerment is needed in improving the quality of reliable and professional teaching, qualified infrastructure, institutional quality and the efforts of teachers to carry out their profession. This study shows the efforts of TPQ teachers in learning as an effort to improve the quality of non-formal Islamic education. The steps used as teacher efforts, starting from creating creative learning ideas so as to foster learning motivation, educational activities to improve the quality of TPQ, and the training and coaching of TPQ teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance of fashion MSMEs in Sukabumi with absorptive capacity as an intervening variable. Entrepreneurial orientation, which includes innovation, proactiveness and risk-taking, is believed to play a significant role in improving business performance through the ability of MSMEs to absorb, assimilate and exploit external knowledge. The study used quantitative methods with Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires involving 100 fashion MSMEs in Sukabumi. The results showed that entrepreneurial orientation has a significant positive influence on absorptive capacity (t-statistic = 28.215, p < 0.05) and business performance (t-statistic = 3.610, p < 0.05). Absorptive capacity also significantly affects business performance (t-statistic = 4.618, p < 0.05) and mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance (t-statistic = 4.630, p < 0.05). The most dominant absorptive capacity dimension is exploitation, which reflects the ability of MSMEs to generate new knowledge-based innovations. The conclusion of this study is that entrepreneurial orientation supported by absorptive capacity can improve the business performance of fashion MSMEs. This research provides practical implications for MSME actors to strengthen entrepreneurial orientation and develop absorptive capacity through training and access to external knowledge.

Abstract

Every Muslim uses the Koran as a guidance in life, although many Muslims are still illiterate. Al-Qur'an education is therefore required in the community as well as in Islamic boarding schools and formal schools. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1. Muhammadiyah Daarul Arqom Islamic Boarding School's Al Qur'an Learning Strategy. 2. Factors that Encourage and Discourage Muhammadiyah Daarul Arqom Islamic Boarding School to Use Al-Qur'an Learning Strategies. Data is gathered using a qualitative descriptive technique that includes observation, interviews, and documentation. The study's findings indicate that: 1. The Muhammadiyah Daarul Arqom Islamic boarding school uses a three-stage approach to teaching the Al-Qur'an: preparation, execution, and assessment 2). Supporting factors that occur in learning the Qur'an at the Muhammadiyah Daarul Arqom Islamic boarding school, namely: a) adequate classroom facilities, mosques and study places, b) good communication, carried out by ustadz with ustadz, ustadz with people old students, and ustadz with students. c) Motivation, which the ustadz gives to the students. The inhibiting factors that occur are: a) Laziness within the students, b) friends, when the students see their friends playing, the students are interested in following them.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of active learning methods in improving students' understanding of moral material at school. Active learning is a learning approach that emphasizes students' active participation in the teaching and learning process. In this study, various techniques such as group discussions, simulations, and case studies were used to encourage student engagement. The results show that this method is effective in improving students' understanding of moral concepts, creating an interactive learning atmosphere, and building critical thinking skills. The findings provide important implications for the development of morals learning methods in schools.
